cry

It is quite unfortunate how these bills manage to pass all stages, first, second readings before landing on the table of a president that doesn't understand ANY ATOM of the so called bill he signs.
This point you highlighted here marvels me. This is not even encouraging a cashless economy. People might rather withdraw and pay by cash than using the cashless method of bank transfer. I also see this affecting the middle and lower class more than the upper class.

Nigeria, a nation blessed with abundant human and natural resources, but lack good leadership.
Yankiss:
"10. Stamp duty on bank transfers will apply to amounts of N10,000 and above. Transfers between the same owner's accounts in the same bank will be exempted. Electronic bank transfers included"
Who is sponsoring these bills should be stoned. They are tightening the noose on the common man. After all these realized are systematically looted by mindless poly-thieves. I do not support these regulations at all. Taxes should be imposed on high transactions among the elite. Anything that makes things more difficult for a 30k wager is not acceptable.

Politics › Re: ‘Happy Birthday To My Incorruptible GMB’ – Aisha Buhari Calls Husband ‘General’ by Cmanforall: 11:21am On Dec 17, 2019
shocked
She started by calling him ' incorruptible '. Those who are into psychology or languages, would have imagined the first adjective used to qualify a husband should not be this word- incorruptible. Why did she not start with romantic words? Why addressing Buhari as a 'husband' rather than General? In fact, the way she addressed Buhari is similar to what any Buhari supporter or Sychophant would use.
This could show how she sees the 'husband', then Nigerians shouldn't be surprised how they are treated and led by the General.

This is a sponsored attack on pmt

Why was GUO not mentioned

How many people died from GUO bus?

Nobody is talking about our roads
Travel from onitsha to Enugu and u will know life is hard on that road.

Pmt speed limit is 100km/hr
For accident to occur, one must be at fault. I did not analyzed the scene, but if an expert did, or eye witness gave account and PMT were at fault, then they deserve to be blamed.

And for those using public transportation, please if the driver is overspeeding or driving recklessly, caution him gently and do not exchange words.
If no correction on his driving, report him to next Check-Point. Let Nigerians also protect themselves, not only from bandits, but reckless drivers.
Politics › Re: Senate Seeks 20% Of National Budget As Their Constituency Projects by Cmanforall: 1:22pm On Dec 13, 2019
Had it been these senators actually execute developmental projects in their communities or constituencies, Nigerians would have applauded this move. However, Tom Dick and Harry, know that this is an avenue for them to loot and enrich themselves, while thinking of the next election. In this equation, there is no benefit for their constituency development, unless for the touts that will help rig them into office next election, and the poor masses that will queue up for the bags of rice or 1000 naira they will share during campaign season.

These SINators, should rather be moving for increased budget in health care, education and security. They should also ensure adequate usage of those funds. Constituency projects without names is audio.

That is why I detest travelling by road, you are left at the mercies of the driver , who might have drank enough alcohol before he drives
The road transport sector should be regulated like the airways, but who will do it, when most leaders fly always.
Just imagine people dying via the carelessness of someone else.

In some states, corp members are posted in such rural areas, that even for them to do some NYSC-associated registrations, they have to travel early to the capital, only to come back at night. Sometimes, to access bank as well.

I think all these unnecessary spending of taxpayers more to satisfy the already satisfied SHOULD STOP!

A lawmaker, in the current situation of this country, can buy himself or herself a brand new car, either legitimately or otherwise. I don't condole the illegal means of acquiring wealth, but the executive should rather channel the resources used for those cars to the people of the state.

I wish I am a lawmaker, I will be the first to reject this kind of gift, especially when my people are suffering. I would rather use the money for one project in my constituency.

Let us wise up and take power from all these greedy and embezzling politians!

It seems you didn't get the intended deep meaning to my initial statement.
But that's okay.
Poanan:
YES. However, ECOWAS is even a regional organisation you don't go there to submit petition. A police station is a good example.

For example, you have a rancour with your neighbour and you want to take the case to court, you must pass through the police.

To understand what denial of entry into INEC premises means, why not start by reading write-ups on public institution?
Politics › Re: Dino Melaye Barred From INEC Headquarters (VIDEO) by Cmanforall: 11:03pm On Nov 27, 2019
What's your point here?

Have you entered ECOWAS premises?
Poanan:
That doesn't make it right to be denied access to the INEC office. It is a commission.
Politics › Re: Dino Melaye Barred From INEC Headquarters (VIDEO) by Cmanforall: 8:36pm On Nov 27, 2019
I heard Sen. Dino shouting "...this is a public institution, you can't stop them from entering..."

Please, for those living in Abuja, do you know that the National Assembly is a public institution? How feasible is it for one to enter, say for a public hearing?
Your comments will be appreciated, especially for people who have always wanted to witness such.

Thank you.
