What sort of stupid assumption is that? I haven't even told you where I came from and you are actually assuming my ancestral lands is underdeveloped. And what suggests to you that I am "eyeing" other people's lands?
you don't have to tell where you come from before I know you come from an under developed land

if your ancestral land is developed then you would not be eyeing other people's lands...

go and call out your own politicians and develop your ancestral lands..

stop been covetous and greedy..

What sort of question is that in bold? You think people decide to settle somewhere else without good reasons? It's like asking Nigerians why they want to japa and become immigrants somewhere else.
Nigerians japa because they want to earn a better currency than the Naira..

the whole of Nigeria uses Naira...

so why would a Nigerian want to leave their ancestral land where they are already earning in Naira to another person's ancestral land where that land is also using the same Naira..

You just said nonsense. You think I am not old enough to identify tribalism when I see it?
the same tribalism that is making you overlook and turn a blind eye to the under-development of your ancestral lands caused by politicians you share the same tribe with is what you are accusing others that are not the same tribe as you...

go and call out your politicians that are stealing and under-developing your ancestral lands that is making you to eye other peoples ancestral land who have hard working politicians who progressing and developing their own ancestral lands..

since you cannot call out your own tribes politicians for corruption and under-development then you are a tribalist and a hypocrite.

infact you are a hypocrite and tribalist...

It will significantly reduce tribalism because people will be encouraged to settle outside their ancestral lands without the fear of being second class residents. It encourages Nigerians to mix up, and the more we mix up the more we get comfortable with each other and realize focusing on tribal differences is just pointless.
why do you want to settle outside your ancestral land where you are already 1st class citizens and go to where you will always be 2nd class citizens.

people will always be 2nd class citizens where they don't control the politics and are not the majority..

you cannot force the majority to treat you as 1st class citizens unless you control the politics of that state or use a higher authority like Kalu is doing now to try to change the laws which means there's no difference between you, Kalu and killer herd:smen terrorists....

You cannot want Nigeria to remain as one country without wanting one Nigeria. They're mutually exclusive!

Yoruba ronus, it's either Nigeria stay as one country where every citizen has equal rights or Nigeria disintegrate and every go to their ethnic nationality as a small independent country
your tongue is deceiving you...

you claim you want equal rights but in truth and reality you don't want equal rights what you want is equal privileges..

you already have equal rights... you just don't have equal privileges...

the only way to get equal or superior privileges is by taking political power from the indigenes and this is you, Senator Kalu's and the f:ula:nis main goal..

How do you expect the natives to be wiped? The natives will always be very much higher in population so how exactly will that wipe out happen? You mean Yorubas will go and wipe out the Igbos in the east and the Igbos will go and wipe out the Yorubas in the west? Does that make sense to you? Some of you just talk without using your brains.
In case you have not noticed it..

All races in the world are fighting for SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST whether it is a:rabs, e:uropeans, A:sians, the different African races in Africa that you guys belittle by calling them "tribes" e.t.c..

What you call tribalism is patriotism and nationalism to the people you are accusing of tribalism and you are only calling them tribalists because they do not support the political candidate you support and that makes you the true tribalist..

Again, SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST means it is foolish of Yorubas to vote an anti-yoruba person and someone who has anti-yoruba hatred and sentiments..

Our southern governors need to use our security vote to start massive cattle rearing projects in the hands of NATIVES to check the Fulanis onslaught in the south.
The pilot phase should include agreement by state governments to provide veterinary services, good breeds at subsidized rate and eventually buy the adult cows, milk, hides, bones, horn and manure from the individual farmers at good price and transport it to processing zones or markets.
(All these farms MUST BE RANCHED ).
This is using a bird to kill two stone by introducing the south back into cattle rearing business (remember the herdsmen use this as a guise to stay inside our forest and cause mayem ,if this is done many of them will return back to their country or state of Origin.
Also the move will provide agro.processing opportunities for our people and investors and also give us an opportunity to take back our cash and keep it within our regions.
Note:over 75_83 % of cattles produced or imported from Nigeria neighbours ends up in the south and middle belt as average hausa or even Fulanis don't consume beef .

EducationRe: Why British Boarding Schools Are So Eager To Open In Nigeria - BBC by codemaniacs: 6:19pm On Apr 01, 2025
Lekan239:
Your response completely ignores historical context and oversimplifies the role of the British in Nigeria’s development. While I’m not here to glorify colonial rule, pretending that Nigeria had a robust infrastructure before the British came is misleading.

First, if the British "did nothing," how do you explain the railway system, ports, and administrative structures that allowed Nigeria to function as a single entity? Yes, they built these for economic reasons, but they still laid the foundation for modern transport and governance in the country. Even our legal and educational systems are based on what they left behind.

You claim the British didn’t build universities, but what about the University College Ibadan (now UI), which was founded in 1948 under British rule? What about Kings College Lagos (founded in 1909) and several other secondary schools that produced Nigeria’s first generation of elites? It’s easy to dismiss these institutions today, but they shaped the first set of leaders who took over at independence.

It’s also not true that the British didn’t build roads, hospitals, or housing estates. The first major road networks, hospitals like Lagos General Hospital (1893), and various government quarters in places like Lagos and Enugu were all developed under colonial rule. If they "left Nigeria to rot," then why were things still functioning better in the early years after independence compared to the decay we see today?

Now, let’s talk about what happened after they left. If we claim that all development in Nigeria was done by Nigerians post-independence, then why is the country still struggling despite 60+ years of self-rule? What have we done with the massive oil wealth that could have transformed Nigeria? Instead of blaming colonialism forever, shouldn’t we ask why our own leaders across ALL regions failed to develop the country further?

Blaming the British for Nigeria’s current state is an excuse. "Many countries that were colonized have moved on and developed." Why is Nigeria different? The real issue isn’t what the British didn’t do; it’s what Nigerians have refused to do for themselves since independence.
University college ( now UI ) was not a degree awarding university.. it was an institution like a O levels where you get a certificate that permits the person to go and study in a university in England..

Out of over 300 ethnic nations in Nigeria. from 1820 to 1960 ( 140 years ) you can only mention University college ( now UI ) and shame did not catch you..

the british were the ones working in those railway system, ports, and administrative structures that the british function as a single entity and not Nigeria.. for over 140 years they could not pave all the roads in Nigeria, build seaports in Nigeria to the point that after 1960 unpaved roads filled the whole of Nigeria and even in 2025 just 65 years Nigerians themselves have built and pave more roads than the bri:tish did in 140 years and under developing NIgeria.. More ports have been built by Nigerians in 65 years and thousands of administrative structures have been built by Nigerians themselves in 65 years in less time that the british spent over 140 years and did nothing...

It is western influence that devalues the naira which spoilt the purchasing power of every Nigerian and causes Nigeria to struggle.

you don't understand their hatred for black people globally especially those in Africa..

india annual budget is ₹48 trillion which is equal to $560 billion ( with a population over 1.4billion people

while Nigeria annual budget is ₦49 trillion which is equal to $30 billion ( with a population of 200million people )..

the point is Western powers claim Nigeria's population is the reason for ₦ Naira's bad currency conversion to the dollar..

but India with a population 7 seven times Nigeria's own is not affected by the same policy that causes Nigeria's bad currency conversion to the dollar..

if you reduce india annual budget to ₹28 trillion similar to Nigeria ₦28 trillion..

india's ₹28 trillion is still equal to $326 billion...

South Africa R2.59 trillion is equal to $138.5 billion due to the whyte boers that stayed there.

the Naira is a weapon fashioned against Nigeria and Nigerians by the Western powers.

Lekan239:
Sorry, I have a few words for you, and I hope you won’t stop reading along the way.
It’s funny how you talk about being myopic while pushing a biased, tribal narrative yourself. You conveniently ignore the fact that Nigeria’s problems are systemic, not just about one tribe or colonial rule.

1. British Rule & Development – If the British were so bad, why do you think Nigeria was far more organized under them than it is now? No, we didn’t have 24/7 electricity, but the infrastructure they left behind was far better maintained than what we have today. What have we done since independence? Loot, mismanage, and blame others instead of fixing our own problems.

2. Rail & Infrastructure – You claim their rail system was for selfish interests, yet even that “selfish” infrastructure outperformed the useless projects our own leaders have attempted. Tell me, since the British left, what have our governments done with trillions of oil revenue?

3. Education & Religious Requirements – You talk about religious influence in education, yet you fail to acknowledge that most of the best schools in Nigeria today were established by missionaries and colonial influence. What have we done with our universities since independence? ASUU strikes and poor funding!

4. Biafra & Innovation – Yes, the Igbo people displayed remarkable ingenuity during the war, but stop acting like it’s only one tribe that has smart people. If Nigeria is underdeveloped today, it’s not just because of marginalization—it’s because of poor leadership from all regions. If Igbo politicians were so different, why has Abia State suffered under Igbo governors for decades?

Development isn’t about glorifying the past or playing the victim—it’s about taking responsibility and moving forward. If the Igbo people are as innovative as you claim, why haven’t the South-East governors turned their states into the “Japan of Africa” without waiting for federal support?

Nigeria’s failure is not just because of the British or one tribe—it’s because of a lack of accountability across the board. If you truly want progress, stop using tribal sentiments as an excuse and start demanding good governance from your own people first
before the br:itish left Nigeria, the Br:itish from 1820 - 1960 did not build one university, our number of primary and secondary schools were very low, br:itish did not build smooth roads all over Nigeria , no housing estates, no plans for clean water for communities, no hospitals, no universities, no teaching hospitals, no vocational centers, no power plants, majority of the private companies where owned by the br:itish and they only gave Nigerians clerical work which is what the education system they gave us is meant to produce office assistants.

All the developments you see in Nigeria today from Abuja to lagos to calabar to Akwa-ibom to oyo to Enugu e.t.c are all built by Nigerians, our parents, our grand parents e.t.c the br:itish left Nigeria to rot. Everything you had and have the privilege of enjoying in Nigeria was and is through the hardwork of parents, grand parents, and other Nigerians.

the bri:tish leave the people more devastated than they earlier met them. If not for the hardwork and peaceful nature of our ancestors in southern Nigeria, southern Nigerians will be in poverty because the bri:tish created Nigeria in a way where Northern and Southern Nigeria will engage in endless wars...

after over 140 years in Nigeria.. the british did nothing for Nigeria and Nigerians..

Nomadic tribes cause famine by feeding herbivores animals which leads to desertification.

The globalists Jews want a return to Jewish colonialism aka corporatism.

This is what WEF is pushing and it is to replace governments with appointed WEF corporate heads

The Ibo foolishness is being activated to ensure another civil war that will lead to a failed state and from then on a UN Mandate imposed on the country from where a Western Corporation will oversee the country's affairs .

This isn't far fetched. An example of the above is Ukraine that is now fully owned by Jewish BlackRock Group. The entire reason for the senseless provocked war in Ukraine is to depopulate it and make room for Jewish corporation to seize the land over war debt claims. The Ukrainians were stupid but they never envisaged how stupid they were to follow a Jewish homosexual comedian to fight Russia to the death.

People fail to see that communism was a Jewish invention financed by Jewish capitalist for the sole reason to turn the Russian empire to a Jewish slave run cooperation.

Communism is extreme capitalism and the biggest beneficiaries to any communist order are capitalists

Jewish capitalists raped Russia dry under communism.

Jewish capitalist money funded Mao's rise to power and his communist revolution. Today , Jewish capitalists are in bed with the CCP

The Jewish capitalists loves communism because communism is slavery to which slavery is the corner stone of Jewish religion as decreed in the hook of Leviticus

Jewish capitalists are the ones who dominated the Atlantic slave trade. These same Jews were behind colonialism as a protectionist racket for their exploitation spots. The European will later have empathy and compassion and brought Christian ideals in their colonialism and prevented further Jewish exploitation by banning the slave trade and preventing Jewish ursury to take root. This is what led Jews after WW2 to campaign furiously for an end to colonisation. They did so, so as to get rid of the European so that they can continue their exploitation and indebtedness of Africa

Ask yourself this: at independence no African country outside those under French colonial rule was indebted to any Jewish financial institution. But almost immediately after gaining independence , African countries began falling into Jewish debt traps. In Nigeria this arise due to the war debt accumulated from a senseless and needless war instigated by Jews using their useful idiot Ibo Marxists.

Even today , the provocations are loudest from this same yeasterners with their insensitive Biafra expansionism.

Your opinion does not hold because those kids you referenced are full Yoruba under cultural and civic laws. The Nigerian constitution does not allow bi-ethnic to benefit from 2 identities. They are expected to choose one of their parents' tribe and state of origin.

Do not use that Omo ale jati jati chinedu GRV as a yardstick as he is never ethnically Yoruba . His family is originally Sato and saros are returnee slaves and most that retained European names were originally from the SE who refused to go back toj that shit hole .

GRV's mum is Yoruba and his wife is Yoruba , so his children are not in anyway Yoruba but rather Ibo thinking like their father who said he doesn't think in Yoruba.

GRV is a bad example for inter tribal union and that's because of his simp father who let one yam leg raise his own children to hate the Yoruba tribe that the GRV family had adopted and lived in their land

Keep inviting players who can’t last for more than 65 mins and keep losing games at home?
it is the coach that is meant to create the formations and game plays that leads to the players scoring goals and how they defend and how they keep possession..

that's why in my paranoid mind I believe either Eguavoen ( the technical director ) or a group of people in the NFF are the ones forcing the coaches to use certain formations which end up giving the SE same bad results.

if the coach would rather be stubborn and leave tired players on the pitch to defend when there are fit players on the bench then it is the coach's fault..

Ekong, Iwobi, Bassey, Lookman, Aina are foreign born players which means they cannot handle 90mins of Nigerian heat or African heat on the field so them playing more than 65 - 70 mins should be an abomination...

Nigerian players with the attitude of Onyeka who can run all over field should be the ones getting invited.

Foreign born players are good but they should not be allowed to play full match especially since they will start the next match.

NFF and most Nigerians don't consider players fatigue and tiredness from previous matches can affect their performances..
