Why are they young and uneducated?

Is it because y’all promote early marriage over advanced education especially for girls? Foolishness is doing something the same way over and over again and expecting different results

What is the origin of this story. What did your mum do to her. Cos it seems like you started this story from where your side doesn’t have any blame as people are won’t to do when reporting cases.
Can we hear your aunt’s side?.

She should keep the same energy

I can’t imagine doing such to my sibling.

There has to be a backstory.

That is how they do. Especially when you didn't become the prostitute or drug addict they were hoping you will become. I have an aunty on this table. Very wicked with a Pharaoh husband. The second I smiled with them, they wanted to kill me with billing. Both her, her husband and kids would call me for anything. I am the only one they have access to as my siblings locked up. Naso I see say the forgiveness no benefit me, I ran o. Now we greet from afar. Which is the highest I can advise his sister to do. Never let her guards down.

Illiterate nurse. Why would she be blamed for causing the death, when an autopsy could clear up the cause of death?

The parents need to be questioned, why would they bring in a dead baby for an injection?
She would have been cooling off in jail while waiting for the autopsy. That’s even if anyone would be willing to pay for the autopsy. She might have had to pay for it herself to clear her name. And that’s a best case scenario

Worse case scenario, she could’ve been treated to jungle justice as a “baby killer”. Beaten and burned alive. People have been killed for accidents they didn’t mean to commit. Killed for stealing bread.

I truly understand her behavior even though I don’t condone the unprofessional conduct, it’s totally understandable

Why did the parents bring in a dead baby? Maybe they did something to the baby at home and are trying to cover their tracks. Because how can you not see that your baby is dead?
Health › Re: Nurse Rolls On Floor In Thanksgiving After Nearly Injecting Dead Baby (photos) by cococandy(f): 3:22pm On Aug 16, 2024
I agree it’s unprofessional but that’s the environment she’s operating from and as such her overwhelming relief to not be unfairly implicated in this is enough to make her forget professionalism.

Your last question should be directed at your parents.

Tell the greedy doctors to go and train in USA and earn big money in USA. Nigeria's resources should not be used to train them for almost free and after training, they run to USA. Let them go and be trained in USA where they pay lots of dollars for training, they can thereafter work there and earn lots of dollars.
With your logic no one trained in Nigeria should be allowed to migrate since they have the potential to earn better than their Nigerian counterparts in the same field who paid the same “cheap fees” like they did.

So you found a $90 hotel on Expedia and even some for around $100. But instead of admitting you have been wrong, you shifted the goalposts to $50?

What do y’all get out of being unnecessarily argumentative?

Now that you searched and found hotels for between $90-$100 imagine how much cheaper it would have been 13 years ago that he was speaking of.

That’s what I said in the 1st post you were trying to counter.

I bet people wake up and tell you good morning but you starts arguing with them about how it’s not morning yet grin

Hotels in NYC are not that cheap, except you're settling for the Bronx or outskirts, what app/website is this? The first hotel is €153 on booking.com
Is the Bronx or outskirts not better than that box he’s in?

Obviously the average hotel is not that cheap but for someone desperate like him, he could have found something better than that for a few dollars more. Which is literally my point and y’all are just arguing pointlessly. What website is that?
There are many websites. Just choose the one you want to book with.

Fiction is something outside what REGULARLY obtains, NOT people who'd rather get peanuts than leave a room empty. You gave example of going on vacation - how much you'll expect to pay for a regular hotel room in NYC. If you tell anyone you're budgeting $50 a night, they'll tell you good luck with that!
Below is what REGULARLY obtains
If I’m on vacation, I expect to spend really well on a good hotel. 5 star preferably. 4 star if they’re known to be a nice boutique or design edition hotel.

But that’s not the case for him though is it?
He’s just looking for where to sleep so instead of a box, a cheap hotel could have served the purpose.

Also remember the beginning of my post I said he could have found something between $70-$100 to just have a bed and shower (nothing fancy or vacation level) for the whole day. But would’ve been better than a $80 box for 8 hours. Which is actually common sense but you had to argue.

I feel like you started to argue because you felt the need to be correct. I’m still showing you as I’m booking it on my phone and you just can’t help but argue. Na wa. Una really get wahala for this forum 🤭

You now being ridiculous. People on ground are telling you what obtains and you prefer fiction. See below
What do you mean by people on ground. On ground where? I’m literally booking it right now on my phone and you’re calling it fiction?

What’s your definition of fiction?
This is not Lagos where someone will take your money and then tell you it’s not available.

Any hotel you book on the hotel website here is legit.
Pls I don’t have energy for argument pls. Some of you thrive on baseless arguments.

You’re giving me average . Of course there are hotels that cost over thousands of dollars per night. I know this on a personal level. So the average means nothing. I’m also telling you it’s possible to find a cheap place for around $70-$100. No reason for the argument.

So can you in Lagos. So book hotel for $38 in NY or $4 in Lagos and come show us
1) Were we talking about $38? I did a screenshot to show that the price he said he paid years ago $80 can cover hotel as at today much less then many years ago.

2) Why would I book hotel I’m not trying to stay in?

3) I usually don’t stay in cheap hotels out of principle. Because hotel to me means I’m on vacation or traveling for leisure so I’ve to stay in a great place. Therefore I’m not booking a cheap hotel to prove anything to you.

I won’t doubt You guys but seeing as this supposedly happened many years ago, I’m sure bad as e bad, he could’ve gotten a place for slightly higher than that for the full 24 hours a day.

Anyway I won’t call him a liar. I just think he got taken advantage of and he’s claiming that’s how it is for everyone

rinzaugustine:
Your search might be just NY but narrow it down to the city and the prices will shock you…Queens, Bronx and all those areas frequented by tourists are usually very expensive when you book at short notice. There was a time I booked for short notice in DC and couldn’t find anywhere less than $200 and when you add the hidden charges and taxes it will push it close to $250 at time of payment and and I have encountered it many times even in Minneapolis that’s famed to be cheap so the secret to cheaper bookings is in planning your trip early way ahead of time
DaddyCoool:
Same way, google hotels in Naija you'd see 5K, then go there and they'd tell you the one u saw online is not available and that the only available is triple that price!
But here you can book online. You have the opportunity to see what’s available and pre book it. Nothing like going there and they’ll tell you it’s not available

That is it right there! undecided
I’m googling cheap hotels in New York as we speak and their are some for $70-$100 dollars

I’m sure he’d have at least a full bed and somewhere to shower in such cheap hotels. Maybe even breakfast.

I don’t doubt that he slept in such conditions but saying he paid $80/8 hours seems rather silly. Maybe he wasn’t wise at all. He let himself get fleeced
Travel › Re: Us-based Nigerian Man Shows Sleeping 'box' Costing $80/8hrs by cococandy(f): 10:03pm On Aug 15, 2024
There are dirt cheap hotels that cost that much per day as at now. Much less many years ago. Meaning he could have gotten hotels for that price or less for 24 hours since this supposedly happened years ago.

Na him wan stay New York. In fact even in New York he could have gotten hotels at that price for 24 hours instead of 8 hours and stay the whole day. plus some will serve you breakfast.

Pls shut up abeg.
