This guy that PDP fronted because he shared lots of money is more or less inactive in that constituency, giving APC or APGA the chance to clinch that seat.
He is a youth, and should have made his voice heard in the green chambers, but he remains dull there.

Politics › IMO STATE: Hon Chike Okafor of APC Sworn-In by Cmanforall(op):
The past member representing Okigwe South federal constituency under the APC, Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, has been sworn-in for the second term following a tribunal victory over Hon Emeka Nwajiuba of the Accord party.
This is coming after Hon. Nwajiuba hast been given a portfolio under the present government to serve as a Minister. Information reaching us has it that Emeka Nwajiuba did not appeal the case, thus making Hon. Chike Okafor to be the substantial representative of the Okigwe Southern in the green chambers.
This is the first time anyone is going for a second tenure in this federal constituency, as there has been a modus operandi for rotatory system amongs the local governments involved, i.e Ehime Mbano, Obowo and Ihitte-Uboma LGAs.
Hon. Okafor has broken the record, and people of the constituency hope he delivers effectively as he serves for another four years.

newsynews:
Peter Okoye was left in shock after he called a lady to inform her that she had won N500k in the Zoom Lifestyle lottery.

In the draw for the winners of the Zoom lottery, a woman’s phone number emerged as one of the winners.

When Peter Okoye who is the CEO of the company called the woman’s number to break the good news to her, what he got as response shocked him.

The woman cut the call after she told him that she was not interested in what he had to say because she was busy.

What happened after Peter Okoye called again can only be seen in the video below.

https://wotzup.ng/peter-okoye-tells-woman-that-she-won-n500k-what-she-did-next-is-shocking/
The woman should still get her prize. They can contact her other ways that would erase any suspicious of fraud. For instance, sending her a text message, directing her to this video clip or via email.
I won't support it if Peter skips(robs) her to pay another. She's just being security conscious. Moreover, she might know him (Peter) better as P-square.
Denying her this opportunity could spell scam for this Zoom stuff.

Question to you OP: Did Mr P skip her number?

I would even suggest the least qualification to runforan elective position in the government bro Bea bachelor's degree or equivalent. In the past, secondary school certificate was seen as a remarkable achievement in the ones' education, but these days the situation is different.

Also, the country should consider cutting costs of governance, to make it less attractive for enrichment, but more of service to humanity.

You are right, not in all countries. But a friend did her own by herself through innovate. It's over a month now, nothing. No passport, and they keep telling her (rudely) they would send her an email when it is ready. Just imagine if there's an urgent need for the passport.

I think a lot can be done to smoothen all these. Hopefully soon, since they are already making improvements.

I honestly think this reason is lame, except there’s something they’re not telling us. The people to be evacuated are Nigerians with a Nigerian airline. I don’t get how an expired passport will stop them from flying. The view of the immigration officer on arrival is that you are coming home and as such all you need to do is prove citizenship, which an expired passport does.
Good point

Where did the government offend you here.
Try renewal of passport abroad. You will see big men begging those embassy staff, answering them madams and ogas, all to get their passports renewed. Even at that, they delay and drag it for weeks to months. Nothing frustrates like that, especially when one has a set out plan/need for the passport.
The question is why does it take months to produce a passport?

Not Avoiding Or Slowing Down for Speed Bumps or Potholes

https://i2.wp.com/autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/speed-bump.jpg?w=600&ssl=1

Running into a speed bump or pothole too fast or carelessly will destroy your suspension and wheel alignment. To avoid any of these damages to your car, reduce your car speed when you are approaching a speed bump or pothole.

Allowing Your Fuel Tank Run Low

https://i2.wp.com/autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/fuel-low.jpg?w=600&ssl=1

Driving your car when it is low on fuel can cause it some damage. If you run the car low on fuel consistently, you can over-stress the fuel pump and making it hotter which can cause premature damage to it.

When there is not enough fuel in the tank, the fuel pump does not get the same level of protection as it would otherwise.

Your car’s fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. In order to function properly, it needs to be completely submerged in fuel. Typically, this means you need at least ¼ of a tank to keep it submerged.

Long-term exposure to air can lead to early deterioration of the fuel pump.

Leaving it constantly exposed to air can cause the pump to suck in air and generate heat. This also allows sediment to build up in your tank. This can reduce the working life of your fuel pump significantly.

When properly used and maintained, a fuel pump should last at least 100,000 miles if not the lifetime of your vehicle.

Using the Wrong Engine Oil

https://i0.wp.com/autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/pouring-engine-oil.jpg?w=600&ssl=1

Choosing the right oil during an oil change is very important. When you are servicing of your car, it is important that you choose the right oil during an oil change.

Oil is very important to the engine. So you should ensure to take great care to use only the recommended product for your car. Using the wrong oil will cause damage to your engine.

The thickness of the oil (viscosity) affects how the oil does its job. Each car engine was designed for a specific viscosity. There is a whole lot of difference between 5W-30 and 10W-30 engine oil. Always stick with the manufacturer recommendation, conveniently found in your owner’s manual.

Ignoring the Check Engine light

https://i2.wp.com/autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/check-engine-2.jpg?w=600&ssl=1

When your Check Engine light comes on, it is your car’s way of calling your attention to a fault. The problem could a minor one, but if left untreated, it could turn into something very costly.

Investigate the potential problems yourself or take the car to a mechanic and have it checked.

If the check engine light remains constant, the vehicle’s problem is not an emergency but you should get the fault checked as soon as possible. However, when the check engine light is blinking that means there could be a severe engine misfire and that may cause unburned fuel to be dumped into the exhaust system

Using Wrong Cleaning Products

https://i0.wp.com/autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/cleaning-product-1.jpg?w=600&ssl=1

We often make the mistake of assuming that it does not really matter how we wash your car, as long as you get it clean. Well actually, using the wrong products or accessories can damage your paintwork, making it look dull and scratched.

For instance, Using wrong cleaning products containing ammonia on tinted windows will cause them to be discoloured (purple-tinted).

Most of the cleaners sold for car upholstery can also cause the vinyl and leather seats to fade.

Use a dedicated automotive window cleaner or water instead. Water removes most dirt and debris quickly and easily, without damaging the interior or exterior of a car.

Taking that extra bit of time to do the job properly will keep your car looking as good as new – not only making it look better as you drive but also potentially making it easier to sell.

Ignoring Unusual Sounds

https://i0.wp.com/autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/unusual-car-sound.jpg?w=600&ssl=1

Strange car noises are often a clue that something is wrong with your car. Therefore, when you hear these unusual sounds from your car, it means there might be a fault with your car. Ignoring those sounds can increase the cost of maintenance or cause expensive damage to the car. Do inspect your car carefully when those noises happen.

Not Using the Parking Brake

https://i0.wp.com/autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Parking-Brake.jpg?w=600&ssl=1

The parking brake locks the wheels on a car. This way it ensures that the car does not roll or move when parked.

It also protects the transmission when the car is parked. Your car is not meant to be held in place by the transmission. That is the job of the parking brake.

Whether you drive a manual or automatic transmission, you should always use your parking brake. Whenever you park the car, apply the parking brake. That is the only way to make sure that the cables do not seize up. If you have not used the parking brakes in a while, do not try using it without having it inspected!

Also, remember to release the parking brake before driving off.

Filling Your Radiator With Water only

Whether you know it as coolant or antifreeze, this product is just an addictive that serve to keep the water in your car from freezing in cold weather and from boiling and overheating in hot weather. Either of these conditions can cause a breakdown and serious damage to your engine.

So, to keep the water in your engine from freezing or boiling overuse an antifreeze/coolant.

Use a 50/50 mix of water and coolant or as recommended.

Business › Re: Cosmas Maduka Coscharis Regrets Investing N1.7billion On Vehicle Assembly Plant by Cmanforall: 2:52pm On Aug 27, 2019
autojosh:
Dr. Cosmas Maduka, the President of Coscharis Group, recently lamented about his decision to invest N1.7billion in an automobile assembly plant in the country.

His lamentation is as a result of the effect of the hesitant implementation of the auto policy in the Nigeria auto industry by the Federal Government.

Maduka is one of Nigeria’s biggest investors in the automotive sector. His company, Coscharis Group, built an auto-assembly plant on a 14-hectare piece of land in Awoyaya area of Lekki-Epe expressway, Lagos. The project is in conjunction with Ford Motor Company.

The plant was inaugurated in October 2017, with an installed capacity for 60 units of vehicles a day.

According to the Coscharis boss, the projections of growth made by his company and other automakers who responded to the policy by building assembly plants – some in collaboration with auto manufacturers from different parts of the world, have been shattered by lack of progress and uncertainties in the industry.

He expressed pessimism about recovering the huge investment he made in the sector in 10 years based on the initial projection of selling 10, 000 vehicles annually. According to him, the current total yearly sales figure has been far below 2,000 cars.

According to the Nnewi-born businessman, he regretted investing more than $50 million {about N1. 7b} in setting up an assembly plant in Lagos.

“Of course, I regret the investment! Why would I not regret the investment? From the benefit of hindsight today, you think it is something that is waste, but at the same time, it is also premature to take a conclusive decision, because, till today, the Federal Government is still hesitant. They {government} have not said a definite ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the auto policy.”, he reportedly said.

He, however, restated his belief in the policy encapsulated in the Nigeria Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP) that, he said, was necessary for a viable local auto-manufacturing sector. The problem, he argued, is in the lukewarm implementation by government.

Cosmas Maduka made his feelings known while assessing the NAIDP which took effect about five years ago on July 1, 2014,  and the delay by the Presidency in assenting to the Fiscal Incentive and Guarantees Bill that would have given it a legal framework.

I believe Coscharis has team of experts in economics and finance. Investing such huge amount of money in an industry doesn't start yielding profits instantly. In fact, it can even take decades for profit to start ripping in. Please Sir, don't lament yet in regrets. It's been only 2years. Hopefully, you'll reap the benefits soon.
