Wrong! No company uses those languages, they keep getting irrelevant evey second,even as I post this. Listen to what dhtml is saying..AND it isn't like they aren't programming languages but irrelevant in today's IT sphere.

Well when I said "give all not to go there" I was not laying emphasis on the "money" aspect only but all it takes - time, righteousness, fellowship with God, etc

As christians our pastors are our priest..we follow biblical laws and norms..nobody is saying, you in particular should bring your tithe to the chuch of God..but those, like myself who have decided to follow such pinciples, read Malachi 3:10 but hey don't stop there, read on to 12th and 13th verses and see what I see.

See it is a principle that works. No need to argue, if you don't want to pay tithe, nobody will beat you, just that you might not unlock what others have unlocked.

Well, building a directory for today's people should go beyond "specialization" as you cannot predict human want. If it were some other site then you can be talking of specialization, just as I can't go to car website to order for burger. A car site is a specialized kind of site but yes you can decide to go for options A or B. Pause and think, it will take thesame code to implement both, so I go with @SpikesC

Good but make it look user friendly, I would not like to type in numbers but click em, so create a pad with all the numbers and the aithmetic operations and of course with the "=" sign.

Also, allow only numbers not Alphanumeric. Let the result be in the fomat "Answer: 8+3=11" so that the input field can be cleared automatically without users having to clear it by themselves.

Are you currently studying computer science or you just want to delve into it. Firstly, you have to appreciate it and have a reasonwhy you want to go into it as it requires time and total commitment.

Learn modern programming languages. Database and programming works simultaneously, so in the course of learning how to program, you will learn how to interact with databases.

Decide if you want to be a web, mobile or desktop programmer and work at it..google is your friend and besides, check the first two topics on the pogramming section, you will find your answers.

blueyedgeek: I'm just using it for practice and it's not a web template per se, I just started familiarizing myself with the bootstrap framework and I might have over used it for the overall layout but everything you see there, I hand - coded from scratch using notepad++. I used filler text generated from lipsum.com for the content and the icons were gotten from flaticons.

Since you are so sure that it is an edited web template then I think I must really be improving.

What type of "APPLICATION?"

Well anything could have happened. Another factor to consider is that Nairaland was brought down by its users, it was over burdened and Seun and his Team took time out to upgrade, deleting and pruning the site. I might be wrong in all but...

What do you expect in a forum where one person has 40 usernames? The user statistics of nairaland, I do not trust..I moderate in other forums (not Nigerian) and one of the rules is that one user could only have a username and that alone has curbed scamming because IP wether static or dynamic is tied to a username. If you post fom the same IP with different usernames, you get a ban.

Today, nairaland is not even safe for transaction, you could get scammed in autos, or wherever section and the same scammer will be trying to help you catch the theif because he has 30 usernames to switch to.

If you ban a username, the same person opens another in 5 seconds, why not ban IPs? On my forum, I ban IPs.

Where are all the hidden posts, do they get deleted? What about post that are irrelevant? Just like Nigeria, Nairaland lack proper maintenance culture.

Any site could be hacked, I could even hack nairaland, with my team, seriously no sweat! But why would I want to do that?

Another pertinent question here is what exactly did the hacker access? Usernames? Your Likes and Mentions? Do you have your bank details here on NL? Your Post, which one in particular? Why not that post?...ufffffff!
So the issue is not about hacking, but sanitation done by nairaland team.

Did you not read the error code and message from cloudfare each time you try to connect?

Just try to be bold, unless you copied the proposal and even if you did, get youself prepared.

1. The fields should be strictly numeric, not alpha numeric..users should be able to type in numbers only, I checked and observed that alphabets could be typed in the fields.

2.Choice of colour is not inviting..I mean the blue colour, instead use web friendly colours.
