I just hate the way we play when city is with the ball. As if we are waiting for them to make a mistake before we can get the ball instead of harassing them into making the mistake.

Mourinho needed this game more that Pep but is playing like he wants a draw.

when we scout a young player most times its not because he has played for a top club and has won things that the player is looked at. They are mostly looked at because they show promise and poutential.

of course I can place bebe and Sanchez on the same sentence because the reason a names like Ozil and Sanchez is being mentioned at that age by both united and city fans is because of what they bring to the table that we all have seen.

some are scouted and recommended based on potentials while other are sought after for their experience.

players peak at different times and apart from Ronaldo and Messi who are aliens, I think most other footballer of the year winners have been within a certain age bracket and 27 is actually a good age to get the best from a player who has peaked at that age. Also the player can still give at least 2 - 3 years of good football.

Buying a good player at 19 - 24 is still not a guarantee that those players will go on to be fantastic or get us anywhere and we have had quite a litany of them come and go.

Price in the market is crazy right now but if the player is 27 and in his prime then why not?
