Dhtml or you, I dont really care about, my point is una no need all this long talk, I thought there was a way programming challenges were done here

Which challenge?? He threw the first punch and its my turn to send him his own question. So he has 1 point na(on the house).
My brother... I see you are trying to make a point but i really do not see any reason for this long thread... Because some are silent does not mean you or dhtml are better coders, the more reason why such topics just turn me off, when one person start challenging others, ufffffffff! well as the topic says, it is an issue with you and dhtml and I see you weren't expecting the "punch" to come in that manner.

Now you start talking again, i thought you will say the full code was wrong again. What i gave earlier was a prototype that an advanced programmer can read - it was not meant to be compiler friendly or really run. But then, i have completed it so that an idiot can read and run it too - and you are annoyed eh?

The problem with you is that you are old-school, i am sure if i challenge you to a qbasic 4.5 competition, you might actually win. Or watfor77 (if you truly started coding in 1998, you will know what that means) contest.
Me I know sha grin... #underthehood

It is time we end all this talk..OP I am currently working on a project out of the country, im rounding up soon, I want to challenge you, thank you
ProgrammingRe: The Greatest Programmer On Nairaland by CodeHouse: 10:09am On Feb 25, 2016
Indeed a long thread, can't possibly read it all but I agree that to settle any "e-quarrel", as suggested by the Op, a challenge is the solution but is there really a need for that?

Poll or competition. Poll is human generated. We engage in a challenge, you bring a problem and i try to solve it. You must be able to solve it too and i bring a problem and you try to solve it. We can go into any field(gaming, console apps, cloud apps, desktop etc) or pick specific fields(web development). Waiting for you..........
Abeg forget web development, talk real serious core programming, web development mock up scripts is all over the internet for copy and paste

@OP, it is even not acceptable to distribute an app (no-matter-what) as purely an EXE, just like that (without any form of packaging).

Hello everyone! I am a physics student currrently in my 300 level in the Southeast. I intend to embark on a project inspired by the loss of my PC. My freaking laptop was stolen and I couldn't do anything!!! The thing is I am competent with circuits designs and interfacing but what I intend to do requires a computer scientist (female) who is very good in all variants of C programming. Please if you know anyone who can be a good workmate I will appreciate. I stay in Enugu. Contact me via 09095424076 (call/whatsapp) or skherald97@gmail.com
Oga from this your post topic, this is really serious...send me a mail lets know what you want to do, note i'm not a female programmer grin

I need a sincere advice from experienced folks on a passive investment of 250000naira for 6months that can yield a 50000 naira profit and also recoup my investment after the six months period.
Well if you want to take the "advantage" of the rising dollar, send me a mail, im currently not in Nigeria, just so you know. I am not happy to see naira falling for dollar like a lady would for a guy but the truth is whether naira falls or not, banks and individuals have been making money through conversion of currency.

We could all pretent it's not an issue to avoid offending anybody.
You dont always have to offend someone when you correct them, take the right approach and if the person seem to take it as an offence, even when it is obvious that you corrected constructively, we wont be having this conversation, it is really not an issue but you made it one... Its ok mate, how's the java going?

I meant front page of this section (programming) . Not front page of Nairaland forum. It's currently on frontpage now. I thought my context was clearly understood. Besides,it's unlikely such a thread would ever grace the main front page!

Sorry, but i think of the boards /sections/rooms as having their own frontpage (page1 or is it 0).

"lose status ... " = slide to page2 and keep sinking (gladly) into NL's abyss.
If you had used the right choice of words, you wouldn't need too much clarifications... besides programming section has no front page as there are no front pages on all other sections, it is a thread of posts and will eventually move downwards as new posts are created unless it is made a sticky post by the admin.

You also know that this particular post cannot be made sticky by all NL standards.

You see correction is good as it helps people become better but the method you have chosen to correct him is the issue.
