I did see it, the articles are even on the Arsenal.com site. This is one of the reasons I remain optimistic - come March, we will be DEADLY in midfield and attack. Fab is coming, so is Theo and even Rozzi. We just need to be more clinical in the meantime and our creative forces will be back soon enough.
You could be 25-30 points behind Man U by then. grin

@ Emperoh

I understand how u feel, we just have to find a way out. If we have to play carrick as a make shift CB then so it will be. But then hope JO is ok to free Carrick for his normal position.

Am sure JM is thinking they can kill us off with our injury problems, but he also has to be weary of our attack.

I also think we could play fletcher and scholes in the middle, Park/Nani and Ronaldo at the wings with Tevez and Rooney upfront.

How badly injured is Anderson?

Once again Man Utd wins the EPL despite being in 2nd-3rd gear throughout the season. SHAME on others.

They went to Japan, played extra games, Played Super cup, CR7, Rooney and most key players were out yet they lead with Miles. Is that not shameful?

Don't understand why Mancs can't get it.

True, Chelsea and Arsenal haven't done well this season.

These are your major contenders. I have an excuse for Chelsea anyway.

United may have gone 14 games without a goal, cos the strike force of the EPL this season is laughable.

Anelka has 14 goals only and he's top scorer with 3months left , common!!

Even your 'god', CR7s form cannot be compared to his form last season.

United is a good team no doubt, but they are looking 'invincible' cos others have been shit, not b'cos they've played so well.

The games are lacklustre, no bite, no fight, seems everyone has given up.

Is that too hard to accept?
Dont know what you want UNITED to do if other teams already feel defeated before they come against the team.

Then ask yourself, why do they feel defeated??

You said games are lacklustre! Who's fault is that when all they want to do is park the bus and expect us to find a way to score we always do and then lock up shop.

Bring me a team with bite and fight and see this UNITED team tear them apart. Chelsea comes to mind tongue

A team that hammered your beloved ChelSHIT 3-nil isn't doing anything extraordinary.
A tem that hasn't conceeded since November 8 in the Premier League isn't doing anything extrordinary.
A team that has been hit by injuries andsuspensions and rotates its squad without disrupting its rhythm isn't doing anything extraordinary.
A team 10 points clear of you at this stage of the season isn't doing anything extraordinary.

So tell me what extra-ordinary is.

If we're going to be exposed,if we ever are, better the champions league than in England where anybody including relegation threatened Watford of the Championship will give you a scare for at least 75 minutes.
Its sooo ordinary that only UNITED can do it. grin

Has United been that good or EPL teams are have been rubbish this season?
Surely, the CL will tell.
This na bad belle and its not a convincing one for that matter, judging from some of your other posts.

~Sauron~:
United have been so good they made other EPL teams look like shit.
You cannot discount a team that has refused to concede in 14 consecutive league games.
Thats more than 1/3 of the season without leaking a goal. . . . .Thatz a massive achievement.

I doubt Ferguson will buy an out n out striker ever again.
He loves the rotating forwards and if you take what happened at Pride park into consideration, Fergie has been vindicated.
Scoring 4 goals away from home with no recognised striker. Ronaldo and Giggs led the attack line(Wingers).
Fergie is god.
And to think that about 95% of those games were won, even if they were mostly 1-0 wins is impressive.
If it were the Arses they would prolly be celebrating 14 consecutive 0-0 draws. grin

Guy ,
the united I saw August to Late november was different from the one i knew.
but there seems to be a new philosophy about the side based on defensive solidity. If you don't concede, you won't lose games.
There were very difficult away games at the start of the season. We copped well enough to keep other clubs in sight.

Even though we were not convincing at the start, we always knew Fergie knows what to do.

FERGIE KNOWS grin grin grin

i dont know what VDS did o.
But wait, whats happening to our old warhorses?
recently Giggs has been superb and my o my, did you see what Scholes did yesterday?
how can we stop winning when our old men are working their socks off?
UTD will win all trophies in sight if they continue like this.

By the way, i dont see us conceding maybe till Pool comes to OT.
and if they also decide not to score, then forget it, we'll stop using goalies in our subsequent games
Its things like this that gives NAZIDAYO teh impetus to question the quality of the PREM. the only thing he fails to realise or appreciate that UNITED have attained alevel that is making other teams look like mediocres.

As per the Oldies in the team, ma guy icant fit explain that part. only that Fergie knows how to get the best from them, he gives them good resting time and unleashes them on poor innocent EPL teams grin grin

I dont see any league where this UNITED team will not dominate like they are doing now. The only team thats at par with UNITED is BARCA and boy would like to see a BARCA/UNITED CL final.

Pool were lucky the first round, not taking anything from their present form, but i assure you things will return to the status Quo when they visit OT. According to Jackal, w'll need a magnifying mirror to locate EL Nino on that day. grin

This is really getting ridiculous, I think Fergie should put up a prize for the next player/team to score us, maybe that would help intensify the attempt on our goal.

Please someone answer this question: What did VDS do last night?

We could have practically played the Fulham game without a Keeper. All the attempts at goal went wide, he never needed to make any type of save, or did i watch anoda game.

UNITED 4eva. cool

Rafael Benitez claims the club cannot compete with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea when it comes to money.

"Every year United collect £60 million more than us - that means they can buy three £20 million players each season," he told the Mirror.
"Chelsea will have spent £500 million over the last five years."

"We've made a team that can compete with them but economically we're inferiors and can't afford the players they can.
I have enough data to bore you with but if you look at United it wasn't just spending £31m on Dimitar Berbatov - they can spend whatever it takes for what they need every year.

You can read the rest here.

Is Rafa Benitez going insane?? grin grin grin grin
Rafa is a clown.

Does he think once the player is expensive, that makes him an instant hit huh huh

Fergie has an eye for the kinda player he wants in his team an expresses his willingness to get that player regardless of what the player cost. Is rafa saying that we dont buy young cheap players and groom them into the terror they become to other teams, or is he saying Fergie has never bought an expensive player that could not cut it in the PREM.

The spuds spend alot and still cant compete at the level they want to.

The issue is not really the amount but the ability of the coach to see how a particular player would improve what he already has.

The thing with Fergie is that he has bought more players (wether expensive or not) that have become hits than those that have failed. Thats the difference. The grooming of youngstars also helps.

Is it UNITED fault that they have money and would rather spend it for the progress of the club, than to hoard it like Wengay(thats if he even has the money) grin

Can UNITED take this team APART??
If we neutralise the wings with Brown, CR7, Nani, Evra then we can win this match from the quick counter/sublime passes through the middle. If JM plays defensive that would be his undoing cause that gives us the confidence to find a way by mounting pressure.

JM has been keenly watching our matches, i guess he is so scared grin grin. Fergie probably already has the blueprint to roast INTER H & A.

Car TalkRe: I Made This Motorbike With My Bare Hands by codedguy1(m): 8:05am On Feb 13, 2009
i personally think its criminal for someone to just put a picture of something and claim he did it with his bare hands without giving us some sort of insight into how he came about it.

Yes, you do not need to give us full details, but what makes anything special and worth accolades is the ingenuity in the way and manner the person achieved this exceptional contraption.

Creating a bike is not an invention, but when you claim it runs on grease, batteries, wind and God knows what, it is of necessity that it is followed with some explanation, or questions will be asked, which are being asked here.

Even just to stand beside it or place it beside something we can scale it with seems to be a problem for you.

I suggest you take that picture off this forum if you are not ready to atleast let us scale your invention, or is that also going to affect your patent right huh huh

I will be amongst those that would congratulate you if you can give us some reasonable explanation into your invention.

As it stands now, you can ride your bike in your bedroom @ 160km/ph for all i care. angry angry angry
