Critics of Christianity say the Bible has many versions, while the Quran has none. Well, I have read many versions, and could not discover any inconsistencies. They are all having the same meaning but different constructions. Then, what is the offence in making it simpler for people of a particular area or region? I challenge anyone to point out a Bible version having meaning different from others.

As for the Quran, there are different translations, conveying different meanings. If you care to see them, I am more than ready to quote them. The argument put forward as a defence is that the Arabic text is always the same. But the question is, do Muslims understand Arabic language differently?

Which is better: Bible versions having the same meaning or Quranic translations with different meanings?

Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not (Quran 2:216).


Muslims claim jihad (Islamic War) is self defence. If it is truly self defence, why would Allah say you hate it.

Do Muslims at any time in history hate self defence? No one hates defending himself/herself.

It natural for humans and even animals to defend themselves from being attacked. If they cannot face the situation with self defence, they would naturally run for their dear lives without being told.

You need no god or God to instruct you to defend yourself. What the Quran is prescribing here is fighting innocent non-muslims and not a case of self defence.


Allah said fighting is good for you.

Islamic terrorists kill only Muslims who do not believe in their ideology, which is clearly written in the Quran. If you do not join in the fight for Allah to islamize your environment, you are not different from kafri (i.e unbelievers in islam).

Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame, etc.), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives.

That shows if you are not disabled and you do not join in jihad, the same treatment given to kafri should be given to you as a Muslim. This is the reason terrorists kill some Muslims too.

Look at these also:

Quran (9:123) - "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness." 

Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 992: - "Fight everyone in the way of Allah and kill those who disbelieve in Allah."

Would you still say Islam is.a religion of peace?

Islam is the enemy of itself and enemy of human race. Muslims kill Muslims and worse still, they kill peaceful people who they refer to as kadri. I tell you the truth, if the whole world is made of only Muslims, there still will be no peace in the world. It shows the kind of spirit behind Islam, not God.

Christianity is not a religion. It is man's relationship with God. It advocates peace in all ramifications:

It says " if you are slapped on the right cheek, turn the left also ". What can be more peaceful than this?

It says " instead of taking people to court, choose to be cheated". What can be more peaceful than this?

It says " Live in PEACE with ALL men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.(Hebrew 12:14).

This is in contrast to what the Qur'an says:

Note that it doesn't say " fighting in defence or reprisal but fighting open ended. How is fighting good for man? How do you claim a religion that commands fighting is a religion of peace?

As long as the Quran exists in the world, generations of Muslims will keep fighting in obedience to its injunction.

The war against islamic terrorism can not be won as the inspiration is expressly permanent.

God's name is not God. The word "God is generic, it is not His personal name, just as human beings are called "man". Man is not the name of individual man. Everyman has his personal name. Therefore, if Allah means God in Arabic, what is His personal name?

Please note that personal name cannot be interpreted. If a man bears Babatunde for example, Babatunde means " father has come again ". If anyone no matter his or her language, wants to call him, he will call " Babatunde " and not the interpretation.

So, in this case, God introduced Himself to man as Yahweh and Jehovah, which cannot be interpreted into any language. Anywhere in the world, irrespective of language, must call by his personal name, Yahweh or Jehovah. But I learnt Allah has personal names in Islam that are not Yahweh and Jehovah. This means Allah is not the same Spirit as Jehovah of the Bible because of the difference in the names.

It is even clearer when you juxtapose Jehovah's words in the Bible and Allah words in the Qur'an. They are quite opposite.

The matter is very simple.

If Jehovah is Allah, what is wrong in saying Jehovah Akbar by Nigerian Muslims, after all, both names: Jehovah and Allah are not their language. Why must they stick to calling Allah alone if both are the same God?

If you read the Quran, Allah claimed to be the doer of almost everything Jehovah did in the Bible, creating the impression that he is the Jehovah. If that is true, Muslims should not avoid calling their God by any of his names.

Acid test for the Muslims

It is often said that Jehovah, the God of Israel is the same as Allah. Jehovah had been God from the ages past and if Allah is not Jehovah, it means he (Allah) is not the true God.

For Muslims to be rest assured they are worshiping the true God, Jehovah, it is advisable for them to test it by saying Jehovah Akbar in the mosque, afterall you are calling on the same God.

From my knowledge of islam, I think it is only the sin of "SHIRK" (i.e associating another god with Allah) that is unforgivable. Then, why do Muslims call for the head of anyone who insult Muhammad? Can't they forgive the one?

We all watch Yoruba movies on DSTV where muslim artistes make mockery of Christianity and no one raises eyebrow. Christianity is self sustaining and no amount of mockery, intimidation and killing can stop it.

I wonder why Muslims seem merciless and do not have pity on anyone that insult Islam or Muhammad. A religion that is true should be self-sustaining and not feel intimidated or fought for by its adherents to survive.

You don't know the meaning of that verse. You don't just read the Bible, you need to be schooled in it.

What muslims are doing to the Christians is the meaning of that verse. Because of the faith in Jesus as the Son of God the muslims hate and kill Christians.

That is violence and sword Jesus was talking about.

If Christians fought war, they are on their own.

If Jesus had wanted war, nobody would have been able to arrest him. He told Peter to shield his sword. Again, Jesus said if he wanted to fight, he would have got angels to fight for him. From Bible records, one angel is capable of killing 180,000 persons in one night.

Please note that Muslims are also human beings and do not possess special skill for warfare. It is just that they attack people who are not prepared to fight.

While Jesus warned his followers against fighting, allah said:

As a matter of personal opinion, I believe self defence is okay. When Jesus was about to be crucified, he told the Disciples to get a sword each. I believe Jesus knew if they have swords, it might be difficult for the enemies to approach them. If they killed all of them at the same time, nobody would have carried on the Gospel.

Well, I believe the way forward is prayers by Christians. In fact Nigeria is at the verge of religious war like Lebanon if God does not intervene on time. We can see what is happening in the Northern Nigeria today.

Another point is: these people know that Christians do not love violence, except they have no choice. Jesus warned us about violence and this is what Muslims are capitalizing on. May God have mercy.

I have just read the story about what happened after the death of Muhammad that brought about the various factions of Islam. There were many wars (deaths) among the Muslims, which brought about Shiites and others.

Remember, there was a lot of deaths (blood sheds) during the time of Muhammad and now after him.

How does that look like a religion of peace or somebody is deceiving somebody somewhere?

Muslims on continuous fight with Muslims and non-muslims alike. "A religion of peace" with fight from the inception till now and till end time. Is it reasonable to consider the religion as that of peace? Irony !!!

Is this not religious compulsion? How is this peaceful?

There is nothing muslims will not do to get christians believe Muhammad was God's prophet. I will not be surprised if muslims write another bible in Aramaic (Jesus) language purportedly written by Jesus himself.

It is so clear you have nothing to debunk your one-god being the idol in Muhammad's family.

Having seen the truth with clear evidences from islamic sources that cannot be biased against islam but said the truth about the religion that your one-god is not the true God, and yet you are adarmant, I wonder what excuse you have to give after death.

I cannot understand how idol worship that was the practice in Muhammad's family, which they later changed to islam can take muslims to God's heaven.
