Breakfast: Just coffee

Breakfast 2:
Toast bread, avocado, lettuce, mayonnaise, salmon and coffee.
not for me,for a colleague that came visiting. Didnt know how to tell her, "wait a minute, can I take a snapshot of the food first..". So I just took it quietly while she ate.
Did you do the coffee art yourself?

I love it

Everyone here should take a note of what she was wearing. Not suggestive in any way. Just plain regular clothes.
They won’t note that because it’ll go against their woman hate that they like to pretend is about accountability and responsibility

I detest rapists, gays, feminists and simps. If I have my way I'll move all of them closer to the sun.
You can’t even get yourself to condemn a disgusting human being who’s a man without trying to rope other people who you actually really hate into it.

They refuse to admit they’re the problem.

Home and abroad women are not treating them well.
Only them.
How come white men are evil as they are, are not renowned for littering their communities with fatherless children?
Tightpussy2024:
It's the devil and the deep blue sea for them. grin

Choose naija women and endure billing or choose a white lady that will not bill you but can't tolerate your excesses.

During their early days as a broke immigrant, they need the white ladies,to help them establish, then when money comes, they go back home to pick naija women

Tallesty1:
How many Nigerians take home 30k monthly after deducting accommodation, transport fare, food, electricity bill, water, and other benefits a live-in maid enjoys from their salary?
That’s why a lot of people realistically can’t afford maids. They themselves are underpaid and they want to be employers on top of it

With the current exchange rate, The doctors are definitely making way more than that and I’d be a fool to be a doctor and remain in Nigeria.

sonnie10:
It will become a racket. Did you know that almost all doctors make more than 10 million naira equivalent a month in the US. Do you think those Nigeria trained doctors will not find someone to off set the debt for them to pay back double?
I guess is that only the children of the poor will be left behind. The rich can pay back any amount.

No they work in the USA because it’s the highest paying for healthcare workers

Yall clowns are amusing I swear.
malali:
Nigeria is being exploited by UK,USA and Canada by poaching their best healthcare workers.

They let Nigeria train them(for relatively free) only for them to hire them for peanuts into their own system.

How does the USA,UK and Canada prevent this happening to them ?

They saddle all graduates with huge loans.......give or take 350 thousand dollars.

So that when you graduate, you will be forced to work in the USA, if you desire to pay back that loan.

If you decide to go work somewhere else, you will never be able to pay back that loan.(They devalue the currency of the home country)

If Nigerian government wants to stop this, they need to saddle all those courses that are high brain-drain prone with huge loans.

Give every doctor a 10 million Naira loan, payable only to his tuition and then give them a job where 1 million Naira is forgiven every year or 500k every year. Only award them certificates as doctors after the loans are paid in full or on completion of a mandatory 10 years of working in a government hospital. Salaries have to be competitive and realistic. No doctor should earn less than a senator.

This will deter a lot of health workers from going abroad the next day after graduating.

Do you know how evil these foreigners are to Nigerians once you fail to give them the money they DEMAND?. They can send you to jail or have their stupid and lazy man frame or kill you. She’s definitely acting more sensibly than the whole adult male who fathered her.

You’re so close to the point 🤏🏾
So close.

But we know in y’all’s worlds adult men are never responsible for what happens in their lives, if they’re not being trapped by pregnancy, they are being forced into marriage or someone else is keeping them from their kids. They were pushed into streets by their partners or the relationship they couldn’t cultivate with their kids is because someone else is turning the kids from them.

They never have or show any initiative.

I’m glad the little girl is showing him how it’s done. Showing him he can actually do stuff if he means to. Maybe he’ll learn something from her. Maybe you too can

But he’s claiming he’s being prevented from reaching out to her. And you believed it like the dumb nitwit you are.

Well If you don’t want it to go dirty, don’t start with the name calling and personal attacks or you’ll get it back in good measure. Stick to the topic.

Exactly what I thought

18 year old baby can reach out but he can’t?

Story for the Gods. Hopefully baby girl won’t experience another heartbreak when she finds out what he’s truly like. Or he might pretend to be changed for now to get something out of her.

1Sharon:
Typical excuse of deadbeat fathers. It's like you all read from the same script.

How comes the same mother wasn't able to stop the child from finding her father? Why was the daughter successful at connecting, but he wasn't? The man never wanted to be found, now who truly lacks accountability?
Family › Re: 18-Year-Old Filipino Girl Looking For Her Nigerian Father (Photos) by cococandy(f): 10:54pm On Aug 13, 2024
Meaning they expect the faithfulness you guys promised in the beginning but as usual most of you can’t commit. Always playing games.

Pretty sure that is what happened in this one’s case. He probably had a wife back home but sold lies to the baby mom. And when pregnancy happened he dipped. Now of course we’ll hear the mom prevented him from seeing the child. Do they have any other script?

If he wanted to be present, she wouldn’t be looking for him online
99thEnemy:
I’ve never dated a Filipina. My girlfriend was Nepali, also a foreigner.

I learned from the experiences of some of our Nigerian guys while I was there.

Three guys I know faced serious trouble from their baby mamas, but I would say they were partly responsible for the severe drama that nearly cost two of them their lives or freedom.

If a Filipina’s genuine love turns to real hate, only the Lord might be your strength and shield against the planned misfortune they might have in store for you.

They are extremely possessive of whom they love.

Your friend must be treating the lady very well. smiley

Left to me, anyone who can’t afford to pay 70k (not the ones who are too stingy to pay it) but the those who genuinely don’t have it to pay, can’t afford a maid.
It’s that simple.
Every employer should be able to afford the federally mandated minimum wage or they can’t afford to have employees. Na dem wan live big man life on top another person’s sweat.

And like you said the maid is likely to be overused for other duties not related to being a maid. Might as well pay them a livable wage at the minimum. But who’s going to regulate it?
pocohantas:
You have spoken well. But even state governments say they don't have 70k to pay. Many people with these maids do not have 70k to spare a month. The ones that do can decide to pay less out of wickedness or for reasons they consider valid.

I don't like the idea of a live-in maid. I prefer she has a resumption and closing time.

Also a maid is different from a nanny.
A nanny is one skilled to handle kids.
A maid is for house chores and errands.

Nigerians muddle both of them up. Same way they send their Personal Assistants to buy okpa and coke.

I saw some women saying they don't allow their maids go to their villages during Christmas because they end up not coming back. I want to believe these maids are minors or they are not being treated well hence the fear of them absconding. You don't try to control a grown woman like that na. Are you not bothered she doesn't have a life outside you?

My friend relocated and her maid, a 26yrs old lady wanted to follow them. I say haba!! Nne is there something else you want to tell us? 😂

I wanted a snack plate for dinner.

Goat cheese, olives, figs, cured meats, artichoke heart and cream cheese dip etc etc.

Family › Re: Man Reveals What He Would Do If Paid N30,000 As A Live-in Maid by cococandy(f): 10:03pm On Aug 13, 2024
I feel uninformed to comment realistically on this but I think the person saying 100k is closer to the amount I’d consider fair. Just based on everything that’s been going on with inflation and all that.

But apart from the money aspect, I believe it’s important to outline what is involved in this role. Live-in maid sounds like a slippery slope to slavery where all your 24 hours is dedicated to the employer just because you live there. I can’t even imagine living at work because that’s what it is grin

Ideally, there should be a daily start and stop time. Uninterrupted breaks & meal times. Personal days akin to weekends that are not being used to serve the employer even though it’s a live-in situation, vacation days for travel away from the employer. etc
The same way we don’t work 24/7, we shouldn’t expect a live-in maid to work round the clock.

I believe this makes sense but I’m open to reasonable counter opinions
