wetin Herrera wan come do.
The other day company had a problem and pep brought in Gabriel, an attacker for a defender because he needed a goal.
Now I dey see Herrera warming up. it will not increase our attack or help our defence regardless of who is substituted. |

patrickmuf: I'm only trying to disprove the fact that Pep met more quality thus it is easier for him so if you're doing any comparison, it's what Pep met vs what Mou met... Smalling is not world class but over a season, I will take him over Kompany. I'll still have Young over Delph Valencia is a RB remember, not RW, he'd be doing much better if he had a proper RW in front of him and to be honest he is among the best in the division. De Gea is world class. Mata though not as good as Silva can do at least 80% of what Silva does under the right system (His numbers at Chelsea are a pointer). I agree with this. All this Pep met more quality than Mourinho argument no make sense at all. E don tey wey market don dey spoil, so how did Ranieri win the league with the Leicester team. we have enough quality in that team to compete for the title this season, maybe we would still be behind city because their form has been exceptional but we have been playing some very bad football. I hold both players and coach but Mourinho is responsible 80% for our performance. To think that we are still 2nd is what actually amazes me, and that is seriously under threat. we are too far below to even hear the noise from our noisy neighbours. SMH |

elampiro: You cannot be at same level with a team that has won 29, drew 1 and lost nil.
Manchester City are playing the football of their life. Admit they are better and get over it. Even if you bring Zidane or another Guardiola to manage United, we wont be at City's level. Their success has been coming, now it has arrived. But they can't remain at the level for too long.
The truth be told, there was a time Ferguson failed to invest in this team. Scholes, Giggs, Carrick, Ferdinand, Vidic were calling for replacement, but nothing happened. Ronaldo and Tevez left, who did we bring? Valencia. Then Berbatov lost form two seasons after.
Many will point to our success of 2012/2013. But that season Bilbao made us look ordinary, and we were inferior on the field of play to Chelsea as many times we played them. Even in the match they played nine men against us. City, Tottenham and Everton were better than us. We won most matches by single goal, mostly late winners. During same period, City kept spending and you think those money spent wouldn't have a future impact? Seems you did not understand what I wrote. you gave implied or excuses of some of our players not being available and that was why we are where we are now and my reply was a question ( sorry I did not put a question mark after that sentence) do you think we would be toe to toe with city if all our players were fit? The brand we play is annoying and Mourinho is the cause simple. we are not saying Mourinho must win every season as a man u coach, even Fergie didn't do that but if the brand we play is not changed to one that emphasises on attack even if there is a defensive masterclass to it we would not win the league in nearest future. And again no matter how improved we get if another team is better, any team for that matter, then we will always play 2nd fiddle. |

patrickmuf: I think he's codedly telling us that one of Herrera or Fellaini or probably both will be leaving the club cos it's not just logical to replace Carrick and still add another CM. On another hand, Pereira might replace Carrick and we get another CM to replace Fellaini... He said it as you if replacing carrick was just for the numbers. This is exactly what he should do and stop all these supposed coded yarns. patrickmuf: Well, Mourinho should calm down, he isn't doing himself any favor talking to the media, sit with Ed and others that matter and plan for January/Summer... elampiro: When you lose two players like Bailly and Pogba at same time, it can affect your team. Fellaini is another Mourinho's game charger, he got injured when he was playing his best football in the red colour. you keep looking for excuses for Mourinho. what is all this nonsense about him missing players that's why he lost games he was supposed to win. so you are yelling me that if all our players were fit we would be toe to toe with city even with Mourinho s brand of football. Yes losing players can affect the team but the truth is mourinhos brand of football where he places so much emphasis on defending is what has affected the psychology of the the players coupled with playing players out of position. And Mourinho should stop talking nonsense. what does he mean by replacing carrick with one player and improving the team with a second signing. so does he mean that the carrick replacement cannot also improve the team? Am just asking? |

patrickmuf: A team of super stars and average players playing together as a unit in attack and defense (Man City) is better than a collection of super stars and some average players playing disjointed football relying more on individual brilliance (Man Utd)... The movement of our players is poor, you don't see our full backs overlapping to draw defenders away from the wingers. Most times, Young passes the ball to Martial and stops like a spectator to watch how Martial will go past 2-3 defenders and when he can't, he passes back to Young and back the ball goes to Matic, back to Jones and we repeat the sequence again... Mou needs to work on our passing and movement and our forward play in general...We defend too deep thus whenever we recover possession, it we can't hurt the opposition immediately compared to City who press high up the pitch where they can hurt you if the chance presents itself... Sometimes I wonder why we can't press high up the pitch like Spurs/City/Pool or Chelsea who are improving in this aspect, our players are way too comfortable retreating back and Mou has to take responsibility to be honest. we don take this thing tire for here. By the time Mourinho exhibits this type of strategy again next season, then we go come know say na area one chance we don enter. How Mourinho will change to an attacking strategy is what I would like to see. I hope he gets all the players he wants this next 2windows so there would be no excuse of "must we win the league this season" next season. |

Totally agree with you. Mourinho has underutilized our players and the result has shown. Yes we are 2nd and should rightly be with what Pep is doing at city, but not 15points na! well like you said, time will tell. Except this city team will win all their matches till the end of season then we can truly say we had no chance, but I dare say that if/when they hit a rough patch we will not even be close enough to close in on them talkless about overtaking them and that's the sad part of everything. imagine fa our supposed noisy neighbours are now making us scream because of our STRATEGIC DEFENSIVE MASTERCLASS coach. CapitalCee: Fans should blame the manager accordingly, like the game versus city we lost due the managers naivety, and some other examples ofcourse where the manager failed, but most of the players need an iron hand to sit up, Luke Shaw for example is a huge talent, but even LVG complained of him not showing enough bottle. Jose has exiled him for some time now and rightly berated him, he is back with the right attitude and grit. Martial was was dross last season, after the same treatment he is currently our best forward. People were berating the manager for only trying to toughen Shaw and Martial, now the result is showing, Rashford needs the same. Some players don't need such motivations They are always charged up, like Valencia and Lingard they may lack quality but not motivation and grit.
Nice guys like Mkhi who I rate even till now, he started the season well and suddenly regressed, the manager gave him too much of a long rope, still he did not sit up, when he was dropped ? His supporters blamed it on mourinho giving him defensive responsibilities. Some have even started blaming the manager for Rashford recent petulance, that asking him to track back is the reason for his uninspiring displays.forgetting that Rashy is still young and will get better with time, thats why i am not even pissed with his play,he is in a particular phase right now, where he will frustrate You, but will develop into a world beater later. Ronaldo at his age is not posting better numbers.
My point is mourinho doesnt have the freedom to wield the axe, he is ussually blamed for every players misdemeanor. stop referring to fans as deluded because they have a different opinion or stand from yours. Air you point in aguements and try to win the other with your superior argument. if its a rival fan like that shameless kokaineprodigy then you can put them in their place. An assanal fan trolling us is what you can describe as delusion. |

dubylhover: oga its not about cherishing 2ND,but thats the realistic objective right now...abi did we plan to finish 2nd? no,we weren't effective in some of our games, and everything is going perfectly for city at the moment..it happens in football,we move on..
besides asides city,we are better than d rest if its any consolation..so you say we might not finish 2nd if we keep on dropping points, that's true but Chelsea might still not top us if they also keep dropping points..its a marathon, let's keep hoping for the best, that what fans are for we are better than the rest for now and hope by the end of the season we are still better than them or miraculously win the league. But for me despite agreeing that the team has improved with mourinho, the style of play he has deployed this season is get as e be. IMO, The match yesterday was not exactly defensive on our part, it was actually an open game and we created better chances to have killed the game off. |

I saw the game today and the decisions and misses were annoying, from lingard to martial and rashford |

I think Mourinho has caused a lot of problems with his negative style of play and I won't spare him. The buck stops on his desk whether he likes it or not.
But for this particular game the players need to to be flogged 12strokes simultaneously especially rashford and lingard so that they can cry in unison.
The players should be held responsible for the dropped points. |

ctuagent007: I'm not disputing ur point in fact not only KDB, do u know Sterling, Sane, Silva & Aguero/Jesus, etc they all track back to help the defense everytime so I don't dispute ur point but the diff between Mou's tracking back & Peps' is obvious to the blind. Pep's boys track back to help the defense but from that defense they are already initiating attack (pass pass) to the opponent's box but what Mou's guys do is "hoof" the ball for the striker (our goal against Tottheham doesn't work all the time) to start chasing like Drogba did (even JT made mention of it @ mnf) & doing such always end up inviting pressure back to our defense. PEPs team actually starts defending from the front unlike Mourinho's team that actually only think we have to defend from the back which means to defend means running back to defend. so when they eventually get the ball they then hoof it forward bto nobody in particular or to Lukaku who can't hold the ball. |

I feel with rashford is maybe a bit of the same. You see him going back into the full back areas. It's great that he's got that enthusiasm but to get the best out of him going forward he maybe needs to let the defenders and midfielders do all that!"
