Ole was talking about high pressing beginning of the season but only James really does that in our attack.

Again both Martial and Rashford have not helped matters. Apart from getting injured we have seen how martial can be annoying even with his talent during Mourinhos tenure. One game he is doing all the right things the next he has this forlorn face and attitude towards the game. Rashford the same thing.

When I said James was doing all by himself I simply meant he was finding a way regardless of whatever instructions he had been given.

If you agree they both have talent, could the coach be the problem? Or they can't adapt/ interprete instructions even with their talents.

Anyways I have agreed with Elampiro that we should give them time and by the time Ole gets about 7 of his own signings we will win the league back to back to back again

Well I dont know about selling.

If a player is good but has a coach that lacks the requisite ability to bring out the best in him, the player suffers.

If a player cannot adapt/interprete the instructions of the coach, the coach looks bad.

In our case we might have a little of both in the case of Ole, Rashford and Martial.

This is not how a coach instructs players. No coach will just say hug the touchline. Coaches build players to adapt to different situations. However, some players dont learn fast.

Someone who has been poor in decision making will not change overnight.

I was replying what Obainijazz said about what if it was what the coach had asked him to hug the line and whip crosses in.

So Martial and Rashford cannot still adapt to situations to find a way to be at least a little bit consistent regardless of the coaches instructions, after how many years? When can/will they change their poor decision making?

If you are saying we should still be patient with Rashford and Martial, no problem.

The two players Ole bought have improved our overall play. Some of the kids promoted from academy are also showing sign of consistency. McTominay (although promoted by Mourinho) and William. Is it not logical to say Ole is capable of building a new brand United when he eventually assembled new players in at least 7 positions?

You just confirmed what I have been saying that both Rashford and Martial will take us no where.

Although I still have doubts about Ole's ability to Manage this club.

James is playing what they said he should do, those two aren't.
The way James hugs the touchline and whips in crosses is not his usual playing style.. I might be wrong though but I'm quite certain that is how Ole wants him to play.

Then he is using his brain. Why are those 2 not doing it. Is that not what I said earlier that he processes instructions better than those 2. If Ole has instructed him to hug the line and whip in crosses do you think the opposing coach will not also instruct his team to counter it. It then means James still finds a way to achieve what he wants to do unlike those 2 who probably continue to do the same thing and ones the defenders knows what they have been told he then neutralizes them and that's why we have been complaining about their inconsistencies even here.

James has been consistent while those 2 have not been. If we agree they both receive instructions from the same coach, why does James seem to always find a way with different teams while those 2 continue to blow hot and cold.

For a new player, James has been consistent. Both Rashford and Martial seem to decide when they want to play well or not.

Even when the team is playing rubbish as a whole James has somehow been able to single himself out.

I am saying James is thinking but those two are not using their brains to play ball even though we know they have the skills.

It is a gradual process until the team is able to play in a certain well and learn to breakdown defence.

Now we are still weak in many aspects of the game which is down to the players not the coach. Is it not same coach teaching James, that teaches Rashford and Martial? How come we have no accurate headers to score from corner kicks but we concede from corner kicks? Some individual qualities are just lacking. If Smalling were here, we would probably have one ot two goals from corner.

First of all let me say OLE should leave this club. For me I have had enough of him.

Insinuating that since the same coach(Ole) coaches Rashford, Martial and James, they should all at least play on the same level is quite unfortunate ( I am assuming you are impressed with James but not with Rashford and Martial)

Both Rashford and Martial to some extent are quite confused and it would be unfair to think/assume they process instructions the same way.

The next question is, instructions from who? OLE

James is thinking on his own while those two are just not serious.

The team has to be built to the level playing core attacking football. The other day we tried to play high in the pitch against Chelsea, and Maguire was out paced for Chelsea equalizer

But attacking football also means the CBs will push up to make the team compact. That can still leave Maguire to be outpaced by any fast attacker.

Methinks we need to be clinical with our chances but that also brings up the aspect of who creates the chances and then who finishes the created chances.
