Though Atiku may not be the best president for Nigeria, but this man is more presidential than Buhari.
I am sure Buhari cannot comfortable make such statements in person. He will be lacking history info and grammar.
Politics › Re: Uche Ogbuagu: Why I Dumped Ihedioha, PDP For APC by Cmanforall:
You got some points here...
Ohakim time: He broadcasted the beating of Man of God by the governor. Despite no concrete evidence. That, could stand as a false accusation.

Rochas period: He was given a government appointment. When it seems sour, he again started bashing Rochas, saying he played the Imo people - he will promise one and do another, etc.

From his reasons, I can deduce somethings:
1. Selfishness
2. No knowledge of his job
3. Eager to satisfy his wife

Why is he asking the LGA Chairman how much he receives? Ideally, declaring monthly income to the LGAs is alright (During Achike Udenwa's period, the figures are announced on the radio for every LGA monthly), but has he Uche Ogbuagu told his constituency members how much he gets from the state (at least he has a radio station to make the broadcast)?

What does he mean by the wife was not carried along during the August meeting? If as a wife of a State lawmaker, you want to impact on the lives of your constituents, say using the August meeting, she doesn't need to follow the bandwagon of the Governor's wife to visit places. She can do her bit in that Ikeduru LGA, maybe in coalition with the LGA Chairman's wife. Another question would have been, has the wife been active in their village August meeting, before going to other villages?

When you look deeply at the points he mentioned, I think Ikeduru deserve a better representative. You cried because you lost deputy speakership? And while as a floor member, which bill have you initiated? You must not be deputy speaker to contribute to the lives of Ikeduru people and Imo state in general.

Asking about Entraco etc. Making phone calls etc. is inconsequential. He would have raised it during a session, and then urge the house to invite the Entraco chairman for clarification or to know the situation at hand. Uche, you are a law maker, not a contractor.
Again, you noticed some projects have been completed on paper, but not in reality, why not raise the motion in the house, use your radio, rather you are making calls to ask questions. There are approaches he should have used and his people will know he has their interest at heart. In fact, no one would worry about his defection now. But the way he presents this seems similar to other politicians that don't want to be short-changed.

I have no time to go through all I've written, but feel free if you disagree with some or all the points.

All I see is a greedy and selfish person that always puts himself first in everything now tell me, where you not the same person that accused rochas regime of being selfish to the extent you used your radio station to project ihedioha, oh I forgot you equally did the same thing to ohakim to bring in rochas in 2011. Now you have fallen out of favor with them. Don't you know that all these politicians are only after themselves. Yet you keep dining with them and allowing them dribble you like a football. If you can't beat them join them Mr ogbuagu.. Nigerian politicians don't give a 4k about you and the masses. I'm very sure that before 2023 you will look for another politician to campaign for and tell the whole world how Hopeless the current governor of IMO state is tongue

Some people are just heartless sha. Keep professionalism aside. How can you raise your hand or an object to strike someone who's old enough to be your mom? What justification can you possibly provide?
If i be that Nurse pikin eh the doctor for collect.
I'm sure the hospital will kill this case because the victim is a nurse and a woman.
You're showing your dislike for those doctors. Could it be you are a nurse or other health professional?

I think the name Njemanze is popular, and I don't know if they have political influence. That might play a role in the decision, and not necessarily his profession. If he did what you said, it is totally wrong, and no profession or colleague can condole a glaring assault.

But why are you making it not only a thing of profession, but gender issue?
Health › Re: Doctor Assaults Senior Nurse In FMC, Owerri by Cmanforall: 9:03pm On Jan 28, 2020
TriliOne:
The incident happened on the 4th January which was on a Saturday, the house officer was said to be using the digital sphygmomanometer which belonged to the A.C. N.O in question to check himself. The A.C.N.O however asked him to stop using the sphyg as it belonged to her because he had a previous history of assault against her which she didn’t report. He ignored her & continued using it. This surprising disobedience and force for use of her personal item prompted her to disconnect the cuff on his arm from the machine and carried it (the machine) waiting so he can give her the cuff, however the describable aggressive House Officer unexpectedly, removed the cuff and used it to flog the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer on her neck up to her cheek, enough that she sustained injury on her neck.

The doctor in his aggressive suit also attempted to beat the second Nurse around who the scene tried to intervene upon sighting the scene of embarrassment. This happened at the A&E (Casualty) unit of the hospital on that fateful Saturday.

When I spoke with the affected Chief, she said she has written to the MD and Head of Clinical Services (H.C.S) through the H.O.D of Nursing Services Department. The best the H.C.S could do was to ask the House Officer in training- Nnanna Njemanze to apologize to the Nurse. I also asked her about the issue of a previous assault on her by the same h.o. She told me that towards the end of December, 2019, Nnanna Njemanze came to catheterize a female patient at the Casualty but the patient refused the procedure, hence she encouraged him to document patient’s refusal but he told her in exactly remembered sentence: “shut up! who are you to tell me what to do?”.

When they came aside, she went ahead to talk to him personally on the importance of his documentation to help exonerate himself from any negative implication and went ahead to wash her hands in the sink. While she was doing so, he gave her a slap on her ear from behind which affected her left ear and eye.

Everyone present were surprised and she merely spoke to him not to try it again as it was wrong. Only for him to take a step further barely 2 weeks from his first crime! If Nnanna Njemanze, a house officer could behave this way, it therefore means by the time he becomes a consultant, Nurses would have to run away from him and don’t forget, he may be in any hospital in any part of Nigeria for that matter. He didn’t even consider the age of the woman in question! Check how many years in service it would have taken her to climb to the level of an A.C.N.O (at least 12-13 years or more) definitely before Nnanna Njemanze entered the University to study Medicine.

Most annoyingly was another House Officer I personally approached at F.M.C about this issue and he told me precisely “forget that matter, e don die, dem don kill am. Nothing dey happen”. Really?, could that be true? Simply because he’s a doctor, the MD a doctor, the HCS also a doctor? Is that the reason for the high level of clear injustice?? But if that Nurse had retaliated, they would have known that Civil Service rule applies and the Nurse would have been going from one disciplinary panel and committee to another until they terminate her job.

Now, nobody has arisen to take strict action on this because he’s really not worth it. Such a person is a threat to other health workers, does not exhibit any knowledge of work place ethics and cannot relate healthily with other health workers. If you’re interested in this matter, you’re highly welcome to investigate this yourself.

The BOLDED reveals your bias, or should I say exhibited your hatred towards medical doctors.

I am not in support of any assault at work place or elsewhere, irrespective of field, age, profession or years of experience.

If a Nigerian can appeal this way for a genuinely solid project, e.g. for constant electricity in a region, and it is executed successfully, then the country can move forward. Unfortunately, the Nigerian's speak through tax and oil revenue is yet to guarantee the bases of development- constant electricity, good transport system and security.

SipCoke:
I apologize for the long post... So the thing is, I am 22 years old currently in 200 level. My performance is very poor, in fact I'm currently on probation(I'm suppose to be in 300 level by now) and that's not because I'm not intelligent or I'm dull o. it's just that i don't show commitment towards my studies because I've completely lost interest in the course I'm currently studying because of its calculation aspect. I hate calculations a lot. Let me say, I'm more of a theory person. I have tried applying for change of course but i was denied maybe because of my poor performance. My Father doesn't know anything about this. "no issues at all Daddy, my result is good", my response whenever he asked me about my result.

So i have finally decided to apply for withdrawal from my current school to register and sit for jamb again. This time i will apply for a course in a different institution. This course in question is a course I've wanted to study long ago but my current school don't offer it. My friend studies it and I've done research on the course my self. I'm very sure i can do it this time.

Now i don't even know how to approach my father with this. I know I've fvcked up big time. The man will be so so annoyed and disappointed in me but i can't continue like this, i want to get things on track, i want to fix my life and start afresh. Right now I'm just confused and frustrated. Nairalanders, i will need your advice and suggestions. Please what's your take on this?
You don't need to withdraw to attempt JAMB again. It seems you are here to seek an easy way out to be a dropout.
And what guarantee do you have to secure that dream course of yours?
I'm guessing it's Law. Just a Guess.
It was everywhere how a lady who scored above 300 in JAMB couldn't secure admission in her course of choice.
And can you give us a breakdown of your SSCE result?

My 1kobo: Be in the University and attempt another JAMB.

Local Government has been to reduced to Money siphoning For State governments. They are all at the mercies of theestate governors.
This is why I support autonomy of the local government. That's one of the major ways grassroot people can hold government account. They shall also vote the person they trust that will work for them.

And most LG Chairmen are reachable, in the sense that the people know their homes. So it will make anyone occupying such seat to be up and doing, and not take it as a political appointment.

#I Stand For LG Autonomy.
