descarado:I see. Must have been someone else then. I’ve not tried this makgoeli. Thanks for the forewarning though. I’ll be prepared if I ever feel like giving it a try. |
basilico:Right. And this post proves that Buda supports rapists? If I tell you that you’re promoting hate against an entire group of people because some of them were found guilty of abusing kids, does that mean that I support those abusing kids? Or am I really asking you to criticize specifically the culprits without painting everyone in the group with the same brush? |
basilico:If you say so. Well if and when I see that, I’ll call it out. |
bemeruca:Well are the parents doing that or not? A few of my older church ladies are fond of running around with online videos of pedophilic books in schools without any form of verification. Schools put books that promote having sex with older people. The books are for kids under the age of 18 but have the content of a kid having sex with an adult and describing how good it was.I had an older lady friend who was sharing this misinformation online. At the time we lived in the same neighborhood so of course I went to my kid’s school to see what was going on. No such thing. This lady had a grandkid who was a teenager at the time. He also told her no such thing was going on at their school as well. But her mind was made up and she kept on sharing those false Facebook posts stating specifically that our school district was doing this. It’s almost like people with agenda will lie to enrage others to garner support for their agenda. What’s the title of the pedophilic book you’re talking about and what school district was promoting it? If you make excuses for those who put such books in the hands of kids while attacking those complaining then you are making excuses for groomers and pedos.Of course. But only if it’s the truth. In one example, A parent complained about the book Sleeping Beauty. You know the very old story where a maiden was sleeping a cursed sleep in the forest and was awakened by a kiss? Yes that ancient story that everyone and their kid has read in America. She said the maiden was most likely young and the prince kissing her awake could have been an older gentleman. The ages weren’t clarified but it gave an impression that the maiden was a very young lady. Therefore it promotes pedophilia. And you know what, based on technicality, she was right but are the people who put sleeping beauty storybooks in children’s libraries guilty of supporting pedophilia? That’s the intentional misinformation I’m talking about. There are so many other examples. This link here describes how one such misconception of schools promoting pedophilia got such huge traction even made it to Fox News (of course 🙄) only for the parent who started it to finally admit she “made a mistake but would still do it again”. https://www.texarkanagazette.com/news/2022/dec/24/a-mom-wrongly-said-the-book-showed-pedophilia/ People will get hung up on stuff like that and then go vote a man who walks into teenage dressing rooms in the beauty pageant he owns. One could say he owns the pageants so he can stare at half naked teenagers at will. Y’all need to be serious pls. |
basilico:None of this is relevant to the topic of me asking where buda supported rapists. You went and veered off into LGBTQ territory again and it has nothing to do with supporting pedophiles. You said that’s your opinion and I say you’re wrong. If we want to have a scathing conversation about genders every time a child gets molested, then, it would be illegal to be straight. Since we’re the ones actually responsible for the millions of sexual assaults that children go through everyday. Why have you never questioned or condemned yourself for the sexual abuse other straight people mete out to kids? Is it because you understand that your shared gender identity with other straight people doesn’t mean that if they’re pedos then you’re one too? If you can come to such an easy conclusion when it pertains to yourself, you should also be able to see how people in the rainbow community are not all child predators. They have just as many sexual predators among them as we do. And their crimes are not more heinous than ours. All child abusers deserve the worst regardless of gender identity. You guys are trying to blur a line here and that’s what I called out. Other than that, I’m ready to discuss other stuff. For real though I want to express my gratitude that we the straights are not oppressed. Imagine my straightness being attacked and vilified every time another straight person somewhere that I don’t even know assaults a kid. What a stressful life that would be. I’m sure you guys can’t even fathom that being your reality but you have no problem putting others through it with this reaching and intentional misinformation. |
bemeruca:And like I was saying, seems like you were intentionally obfuscating issues. bemeruca:It’s obvious that when people who don’t support LGBTQ rights don’t have anything else to say, they resort to trying to paint the whole group as pedophiles. Actively ignoring all the millions of incidents where straight people sexually assaulted kids. It’s almost like I already pointed out that you guys use faux concern for kids to push your agenda. So of course it’s not just you. I really thought you had real examples of their support for rapists to show me. But instead it’s just another unfounded conclusion drawn from faulty premises. Pls be serious and don’t dilute the meaning of pedophilia. |
descarado:Oh I see. I’ve sometimes used rice wine vinegar or mirin for cooking. Not drinking. Mirin’s actually a tad bit sweet. I don’t think it’ll taste the same as makgoeli. Unless you’re referring to saké? Which I’ve had probably not more than 2-3x. It’s okay. Not terrible. |
bemeruca:Yes that’s the one I’m talking about. downplayed in the same way I said statutory rape is not the same as aggravated sexual assault. Both of which are bad, illegal and will land the perp on the list. However one might get the perp a longer jail sentence because of the violent nature. I feel you purposely misconstrued that. I still stand to be corrected. As you’ve sent me to do my own digging. Okay. It is not new, he has a track record of supporting groomers. Kids that are groomed end up having sex with adults.I’ll let you know when I find out because as of now I saw nothing except that post I was referring to earlier. Another thing, budaatum is like a snake, he flip-flops all the time.Okay but Let’s not digress pls. As far I know republicans want parents to make the final decision on that issue. And buda has said they’re personally not for it but will let the parents in the situation make the call. Am I reading this wrong? Where’s the support you speak of? It’s clear as day.

radautoworks: 9JAMac10: omooba969: ednut1:Una well done. Merry Christmas to you all. Thanks for blessing our eyes with sumptuous delicacies. |
descarado:I’ve not tried it but it doesn’t sound appealing at all. I’ll rather eat some yoghurt, sauerkraut, get my alcohol from sweet wine if I feel like it and call it a day.😃 Merry Christmas to you as well🎄 |
bemeruca:I am willing to retract my statement and apologize if you show me the post that buda supported rapists. This is a huge deal breaker for me. It doesn’t matter who it is. I will disown family members over such behavior. So don’t think I’ll be biased because we’ve agreed on different topics in the past. The post I saw where you said buda supported child molester was something similar to the post I made above where I said there’s a difference between aggravated sexual assault and what Matt Gaetz did. I’m obviously disgusted by both but I’m remaining objective enough to say that it’s not the same. At least for the purpose of definition and application of the law, we need to be clear about that. Doesn’t mean I’ll ever tolerate or excuse such behavior. If someone were looking to have a gotcha moment at me, they could easily misinterpret that part of my post and start saying all over the forum that I support child abusers. That’s what I saw you doing and that’s why said you were being mischievous. Now if there’s a post where buda frankly or candidly supported child abusers, show it to me and I’ll retract my statement and apologize. |
Stolen:I support this sentence they got. They deserved it and more. Do you support that grown adults who sexually abuse children deserve these kinds of sentences or even worse? Last time I checked you were a full blown justifier/apologist in cases of grown adult sexually abusing kids. You called it natural order or something like that. And you said that age of consent is a western invention that is ruining African culture. The African “culture” of pedophilia. Is that what you meant? Because my side of Africa doesn’t support pedos in any form. What’s the difference this time? Because they’re gay? All children deserve protection from lustful depraved adults. Including female children not just boys. Pls Be better and do better. Merry Christmas |
bemeruca:You know you’re being facetious. It’s like someone reading this comment I made The gravity of what Matt Gaetz did is not as dire as someone who kidnapped an unwilling child and forced them into sexual acts they didn’t want. It might not even be illegal depending on location.and claiming I support rapists. Knowing very well what’s being said is way different than the meaning you chose to get from it. That intentional misinterpretation is why it’s so difficult to have a conversation Oh well. |
Do you think she did it because she wants to be a sex object or because of the lucrative nature of the job? You think she’d be doing it for free? A man would do this too if he could make that much money. No one loves money more than you guys. Just shush. Namaster: |

LordAdam16:I am willing to suss out the answer and can’t deduce its simply as a result of gray areas. This is why I didn’t want to use specific cases as examples because each case is going to have what makes it different or more heinous than the other, thereby murky up the conversation as a whole. The gravity of what Matt did is not as dire as someone who kidnapped an unwilling child and forced them into sexual acts they didn’t want. It might not even be illegal depending on location. Those gray areas help people who are for him to use age-of-consent being different in different states or the willingness of the child to make him not such a bad person. But the crux of the issue is, why are they not outrightly disgusted by him instead of finding ways to tell us it wasn’t that bad. Like we know there are levels to it. But why is a technicality the hill they were willing to die on to side with that kind of a morally questionable man? Your side famously does not care about getting into the weeds. This is not true pls. Let’s not conflate someone being canceled online with the actual justice system. There’s always an investigation and of course consequences based on said investigation. The thing you call “asking questions” is exactly what the justice system does when it’s doing the investigation. (We can talk about certain evils of the justice system at a different time) But your side calls the investigations witch-hunts. And that’s where the divide comes. The questions y’all often ask is not because you want to get to the truth. It’s usually victim blaming in nature. Almost like they want to prove at all costs that the accuser is lying. Which in itself is part of the problem. Because it creates an atmosphere where victims can’t come forward. MAGA and the broader conservative camp has iced out personalities before.Maybe in the past I’d believe this. Not in today’s climate though. Anything goes in the MAGA world it seems. And that’s why people of those proclivities tend to join your camps. Something tells them they’ll get away with it over there. Happy holidays!Thank you. And same to you. Very Merry Christmas 🎄🎁. It’s my favorite time of the year hands down. |
budaatum:I love this take because that’s exactly what Jesus presented in his message about people holding hard and fast onto religious traditions. |
basilico:I don’t disagree with these reasons. Add internet access too.Internet access shouldn’t challenge faith that is based on truth. Internet access makes access to Information easier. True faith should be able to stand the test of more information. Unless what we’re teaching crumbles in the face of knowledge. Disillusionment in life also a big factor.right. But what’s causing the disillusionment? Clergy actions and the cover up of those who were supposed to be their protectors. The words and actions are not matching up for these kids in their formative years. So they grow up disillusioned by the phony and hypocrisy of it all. |
basilico:Bro pls 🙄 Ask yourself why the churches are facing dwindling membership. You guys know kids grow up right? |
budaatum:And they should. As a matter of urgency. The greatest loss of the church are the kids who no one protected and they grew up into scornful adults who don’t believe in the sincerity of the teachings of the church. The recommendations of the review will apply to all religious organisations, including Islam, Hindu etc, and anywhere else of similar child-adult structure.I agree. I usually don’t speak on other religions because I’ve never been in one or learned their doctrine. But it doesn’t take a genius to know that if these things are happening in Christianity, there’s no way other religions are exempt. We even see examples in the child marriages muslims perform. But most of them are choosing to remain silent and complicit. Disgusting. |
basilico:I must say you do not know the far right of which you speak. I would prefer every paedo regardless of political affiliation or religion to be emasculated in public using the burdizzo that castrates bulls. The maile member should be fed to wild dogsglad to hear that’s your personal opinion. But it doesn’t align with the far right. Might need to reevaluate the overlap of your views and far right extremism. |
This doesn’t even make sense |
budaatum:Isn’t amazing that you can say that and we can agree. Because we all agree that sexually abusing children is such a low depraved thing to do regardless of who the culprit is. But let it be someone they support and all of a sudden it’s shifting goal posts and meandering around the truth. |
LordAdam16:I’m assuming you mean the Catholic priests who have been found to sexually abuse children? ( No innate bias here as I grew up Catholic. Many of my fond childhood memories were made in the church. I was even in juniorate to become a nun at some point in my life. Long story .)To answer your question, I don’t know how many conservatives defend those priests. For those of them who do, shame on them. However, I know a lot of conservatives do defend predatory evangelical pastors. Shame on all of them too. It grinds my gears when people want to “care about kids” as a front for their agenda instead of truly caring about kids. So many of these churches do not ostracize the ministers found wanting. They hide, cover up, transfer and sometimes outrightly support them. If only they could be about the life they claim to be about. |
Your mom should have made better choices. And why are you not your father’s responsibility? Why are you looking at your step siblings for help? I’m glad they’re doing well after everything your father put them through Curtis03360: |
chelseamann:This is how I like to eat. A little bit of everything. |
basilico:They deserve the 100 years in jail. They actually deserve more in my opinion. I loathe child sex abusers. They deserve to rot under the prison. Can you ( or a Republican) say the same when someone you think belongs to your party, team or ideology does the same? Or will it be another cry about how it’s a witch hunt and set up. I’m not asking you right now to say it about any person you can think of who’s been accused of the same. Because obviously you’ll come up with excuses about why it’s not true and they didn’t do it. I’m asking you if in a hypothetical situation a person who you think belongs to the republican side is found to have sexually abused kids, do you agree they deserve the same sentence? It’s truly a yes or no question. No long tales needed |
tensazangetsu20:will be standing outside your door with my plate in hand. Might even play a little music while I wait |
He is now a mad person. He is at Ibara prison. He developed mental issues when we were tortured at the police station in Okuku and by the officers of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad. I am just lucky, and I believe God’s grace is over me.Not surprising. No normal person can go through what the police puts people through and not have some sort of mental breakdown. It’s unfortunate this young man has a severe form of it. How truly heartbreaking |
Holiday themed lemon cake for husband colleagues. I know most grown ups don’t like icing so I kept it simple with a lemon glaze and simple decor.
|
budaatum:It was definitely condescending. Sometimes I just wanna give people grace that maybe they don’t realize how they’re coming across. Especially with long posts back to back and somewhat heated exchanges in between. Personalities can get muddied. And I hope that was the case with him. I applaud you for constraining yourself. |
So the plight of the African American community today has absolutely nothing to do with the war on drugs that oversaw the pumping of crack into black communities, the over policing and subsequent incarceration of black fathers for crimes that white fathers got a pat on the back for? The massacre of multiple successful black communities and looting of their properties? They were told to develop themselves and when they did, their communities got burnt to the ground. Nope. If we let republican propaganda tell it, it’s all because of govt aid. Since there’s data to show that white families are also dependent on govt aid, why hasn’t the same fate befallen them? If student loans are what caused the rise in college tuition? I’m assuming you’re blaming all inflation on govt aid then? Food cost, housing cost, transportation etc. all have increased since the last time you paid for your college education. Was every hike in price a direct consequence of govt aid? If you say yes, I disagree. No explanation needed. That being said, Correlation is not causation Mr Okehie. IbeOkehie:
