Its only d unbeaten run thingy u guys have over us 4 now. Am glad we lost in a weekend where gayners chose to remind us that they will always be their own greatest enemies' hence confirming they are not d real threat, and also a wkend where a resurging liverpool play a gingered up chelsea. I will be supporting them scousers 2mrw. united still lead with 4 points. That cool by moi. UNITED 4 LIFE. |

We also know Arsenal has made profits more than double Newcastle. Making double of what Newcastle made in 2009 can also be significantly attributed to their troubles. Just an observation. |

switch47: Wenger voted World Coach of the Decade
Arsène Wenger has been named World Coach of the Decade.
The Arsenal manager edged out Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho to take the award handed out by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics.
The organisation conducts an annual Coach of the Year vote. Results from the last 10 polls were aggregated to find an overall winner. Wenger ended up with 156 points, Ferguson 148 and Mourinho 135.
The Frenchman will receive a certificate and golden trophy at the World Football Gala later this year.
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/arsene-wenger-voted-world-coach-of-the-decade I guess Wengay has won a trophy afterall Dayokanu take note. 10 - 1 expensive points were lost here i guess. |

Anderson is a destroyer, i like the energy he brings in distrupting the opponents play and that for me has a great advantage in a team.
If he continues to destroy the opponents play and gives the ball to a creative midfielder(which i feel we need) who then creates, then I WANT ANDERSON IN MY TEAM.
Anderson has been impressive this last few week and it depends on the gaffer to know which match his style of game fits to be able to get the best outta him.
@ Mbulela
Are u saying Anderson is that bad and does not bring much to the team. He may have a specific function in the team and if he does that excellently well then others should also perform to the best of their ability.
Its a team sport and as such different talents and functions for different positions, apart from fletcher in his element, who is a better destroyer?
Cut Anderson some slack abeg. |

@ Starboard Spear the guy abeg he aint worth it. The points UNITED were dropping while they were struggling were not 'expensive', only Arsenal can drop 'expensive points'. Damn!!!! They have been dropping 'expensive points' for half a decade! How much are those 'very very very expensive points worth? The problem with them is that they feel the IFs should only be in their favour, as West ham dont have a right to wish 'IF' they had won all 22 games they have played. |

duduspace: I strongly believe they will as well, I don't think they can get away with grinding out these results all through the season, they wobbled early on when they didn't have the Vidic/Rio combo, if anything breaks that partnership cards, medium to long term injury or sudden loss of form that could be our opportunity. Gaynners and their lack of retentive memory!!! What happened when we almost had all our first team defenders out injured |

dipo2much: Manu haven't really been spectacular. I predicted earlier this season that they will struggle and the only reason that prediction looks wrong is that we,the Arsenal, haven't lived up to expectation. We have dropped some expensive points that we ideally shouldn't have. If we had won some matches were we clearly had a advantage (like sunderland, west brom and tottenham),then manu's ineptitude would have shown. But its still far from over, and if we continue playin well, those weeks when the other contenders dropped points will replay. It may not sound new,but I agree with the thought that we are better in the race than in the past few seasons. If your prediction of Manu struggling looks wrong because the Arses have not lived up to expectations. I would like to know what your predictions were for your team and what it looks like now that u have not lived up to expectation. Who even gives you the right to predict what our season is gonna be like hannie: We like to delude ourselves that because we love beautiful footie and support our club because of romantic and sexy footie all our rivals or all teams worldwide must play attractive footie for the game to remain popular . . .FA, FA, FA, FAWL FOUL! Practically the most sensible thing i ever read from a Gunner! |

debosky: Dunno what all the noise is about. For those that were actually watching the game not listening on radio, the free kick against Djourou that led to the alleged handball should never have been given in the first place.
Djourou was ahead of Jerome, but Jerome placed his hands on DJ and went down, getting DJ unfairly booked when NO TACKLE took place. Now if the decision leading to the freekick was wrong, then any subsequent handball is rendered irrelevant in my opinion.
If you want to be philosophical about it, the referee made up for his unwarranted freekick and yellow card decision by ignoring the alleged handball.
End of story. Ok, let us agree your explanation is what must have happened, it then means that it was subject to the interpretation of the ref wether he saw it or not, according to HNIC. . But in the case of United, it looks like the ref has no right to interprete what he saw or did not see specially when he interprets it in favour of UNITED |

HNIC: Unless you ain't true to yourself. Majority of my scummie friends and YOUR MANAGER also, . . agreed that Neville shoulda been off and it was a stone cold penalty If I start listing controversial decisions that have gone in favour of Manure in the last few seasons, I will cause this thread to move to the next page You are as confused as the word CONFUSED can ever be expressed. Who told u we did not agree that that was a blatant foul, we even berated Neville, and kept on wondering why SAF chose him to play. But your deluded arguement here makes u look stupid when u allude to the fact the in United's case the ref MUST see it, but in your case it may be that the ref MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE SEEN IT OR HIS INTERPRETATION OF WHAT HE MAY HAVE SEEN OR NOT SEEN. What kinda of a brain do u have? |
