Watch City often and you'll find Walker pushing beyond Silva when he has the ball. I wonder what Pep was thinking when he instructed Walker to move infield towards the midfield when he'd have been more useful bombarding forward from the RB position. If you followed the game closely, you'd have noticed he revert to the norm when he came to the realization that Manchster United were not going to be pushovers deep into the 2nd half after he brought on Mahrez. Walker began bombarding forward and it caused us problems as Shaw wasn't sure whether to stay with Mahrez or track the run of Walker.

Well Pep is human. He might have made a mistake asking Walker to do that but it was more of strategy and confidence that it would work and not ARROGANCE. That's my point.

It might have worked against some other top teams and in Pep's mind he probably didn't consider us a top team anymore. Now that can be considered arrogant

Yeah, burning out will be an issue. To reduce that affect the likes of Mata and Pereira will have to play to allow some others rest.

Greenwood, Levitt's and Garner will need to grow up fast Chong and Gomes never really get bearing.

The problem is, seeing Pereira or Mata in the starting line up or being told to warm up makes my stomach turn.

Taking off beanz and replacing with Pereira is like reducing your quality from an initial low quality position.

I think all 3 reasons caused it. The 3 reasons are kinda intertwined in a way. Reinforcing means bringing in more bodies, of course we expect that they would be quality and this means during an injury spell you can still look at your bench and see some quality to bring in because you have enough players.

In city you can replace Aguero/Jesus, sane/sterling, Bernardo/Marhez, even Silva/dem Bruyne etc

Again just read the wage bill was considered in the scheme of things during the tw. Its quite complicated to get a balance but we hope they do get it right.

Some of us still question Ole's ability to actually get the best out if his players still. But after this win I will cut him some slack.

Unfortunately, the solution to all these is to get some more players. We don't have those players in the team currently. I thought Chong and Gomez could do this, but I'm not sure

Right now, in this season and even the next I don't thing they can.

We still need about 2 players, hopefully Bruno and another, in that midfield even if Pogba stays.

Against smaller teams, we need tricky attackers and midfielders that can beat their man, draw players, and create space. Against top teams, those spaces will be there

If that's what we need for smaller teams then we are in trouble because, Pereira seems useless, lingard and tricky don't go together, mata is slow and spent, martial is inconsistent.

The only tricky player we think we have seems to have his head somewhere else, probably thinking about dabbing and fancy haircuts.

The pace of Rashford and James will worry any top team that comes at us.

Ole is good against top teams abi. There more mid table to lower table teams than top teams.

If we do well against all the top teams and mess up against mid and lower teams we will never win the league.

Top teams are inclined to want to attack because they are supposed to be top teams while other teams are quite unpredictable or pack the bus which it seems Ole hasn't really figured out how to break em down.

Hope we don't throw these wins away by doing the unthinkable against the next midtable team we meet.
