Prof Corruption: What's worth doing at all is worth doing well. Ask GEJ to do it properly. STOP celebrating mediocrity.. Anu ofia. Why wont we celebrate mediocrity? Did we see such Airport few months back? Bad Belle.Monkey no fine but im mama like am. We like am like that. |
What is wrong with all these Yoruba people. Enugu people are not complaining. If he had decided not to renovate it, would anybody hold him responsible for that? What did Obasanjo do for Nigeria, his yoruba land and more especially the south east for 8yrs. Nothing. All he did was to play politics with our Senate presidency slot and his kinsmen were busy laughing and using it against us. Even the only road that leads to the east from Lagos was abandoned for 8yrs. I know what my people suffered to get to their villages during festive periods. Some spent days on Lagos - Ore road. Now that God has remembered us, some evil illuminatis don carry bad belle come. Na only God go punish una. Wicked saboteurs. |
This is the second time GEJ will be defeated first was tambuwals election. The grand finale of his defeat will be in 2015
. Tambuwals victory was a defect to the yoruba nation and not GEJ. my friend think well |
Mbakwe was not all good news to the whole Imo people not to talk of the whole east.., do yuo know? Ask orlu poeople whom he totally neglected because his political foe came from there. Yet i TOTALLY agree that he was the best governor of his time.Okorocha is building roads at a speed never seen in the history of that state, rebuilding almost all the schools, building a brand new university and then this Some people were here few days ago praising the Osun state governor for stuff like this but Rochas is going to have you guys rain on his parade because he lambasted lazy youths "sagging" their pants while refusing "inferior" farm work? Imo imports almost all her food. I say; pull off their sagging pants and get them into some farms for some needed moment of productivity. Okorocha may not be your Donald Duke, but he is getting the job done!
Name the completed roads. Rem that the Otamiri road is NDDC. |
Sometimes I wonder what type of forum is Nairaland. I don’t want to believe that the members are bunch of lazy and unemployed people who just sit to discuss non-issues. Some people after reading jagons and cooked up stories will start insulting their Governors and fellow Nairalanders cos they can afford N500 for BBCWEEK. The theme of yesterday’s event was “Imo Youths must work”. From the theme, you should know what to expect. Youths trooped to Hero’s square with their credentials for civil service jobs and possible employment in the state work force and were disappointed when the Gov. told them that no white collar jobs would be made available. He asked them to fill a form which will enable them be a part of the YOUTHS MUST WORK PROGRAM. He told the youths that they will be engaged in farming as lands have been secured in every autonomous community. He promised to procure 500 cabs for youths who want to be cab drivers, and in PPP, he shall post people to hotels and supermarket where they will be paid by the respective employers. Well these didn’t go down well with the youths, who asked/shouted that their 10,000 job should be given back to them. My people even if My Imo is too Rich, she can’t pay the unemployed. The same yesterday, some youths from Niger and Taraba states wore vests and displayed posters with Owelle’s picture and an inscription “We appoint you for 2015 National Assignment. What a coincidence. Pls stop insulting yourselves and allow these people play their politics. |
At times our biased mind blinds us from the truth. Rochas is not among the list of our politicians who enjoy abandoned projects. I bet you non of his projects ongoing in Imo presently has suffered abandonment. The School stipends for Imo school children in primary and secondary is still on. Two weeks ago, it was paid; 300 for primary and 500 for secondary students. The Imo Youth Engineer Corps is still in progress, with the youths attached to construction firms carrying on the different infrastructuraal constructions across the state. At the flag off of the unemployed graduates scheme today at the Heroes Square, it is a right step in the right direction. Lets be constructive in our criticisms. Long Live my Imo State
What about the corp members? |
let the right thing be done, bring back d sacked 10k workers and pay their arrears, pay workers salary, leave allowance, over time, pay local contractors who did roads over a year ago, pupils' stipend etc. i would be glad to receive payment from the govt. but the right thing first. |
Haba. Why r some human beings difficult. The senate said there is no state of emergency yet cos he president has not transmitted to them a gazette that will aid in their debate and subsequent approval and that the presido has not breached any law cos there is no specific time for transmission of gazette. GEJ may chose to transmit by 2015. pls una go get high BP where this man dey oooo. Make una leave this man alone and go una normal business. Power is from God alone and for now, he gave it to an Ijaw Nigerian, GEJ. |
Division already. Exactly why the smart dude in Imo state made a statement, 'imo is still an Apga state'. Aggrieved Politicians congress (APC) has a slim chance of surviving. |
They say he tricked us with Azikiwe, with Niger bridge and so on. If u reason like this, you are the biggest fool. Tell me whom we should have voted for, Ribadu or Buhari? What did the east benefit all these yrs the north was ruling? what type of appointments did the east get? which people were murdered in the north after a slight provocation? I tell u that igbos will always vote an ijaw man over an awusa man. Is it the yorubas? Achebe said it all. We will still vote an ijaw over u. U may say am tribalistic, but i don't see any difference btw that and racism. It is still prevalent in America and Europe. i think most of the igbos r for GEJ come 2015. If he is not good enough, show us the saint we should vote for. |

which debt, which workers?. Adapalm workers? The same Adapalm sold to Roche, now govt wants to pay them. Shame on u. well lets see if govt pays. |
Its very unfortunate that people that have never been to Imo before will come to NL to write rubbish, even PDP have acknowledged his achievements but their problem with him is that they say he is lawless. Rochas have transformed Imo greatly.
on wetheral road alone? hahaha. less than 6months ago, the bulb holders on street light were changed, today new complete sets r being installed. clueless and waste of money. only one school completed, no road completed, no hospital completed, roche can't pay adapalm staff, salaries yet to be paid, wedding completed, hosting of yoruba elders completed, demolition of people's shops to plant grass, multiple and over taxation yet imo account empty. |
Yes you are confused Sycophant. Is it my job to clear back logs? Should we leave it for Ohakim? Oh I forgot, Imo state is now broke due to reckless spending of Imo money by Rochas.
for ur info, labour is not on strike cos of backlog. These r the reason for the strike. 1. Non payment of subvention to ministries, non payment of allowances and salaries (water board and imo statesman owed more than six months), deduction of 1% from workers salaries and increased hardship. I guess the opposition manufactured all these. Ndi ara. |
Dede1: I will not allow you to cross a slightly busy traffic carriageway without an adult holding your hand. You just finished the idiot. God bless u a million times. |
No b APC state and d want us to give dem Nija so that they will turn us to 3rd worst country to live in? |
I would be very happy for you to highlight how this Governor (Amaechi) had persecuted the certain LGA Chairman? Please I would appreciate it that you humour me , and the vast majority, that would not know HOW thios persecution has taking place so that we can juxtapose it with what bis currently going on.
Read the papers. some LGA chairmen were suspended in River State. |
bucknor and pedro were constituitionally removed by the house of assembly.thats a totally different case from jonathan and amaechi.jonathan cannot use his powers as president to supress another constituitionally elected official.moreso since they are both empowered by the same constitiution
The house removed the deputies for doing what? For Falling out of favour with their Oga on top? pls spare me that bullshit. The same happened in imo. The deputy was accused wrongly and within an hour was booted out. These r guys that call themselves progressives. Having a vindictive nature doesn't make u a progressive, and this is one character all these APC Govs. have. |
This guys came to the same state where the Gov. sacked elected chairman before their time to tell us that GEJ should stop harassing Amechi. Wetin concern APC for PDP matter? These clowns no get work. They r d real clueless. GEJ u too soft, pls unleash EFCC on any stubborn Gov. |
justokey: Where will Owelle be In 2015? Just wondering. You didn't mention labour party in 2011 before buying APGA from Martin Greedy Agbaso |
funshint: Whoever cares Okorocha made APGA relevant in Imo state. He would hv been in political limelight a long time ago if not for d shabby electoral system under #Prof Maurice Iwu #OBJ.I don't agree with you. Imo has been an APGA state if not for the Nigerian politics. The first result in 1999 was in favour of Uche Onyeagocha who was an APGA candidate. In 2007, Martin Greedy Agbaso was cruising home to victory under APGA before the result was canceled. Okorocha before the 2011 election was in labour party which i myself have a membership card, but because he knew that the only party that could take him to douglas house was an Igbo Party, AGPA, he immediately cross-carpeted. APGA made Rochas and not the other way round. |
Haba. i thought he said that his head was examined in the UK and nothing was found wrong? see what imo has been reduced to. A laughing stock. All these APC followers supporting freedom square, i wonder what they will say if it were to be GEJ. Clueless, dullard, inexperience, slowpoke, human right abuser. After 4yrs, we fit turn am to boys scout secretariat. |
very dumb comments, from a dumb guy.dis guys makes me feel ashame somtyms,in dis age of civilization, a grown man wil b makin dis kinda comments
didn't someone from the north make the same comment. no 2015. for north, no Nigeria. Abegiii. |
43 years after the war, alot of regrets. Nigeria in God's Hands. |
Sheenor: whr is da evidence??Are you a dullard? The speaker wanted to probe ministries and Fashola opposed, is that not a striking evidence? |
it appears gej looks too gentle and does not carry d aura of a president - some one in charge. thats why some pple can open their mouth and insult him. u cant try some of these nonsense with obj or ABACHA. and it seems a mistake for him to even have a facebook acct, which gave some pple d opportunity to insult him. what will happen if he creates a nairand acct. obj and others had no time for facebook. Don Demu: Tel 'em joor!. Tell us wetin? Didn't even understand a crap from all his blah blah blah. U wey understand, pls tell us. |
the devil u know is better than d angel u don't know. GEJ has done enough to win my vote come 2015. it was the northerns that created corruption in nija and not GEJ. do u see the massive employment? 9 universities and 6 mega uni. lagos-ore road, our airports, phcn etc are all getting attention. The only crime i know he committed is that he is an ijaw man. we need developmental policies and not wai, the judiciary can handle that the name Jonathan simply means God sent. Google it. |

Now ASK yourself why is there no improvement in the average lives of Nigerians in the Boko Haram zones? What do these people want this power for? Please give the south (South South)just 8 yrs and then you shall see the difference. Nigeria and the North will be a much better place. The elites are becoming richer and the common man poorer. |
