Real MAGA brain rot at display.

Ask the red states where the governors are when they go through disaster. They hop on planes and run away. Newsom has never not been physically present and actively involved whenever Californians need him. That’s who a leader is. Only brain rotted Maga flies hate him. And yet they won’t move to red states like they’re so fond of telling others who don’t like their current leaders to move. Talk about double mouthed hypocrisy.

I’d like to see one of their low IQ governors come and manage California with all of its complexities. See if they can maintain the best economy in America and the 5th highest gdp in the world . Or if there’ll even be enough revenue for us to keep sustaining them in their red shitholes like we’ve been doing. Would love to see them try instead of screaming newscum on the internet like brainless bots,

Gov Newscum has been lying and exaggerating about his fire mitigation process. Billions budgeted for, no projects done.

Democrats have given him $50 million to use in resisting Trump deportation program. Looksnlike they seriously need a new voting block as black voters support continues to dwindle.

Critics on social media have alleged that Mayor Karen Bass cut the city fire department’s budget by $23 million this year. The accusation has spread quickly, with many looking to cast blame for the devastating wildfires that have destroyed thousands of buildings in Los Angeles County this week and resulted in at least 4 deaths.

In her story on criticism’s of Mayor Bass during this crisis, reporter Linh Tat addressed the budget question.

“On Thursday, a spokesperson for L.A. City Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, who was budget chair last year, said the city increased the fire department’s overall budget by approximately $53 million in the current fiscal year. However, $76 million – intended to pay for fire department personnel – was placed in a fund separate from the fire department’s regular account when the budget was adopted because contract negotiations with department employees were still taking place at the time.”

As a result, if you just compare the LAFD’s budget last year to this year’s, it looks like it went down $23M. But that’s because when the budget was adopted last May or June, the city was still negotiating those new contracts. The $76M that was set aside in a separate account ultimately was moved once the MOUs were finalized.

But some news outlets and critics of L.A. Mayor Karen Bass suggested this week that there were cuts to areas of the fire department’s budget.
You really should stop being a parrot who regurgitates the next thing he hears without thought.
If we didn’t know any better , we would think you’re living in California and I’m the one who doesn’t know where it’s even located.
Maybe next time they go for my neighborhood association meeting, I can just skip it and come to you instead for updates since you’re omnipresent and omniscient.

basilico:

Updated . This sums up the California fires.

Unbelievable.
They cut the funding of the firefighters.

LA fire department and other departments are focusing on the wrong things. Once you start prioritizing DEI over competence, things eventually horribly go wrong
California is only 35% white. Which means there’s a huge distribution of other races and ethnicities in the state. If hiring practices are fair, there should be an even distribution of the state’s population in every sector of the state.

Every position doesn’t have to be occupied by white men before you low IQ coons will agree that the occupant is competent. It’s disgusting and embarrassing to hear you people regurgitate white racist propaganda.

When a position occupied by a white person doesn’t do their job perfectly, do you say it’s the result of DEI?
What an absolute shameful lack of critical thinking on your part. Just because you heard someone say it on the internet. All these arm chair analysts sef🙄

Not going to speak to much on foreign politics that I’m not familiar with but it seems these right wingers are just canker wherever they find themselves. Causing division and chaos.

Not surprised
Thousands of protesters gathered in Paris to celebrate the death of French far-right figure Jean-Marie Le Pen.
Demonstrators were seen setting off fireworks and chanting slogans in the capital’s Place de la République on Tuesday. Some brandished placards including “The dirty racist is dead” and “A beautiful day.”
Earlier that day, Le Pen, the founder of France’s right-wing National Front party, died at the age of 96.
Le Pen was a polarising figure in France and was convicted multiple times of antisemitism, discrimination and inciting racial violence.

Similar gatherings took place in other French cities, including Lyon and Marseille.
Senior French officials slammed the “shameful” street celebrations. “Nothing, absolutely nothing justifies dancing on a corpse,” said Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau.
By contrast, left-wing France Unbowed politician Mathilde Panot saw what she called the “spirit of Charlie” in action. Le Pen’s death coincided with the 10th anniversary of a fatal shooting at the Charlie Hebdo satirical newspaper by Islamist militants.
A family funeral for Le Pen is to be held on Saturday in his home town in Brittany. In her first public reaction, his daughter Marine Le Pen called him a “warrior” and said many people were mourning him.

He’s absolutely right. Every natural disaster is an opportunity for Maga to begin their divisive rhetoric. Even when it happens in their states, they lie that they are not getting any help, that fema never came, that the money is being given to immigrants, they lead their followers astray. Some of them are led into not accepting help that comes their way due to gross misinformation. MAGA is a mental illness.

A whole president-elect is on the internet yelling Newscum on his social media handle to his lobotomized supporters while other leaders are showing support.

That bill, would be nice to know how many pages it was and how many touched on the FEMA funding.
If you knew a bottle of cyanide had been emptied into the newly renamed Gulf of America, would you go swimming there?
I’m assuming they’re lawmakers too and know how to introduce bills of their own. If they found the bill had stuff they didn’t like, they could maybe just maybe introduce their own bill that funded fema without any of the other stuff the they didn’t like? 🙄

Do you know they consistently vote against any sort of emergency preparedness bill, pandemic relief measures etc. one of the things Trump did in office was to dissolve/reshuffle the unit Obama set up to look into pandemics. there wasn’t a pandemic at the time so of course he thought they weren’t important.

Typical of a short sighted bloated ego maniac like him who doesn’t listen to anyone. He basically destroyed the unit and never followed the pandemic playbook left to him by Obama. The same playbook that was used to control Ebola. Of course when shit hit the fan, he lied that Obama never left him anything to handle pandemics.

Just as all of them are voting against fema. But when shit hits the fan, they go on their social media to lie to their low IQ followers about how the previous administration never left anything to help them fight. Just a bunch of compunctionless bare faced liars.

Trump couldn't because he was challenged at every point by civil society including in his own party and in his own Government . Make no mistake he requested it from all of them from Bill Barr to Comey to Ukraine who he asked to investigate Biden.

Now he has absolute power, he will unscrupulously wreck anyone he sees fit.

Democrats didn't do anything they said Trump will do. You're starting to sound like the deranged people. Even Republicans (of which you were one) opposed Trump and any decent person even in his own party will fight against that criminal abomination to their party and civil society and they did. When your own party establishment are the ones against you and you keep saying "they're out to get me", that's because you are the problem. Bush is your problem, Cheneys are your problem. McConnell, McCain and Romney are out to get you, that's because you are an unscrupulous criminal and everyone agrees, even your side. There is a no witchunt if you are an actual witch.

The only reason he has been saved from facing real accountability was to prevent a civil war and because Republicans were scared of getting primaried by his deranged fan base. Everything from tax fraud to perjury to hush money to attempted election fraud in Georgia, to organising fake electors, to insurrection, to engaging a foreign state to prosecute his opponents is on his record, and any single one of these will take down any decent President like it did to Nixon.

Trump 4 years was not more prosperous than anything before, he just caught the tail end of the low interest rate environment and The Fed QE balance sheet response to the great recession of 2008 that pumped equities. If Trump was in power 2020 to 2024, Republicans will be booted out like any other incumbent unlucky enough to be in power for the post pandemic economic shivers.
They know this. That “whole but Americans chose him because he’s wonderful” is a way to avoid addressing the ugliness that he is and they know he is. And of course denialism of the underlying ‘isms’ why his opponent was unacceptable to them. We’re not kids.

I couldn’t wrap my head around what anyone stood to gain from spreading the vaccine misinformation. Just unfounded dribble.

Vaccines are truly victims of their own successes. Imagine if every antivaxxer saw for themselves the true state of a country without herd immunity. Unfortunately we can’t be spared such consequences alongside them. That’s why it seems like we’re screaming into the void.

They’re alive and strong so they have the voice to shit on the scientists and researchers.

Ibime:
That speaks more about the nature of who is in power and how democratic/autocratic they will be.

Biden didn't kill Musk, they could have crippled him with various infractions he has committed before the Security and Exchange Commission. But Trump and the Republican establishment will absolutely crush in this 2nd term. Zuck recognises an unscrupulous autocrat when he sees one, and he has bent the knee.

There is nothing scandalous in the claims he made except he is trying to suck up to the mad people on the Republican side. I will be proud as a health official to say I censored information that discouraged people from getting vaccinated. Only in Trumpanzeeland is that a crime. Every country and health ministry worth its salt fought against anything that would discourage their citizens from being vaccinated and achieving herd immunity.

And so begin (or continues) the blatant bold faced lies.

@Thanks Joe for leaving no money in fema” meanwhile here’s a list of every single representative and lawmaker in your party who voted against fema funding. Note that democrats all voted in favor of funding for fema.

He knows he can only appeal to people who facts mean nothing to. That’s why he does stuff like this. He’ll throw out contradictions, lies, exaggerations then sit back and watch them come to justify and defend him.

There should be laws and strict enforcement against insurance companies who collect your money for years with the promise of peace of mind and faith in the future based on trust that you placed in them only to cut you off when it starts to look like you might need the coverage you’ve been paying years maybe even decades into.

Because the tune they sing when trying to sell you the policy is obviously not the same as the tune they use when you make a claim.

Before anyone tries to quote me to argue, yes people are forced into these policies per govt regulations. In most cases, you can’t buy a home unless you have insurance. So consumers had no choice but to buy insurance. With the companies fully having no intentions of ever paying out. A racket if I ever saw one.

Your rights end where another person’s starts.
I don’t know if you’re trying to play the devils advocate. But under no circumstance should someone allowed to molest children because their holy book tells them it’s okay.

Obviously this is not an excuse to carry out system religious discrimination against persons who haven’t been found guilty of any misbehavior. But those who are guilty have to pay.

But you can’t simply expect the govt not to do anything because the perpetrator’s religion allows it. If so, we can all create our own religions claiming it allows us to harm others and just expect no consequences

Ojuntana:
It is usually hard to judge these kind of cases with religion as the base

Their prophet married a 6 year old girl and raped her at 9

He kept sex slaves and encouraged his followers to do same

They are simply following the dictates of their religion

In a society that upholds freedom of religion, how do you prosecute a man for following the examples of his prophet?
Isn't that religious persecution?

P/S. I know so little about these matters.
Yet here you are. Typing dissertations on the issues you know little of. Who does that?

If you stopped to understand it before talking about it, you’d know that Biden included more people in the benefits (an overall good thing) while Trump’s plan of not taxing the benefit will effectively gut the program in a shorter timeframe than it would’ve originally ran out. The taxes on it is a source of revenue for the program. Under the current tax plan, everyone pays into this program until they hit ~176,000 annual income.

Which means most Americans pay into it all year long. While the billionaires who are getting rich from tax payer funded tax breaks still pay unit they hit the ~176k margin and they stop paying. So effectively, by 1st of January they’re don’t paying into these benefits. While the rest of the country still pays. A vital source of funding for the programs is lost because billionaires are not held to a fair share of their contributions.

Trump just opens mouth waah. No substance. And y’all swallow it hook line and sinker.
