Gcam can only work on Snapdragon devices
Infinix note 5 is MTK

Gcam also needs cam2api to be enabled on devices before it can work.

It means your friend's phone consumes more current when it's ON than its conserves/retains when it is being charged.

This should answer some critical questions about the sun and its interference with space weather, satellites and a whole lot of other stuffs we can't explain about the sun
