greatgod2012: No wonder!
How could I have known that? No wonder she personalized my comment, whereas I was only stating my observation.
And that I started my opinion doesn't mean that I support what the op wrote in totality, but just an avenue to educate my fellow ladies that a lady who want a man to be completely responsible for all her financial needs cannot earn so much respect from such a man. It's so sad we have too many people like Dollyjoy that are actually proud of being dependent. Funny thing is they start claiming feminist when they have no idea what that actually means. Actually went through some dollyjoy 's posts and all I could do is shake my head. greatgod2012 do not mind her, a lot of people are just too stuck to the way they were raised never want to improve and do better, some don't think enough while some are just lazy. |

Seun: This is irrelevant. As I said, I'm yet to meet anyone who wasn't introduced to idea of God through religion. If you know one, tell us. Deists are like children who discovered that the things their parents told them about Santa were lies, but still believe that there is a "real Santa" out there. I'm not going to use the word God. No. Deism makes sense. There are lots of us who choose to believe there is a creator even though there is no actual prove, it doesn't mean we are serving the creator or doing unnecessary things for him. |

Xensity: Virginity is overrated. There is actually nothing intrinsically special about it. It's just one of those ideological cultural frameworks that people subscribe to without examining critically.
If the idea of keeping one's virginity till one gets married should ever be taken seriously, then it should also be emphasized in the camp of males too, and not just in the camp of females.
If anyone demands that his wife-to-be remains a virgin till they get married, a notion I find inherently silly, and a mere product of ideological indoctrination and sheepish conformity, he too has to be a virgin, and remain one till he gets married. Don't expect from someone something you can't deliver. My mind |

Any person that thinks I mean think think and think would know the "right things" and also know doing the right thing feels really good. This is why I wish the general population Nigerians be introverts so they could think better. I believe the major problem we have in this world at the moment is people not "thinking enough" this is why I respect the earlier generations so much for the things they came up with and did too. |

And by "social media entertainers" or like the public call it; "instagram comedians" we mean people that have built their entertainment brand basically on platforms like; Instagram,YouTube,Twitter,Facebook and Snapchat. This ranking is strictly based on; the kind of content they put up, how viral their videos went in 2016, how huge their audience grew this year and their influence on social media one way or the other.

10. OLUWADOLARZ COMEDY

But if there is anything that is obvious about him it would be hard work. After fighting depression earlier this year the instagram and youtube star came back stronger. Twyse post videos about a fictional family with several funny characters which he played all by himself, months later he launched an original series on YouTube called "Twyse and Family" played, written, directed and edited all by himself at the moment the series features up to 10 characters which he play all by himself and his costume perfects it. His costume is one of the things that make him much more different and professional than the others. As he is popular on Instagram so it is on YouTube, his channel is growing as he's brand keeps growing in general. Well, he is a Nigerian but he resides in the U.K. Twyse Ereme is the no.1 social media entertainer of year 2016. Source: http://www.takemetonaija.com/2016/12/ten-hottest-best-social-media.html |
Christianity Etc › Christians Please Let's Talk About Your Personal Encounters/experiences With God by Codedrock(op): 2:53pm On Dec 18, 2016 |
OK I'm tired of this. I saw this post on FP and I saw comments and I just got really fired up. It's funny how Christians keep repeating this "personal experience" and personal relationship with God thingy, and the sad part of this is that these people strongly believe they really did had an encounter with God.
Let's use our senses here please don't be blinded by your beliefs just think.
Please talk about your encounter with God, like a real encounter worthy of mentioning, not some prayers you prayed that you think were answered.
In a real sense we would consider a real encounter to be God himself or an Angel sent by God appearing to you and you conversing with him like Moss, Jacob, Paul and more did in the bible, maybe you even heard his voice talking to you I'm talking physical not in your dreams.
We would also consider an encounter to be a miracle you've done like; heal the blind, the cripple, and more... Just like other Christians did in the bible. If you haven't had anything related to the ones in the bible you can talk about the personal encounter or experience you believe you've had with God and we'll all reason about it together.
I'm not an atheist I'm just trying let us reason together maybe even learn from you guys.
So keep the comments coming.. . |

jossypet: It baffles me when people who think they're 'reasonable' say that there is no God. Can u imagine a little ant claim that there are nothing like humans when there are humans all around? Everything about creation testifies about the existence of God. Well, no wonder the scripture says that a FOOL says there's no God. Have an encounter with your maker. The sad thing about all these is that you guys that keep shouting "encounter" "personal relationship" with God actually haven't had any with God. I'm talking a real personal encounter where he speaks to your ears like it was in the bible, allow you to perform miracles and more... Your claimed "personal experiences and relationships" can be basically said to be coincidences. cos you all say you have a personal experience when you think your prayers got answered. |

fkdmods: Gbam. Gbam. Gbam. Why don't more Nigerians think like this? The world is becoming a world where facts don't matter. This is the reason why extremism is becoming a problem we all cannot handle anymore. It is why Donald Trump won the U.S elections. It is why BH, Isis, exists. People don't care about what can be proven. It is what feels right to them that matters. Even if it doesn't make sense. That a man can walk on water and that he can turn water to wine makes sense to them. Smh. Isn't it convenient that all of a sudden all miracles somehow just stopped after everyone who can readily testify to them are dead? Only proof is a book that another human being wrote. As if people don't lie. A book filled with so much discrepancies that you will not believe. I wonder if they surgically remove their brain once they declare that they are christians or muslims? Why are many Nairalanders so obsessed with the unlike button though over the years I have seen a lot of NL users ask for it but Seun wouldn't give. Trust me don't waste your time asking for an unlike button, he's finalized his decision and I don't think you guys have enough reasons to convince him... Only him can change is own mind. Either ways Seun should stop giving that excuse of "if someone gets too many unlikes, the person can commit suicide or hurt himself" cos that can barely happen, even though it's possible. Mimzyy: Cc Seun. Plssss...The unlike button BiafranBushBoy: Sir please give us an unlike button. Seun: What part of Nairaland is not satisfying you at the moment? Well, I created a Thread earlier which you ignored: Hello oga Seun, My complaint is basically on the follow feature. The following feature on Nairaland if I'm correct is for you to see posts by the people you follow but we can all agree its useless. Seun as a user on Nairaland follows about 200+ people but I'll guess that's just for fun because I believe you don't click on the following button to see posts from people you follow why? Because they are not organized. Since I've joined Nairaland I could only follow 2-3 people because i follow those people so I could see their posts but if I follow more than that I'll get tired because there would be too many posts to check, about now I should be following up to ten people I want to keep seeing their posts but I can't cos I won't be able to see the top priority ones, due to these I only follow the top priority users which at moment is just 2. I believe there's a way that can be more organized.
Secondly.. What's the point of you getting followers if people can't see how many people follows you. The kind of audience you have. It would be much lovely if the number of followers show on people's profile. It feels good to know you have an audience.
This is a professional complain as an active Nairaland user, I hope the Administrator takes it serious and not just close the thread and say: "Thanks for the suggestions"
By the way guys what do you think?? And there are more interesting features you can still add. So what say you Seun? |
