Obviously, the best team is the team with the best quality. However quality is not the only ingredient that determines success. Motivation and determination also counts.

United currently has a more quality squad than Leicester but the later are better motivated and are stronger mentally.

If these players always puts in the hard work, make runs and disorganize defenses, the goals will come. For United, the problem is more about motivation and having the winning mentality, not just quality.

What factors help motivate a player or team?

As players can't they motivate themselves so that the quality they claim to possess will come to the fore.

This comparison might not be right but I remember when we dey play set just for street bragging rights, person go nearly wan kill himself for field, but these ones that are paid armed robber wages and supposedly have quality can't motivate themselves enough. They are waiting for OGS to motivate them and inject winning mentality into their brains and legs with syringe.

This 4th world status would be an achievement for this government.

Oga before you rest your case. Nobody has ignored the role the gaffer plays in making sure the team performs.

Ole's selection, formation, tactics and substitution has been discussed here.

Some are of the opinion he needs more time and some want his head like now now.

I am of the opinion that even if Ole is given time he would still come short of my expectations as to where we want to be as a club. I could be wrong though. Unfortunately sacking him now will be a dicey thing to do.

This argument started with some of us believing that our team/players are better than they are performing and sighted how we played against Sheffield united and why or how come Leicester is above us despite us supposedly having better players.

Sighting one off incidences to counter that claim just doesn't cut it. Being a better team than your opponent is something to be proven over time. It doesn't mean you cant lose an odd game here and there. It happens. Barca and Roma will have to play a number of times to be able to conclude who is better. by your submission you feel Barca is a better team but lost to Roma.

Teams are judged on current form and in a league if a team is above you they are better on current form. At the end of the league your standing tells you where you are. Simple.

If Roma and barca were in the same league and barca lost to Roma but finish above them then barca will be adjudged the better team because they would have met twice and met other teams on the table.

You can't possibly say that Sheffield United has better players than Spurs, United and Arsenal just because of their position on the table else you'll be laughed at every quarter. Look at Leicester City before Rodgers and now their fitness has improved, tactically they look better.

Look at Dortmund when Klopp was coach and now, look at Liverpool, don't you see obvious similarities? At Dortmund, you had Schmelzer and Piszchek at Pool you have Robertson and TAA and their pressing game is similar.

Are you saying that with Klopp or Pep as coach we will have players strolling on the field of play? I honestly doubt. Manchester City and Liverpool players work very hard game week after game week. Now take a look at our performance after going 2 goals down, we looked all of a sudden miles better than Sheffield until Ole decided to hand over the initiative to Sheffield United by his negative sub. Imagine if we started every game with the same intensity and purpose, we wouldn't be dropping points against Crystal Palace and the Sheffield United's of the world.

I agree coaching is a vital part of a teams performance but I want to ask you a simple question.

What happened to pochettino and spurs, what happened to Ranieri when he won the league with Leicester and the season he was sacked?

You make it sound like Sheffield performance against united was a fluke, those guys have been consistent and we always knew it wasn't going to be easy, especially when we know how uninspiring our team has been coupled with Ole being at the wheel.
