Cecegracen: @all, I am actually a female, unfortunately, I am not a programmer, but I understand from my knowledge of expert system (theory) that it has to do with heuristic. Bottom line, i cant even program in simplest programming language talk more of Expert system.

And the money for it is not there too

just kidding, this should guide you.

get all the symptoms of malaria, get all of typhoid
then create a form in the language or platform you were taught.

lets say malaria has 5 symptoms, typhoid has 5 with 3 from both sides intercepting
then your form should have a 7 dropdown or select formasking how the patient is feeling.
it will be 7 because 3 extras from the intercept has been removed

then in your code, do a check

if-else is what you need and i believe you must have been taught
you will be doing 3 checks
malaria, typhoid and "sorry, we can't diagnose"

i encourage you to put some effort into writing the initial code and let us correct you.
that way, you will learn.

Cecegracen: @Code house and all, am sorry, I just got the chance to view my thread. It is a mini project needed within 4 days. Just a simple program that will be able to determine if one has malaria and typhoid based on the info the user or patient will supply. The only difference is that it must be an expert system
