HNIC:
Q: What do the following Spud managers have in common?

David Pleat
Glenn Hoddle
Jacques Santini
Martin Jol
Juande Ramos
Harry Redknapp

A: They all laboured and tried in vain to defeat Arsenal in a league match at different times in a period spanning a decade (10 freaking years).
The Lilywhites have not beaten Arsenal in the league since 1999 !!!
Kindly search your bare trophy cupboard if Ass Anal was awarded a medal for this wonderful achievement.

You guys are really fickle.

Unbeaten Run, Young guns, winning man u & chelsea and lieing in 5th, pass masters, and the joy of seeing an ex Ass Anal player not leaving up to expectation in his new club is what really gives you joy. tongue shocked. angry

This is really pathetic.

DDK is a normad, it would be difficult to pin him down to a thread.

See how ungratefull he can be, Criz take her church mind arrange thread where him fit fellicitate with his pointless and biased arguments, yet he is still adamant.

ok dayo, when are you gonna start comparing the EPL with Nigerian wrestling. grin tongue shocked since you can compare the EPL, its players and refs to anything these days.

I tire 4 the guy.

Those pictures were pasted on this forum without any explanation and most people have jumped to the conclusion that the police was about to collect egunje, whether half or full current. I really dont think so.

If we look at he pix, top right corner, w'll see a traffic light post there, i can bet the lady driver disobeyed the light and was stopped by the police, but decided to do a "blues brothers"

The truth is the lady driver would/ should be prosecuted for what she did if we were in a sane society, even if she was on her right, what she did is unacceptable.

As per the police, this is what happens when your reputation goes before you, You get condemned even in instances where you were trying to uphold the law and something like this happens. its really a shame on us as a nation.

congratulations Arses grin

Another player with name starting with ARS grin grin. He sure should fit the bill. tongue

Lets just hope he brings something exciting to the Emirates, Arsenal fans have been thinning out recently.

A string of excellent Arshavin displays will sure bring out all those Gaynners that have somehow resigned to an unpredictable faith.

Somehow, i hope he rejuvenates their hopes that they can still finish 4th tongue tongue Na prayer oo

Its so interesting when one comes to the the champions' thread, unlike some other thread thats wreaks of sorrow, tears complaints, disappointments, mediocrity, unrealistic hopes and eventually shattered dreams. grin tongue

Tmoni:

Myself2, How old are u?  huh huh I think you've been spending a lot of time with yourself.

Dont let me call u a dolt this morning for assuming the statement meant the child changes his diaper himself.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by codedguy1(m): 5:32pm On Jan 20, 2009
we would crucify any team we meet at wembley, the motivation level for UNITED at that point would be astronomical.

I see you have a lot of confidence on these new/young guys and i actually agree with you when you said its in games like these we should expect to see what they are made of.

~Sauron~:
Starting Ronaldo n Carrick will be too unfair on Derby County. It will be like using cheat codes to play on PES/FIFA 09. grin
At this point, there should be norrin like unfair cos if by some stroke of luck(which i dont pray for)we lose. We no go hear word from the haterz shocked

We should crush anyhing that looks and runs like a derby county player.

OBAMA oooooooooh !!!!!!grin cheesy smiley cool

Very ''optimistic'' from someone who long ago admitted the only thing Arsenal stand a chance of winning this season is the FA Cup. . .

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by codedguy1(m): 5:03pm On Jan 20, 2009
I really would like to win this cup. it would boost our push to winning everything this season.

Do you think it would be advisable to throw Fabio, Tosic, Possebon and nani (who we dont know what to expect of)in a game like this. i would expect we stable the ship by putting already trusted legs so we can get an early goal and then ease these guys in especially tosic and Fabio. Derby has been stubborn for the first team in anumber of occassions and i hope today aint gonna be one of them. Its a cup competition so we also must approach with some sense of caution, which in ma opinion is all out attack.

Anyways, we should have this under control cool
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by codedguy1(m): 4:47pm On Jan 20, 2009
@ sauron

What's up?

Derby can be sometimes stubborn like the goat on their logo, but i expect us to give them a sound beating.
Hope we wrap this early, so we can see the likes of Tosic and Fabio play.

Brown, Hargreaves, Rooney, Evra, Rio are out and the team still looks like what would put up strong challenge for any league in the world.

My possible starting line up Kuszczak, Neville, Vidic, Evans, O'shea, Carrick, Giggs, Fletcher, Nani, Tevez, Welbeck. cool cool grin

Anyone else?

debosky:
Don't misquote me mafriend! tongue When did you become a mind reader anyways huh

Arsenal is a mere 6 points behind the leaders in January. . . .at this stage we can still win the premiership if we look at points. I know we likely will not, because we have too many issues with the side, but I do think we'll end up 2nd or 3rd.

Doing that and winning a cup will be a MASSIVE achievement. cool
I know u was gonna come out to defend that sentence grin grin grin

Am not misquoting you, just trying to make sence of what you mean by your favourite position grin.
Anyways, i would still like to see Arsenal in the CL, they seem to kinda hold their own in cup competition.

debosky:
Starting from the next game, Villa will start dropping points. Young is out for three games - who do they have to replace him?
Debo has it come to this? bad belle prayers, anyways Arsenal needs it.

justkunmi:
and end up 4th. wink.
grin grin grin grin Favourite position.

~Sauron~:
Dang it!!! We have Brown, Rio, Evra, Hargreaves and Rooney missing(Thatz half of the team that started in Moscow).
And we are still riding high. cool cool
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by codedguy1(m): 12:38pm On Jan 19, 2009
Man U ; We just keep scrapping three points, scoring in the last ten minutes in recent games with an impregnable defence, atleast in the last 10 games. How cool smiley wink cheesy grin cool

Chelsea : They seem to be confused and seem to be the ones most hit by the economic melt down, Food rations of the players have been halved grin grin, things are happenning. Is RA selling the club or not? abi na shakara the guy they do. Anyways, visit the chelsea thread make u see as analysis they flow left right and center.

Arsenal ; The ambition now is to make sure they finish in 4th position, that would be the best thing that could happen to them this season. atleast that's what debo thinks.  shocked shocked AV has a lot to say bout that.

Liverpool ; Although they have not been too mouthy bout their surprise lead, especially at the turn of the year, reality/pressure has started to stare them in the face. They all seem to have recoiled and are probably running scarewalking alone. grin

@ DDK

Thank God, you are not FIFA tongue

Ronaldo is the best player in the world judging by his perfomance last year. He more than deserves it.

You and your Biggest tournament and big games theory. please shush it.

If you don't like the fact that he has Won the award, please do us a favour and jump off a plane without a parachute, it will do the game of football some good. tongue

@ Mancs

Congratulovia should be in order.

i hope this spurs Ronaldo into reaching his form of last season, we will need it to prove to bad belle cynics like DDK, that Ronaldo is trully gifted and blessed, if he takes my advice and miraculously survives the fall.
