Fellow naira landers my mood was dampened today as a result of the Ill attitude of my sales girl. I recently launched a small business which I make total sales of about 36000 each month. out of this I decided to pay my sales girl 16k, my expenses for the business is around 4 - 5k. she has a bad attitude ,comes late to work, doesn't pick her call, doesn't keep to instruction, stays away from work especially on Saturdays I recently observed there were a lot of shortages after returns for the day. I cautioned her but to my surprise there was shortage of over 20k and she told me a certain customer of ours didn't pay up. I called the customer and he said he paid her. people hv advised me to sack her, I gave her an advance of 21k to use for her rent. now she owes me 25k . how do I collect my money? should I involve the police. pls help a young business guy |

Redeem Church for help? I remember bk in 2015 I was broke and didn't hv money. I was always going to church and active in all departments. Church members would visit my house every Saturday, I didn't mind . something came up(a job) in bayelsa and I needed about 10k to travel. my parents raised ,I called the pastor ,some brothers ,the mummies no one helped me. I was meant to travel to bayelsa on a Wednesday and I was Still in Lagos on Tuesday by 9am. I summoned up courage and walked down my street to an Alfa and told him my problem. he gave me 12k along with 5k mum gave me.which I used to travel to bayelsa and I got the job,our lives are different now.The pastors started bugging my line when they heard am bk from bayelsa ,I told them not to ever call my line or visit me again. what's the point of belonging to a family that cannot help u when u in need |
Well said. Let's stop leaving in the dark past and raising dusts which could lead to war and hatred. War is costly and expensive, as leaders our statements should spur togetherness and love. Nigeria is blessed |
for how much now. Duncan mighty got one of the best collabos this year. money ain't a problem. sometimes you too busy with big things to the extent small things slip you by. |
KINGinVAHALA:tot as much too. somehow takes away the beauty that comes with dressing like a woman from them |
Short or Long tight town is widely accepted as the dress code of bridal train in Nigeria. However, this bridal train decided to change the trend by wearing a waist coat, tie with a nicely fitted trouser on the bride's special occasion to the amusement of guests at the occasion. Be the judge. Hit or miss?

I started a thread yesterday( https://www.nairaland.com/4805373/how-petiton-bank-holding-money) which was intended to seek support and advice from nairalanders. i BEGGED the mod to push it forward but they didnt. I did an online transaction of 100000 yesterday 23rd October which is the last money I have right now and what I use to run my small business and my major means of survival, however the transaction failed but when I tried to do the transaction again I discovered the message from the merchant was I didnt have enough funds, I didnt get any debit alert but 100000 was deducted from my account from access bank. I called the bank and they said it was from the merchant and I should get the merchant to confirm that the transcation didnt go through that once they get the confirmation they will release the funds. I got across to the merchant and they sent a mail confirming that the transaction actually failed and access bank is holding my money and the money should be released to me. I borrowed some money to make calls and I called their contact center all through the day because that is my lifeline and I have to pay loans at the end of the month. After calling me at night that they will manually release the money, Access bank now debited me again around 2am this morning and claimed I did a transaction at night which I didnt do. This is what they sent to me today Dear Mr. *****, We acknowledge receipt of your mail on a failed POS/WEB transaction. Hello nairalanders , I initiatated a transaction online whichh was unsuccessful. A mail was sent to me by the website however upon trying again i noticed the error request was insufficient funds . I returned to my mail to check my balance and i Noticed ABOUT 100K was deducted without any message sent to me by my bank. I called the bank and they said I should contact the merchant that once they get a message from the merchant they will release my money. I contacted the merchant and the merchant sent a mail to the bank telling the the transaction failed and they should return my money. Up till now I am yet to get my money from the bank for over 9hrs lalalasticlala and Mynd44 |

Dear Nairalanders, I started a small business which has growing. An opportunity came up in a new location far away from where I worked. Because of the nature of my job I had to employee someone to run the business for me. One of my managers recommended a lady to me and I interviewed her, riht from the on set my mind didnt like this lady. She seemed too dull and looked like someone that would not be able to adapt to the challenges the business will throw at her. First she came late for the interview, she does not pick her calls, she is not always online and I cant get across to her whenever i want to pass useful information like funding accounts and carrying out some transactions. My life savings is what I use to run this business and I have even borrowed some money from friends and colleagues to invest in the business. Though she exceeded her target for the day but I she hasnt picked my calls and she is yet to return my calls. Please advise me. I dont want to think too much |
i just did a pet project for flexzeetunes for the song a place of love & togetherness. I hope you all love it. I wish lalasticlala and mynd44 can take it to front page to encourage me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysct938Zonk |

jashar:even the business churches? Most churches have lost their sense of responsibility. One of the main essence of a church to succumb to the needy and support the poor. What we see today is far from it |
ifyalways:if he were to be one, he would probably have a bucket or plastic or something he uses to hawk. saw that guy there last year |

SixDividedByTwo:yup for over a year. |
WetinConsignMe:wetinconsignme I am not bothered by the haircut, maybe lalasticlala can move to front page |
Was dashing somewhere when I saw this boy sleeping under the bridge at university of uyo Annex on a Sunday morning. From investigations I carried out, this homeless boy has been sleeping there for over a year. It's sad we have a church opposite the bridge , 2 churches & one mosque in uniuyo close to the bridge and over 20 churches around the school environment but no one is willing to save this child. I saw lots of injuries on his body and he looks quite unkempt . Since the church has failed him. I am hoping Nairaland can save the boy o. if I do get some money today I am planning to get him some clothes and treat his wound.
