It's why Pep hardly lose possession, it's how he defends, and it's no surprise that City are playing with that same style

And you need fit players yo achieve this. Players that are ready to run for 90mins non stop.

I Dont want unnecessary argument but if you yourself list midfielders that are truly as good and skillfully as pogba and even better you would realise that he really needs to do still improve on keeping it simple.

The difference is that pogba tries to do too much and loses the ball with even getting a freekick, most other midfielder with his skill set will at least draw a freekick.

Oga as per keeping it simple, Pogba has really improved but there are still some annoying things that he does that would have been easier if he just passes the ball to a colleague that was obviously available instead of trying to do agidi in holding the ball especially in tight corners.

With Lukaku, the intensity might not be the same. It would mean one less player in the quick build up play and ball forward drives. He wouldn't also score any of the goals we scored because of the range and shooting skill needed.

The team is playing with great spirit and intensity. This is just what we need to see from the team from the kick off whistle. They can do it if the manager beats it into their head. I don't see the call for overhaul as necessary, we just need the intensity and determination to win the first and second balls, then attack without fear.

it will erase a lot of what we argue about here about hold up play by Lukaku because with intensity he would be in the box most of the time to do what he is expected to do.

The players need to believe that they can take on anyone and work towards it.
