Kibbs: Just leave that one. Let him keep capping. They are two on this thread I’ve noticed that argue without any sense whatsoever. I won’t tag them cus it’s a waste of time to argue with them so just ignore . Even if they quote you, ignore. Don’t feed them, let them be. What I did not say to mowah was that Randy was allowed to pick a limited number of younger players and he also respected the fact that the older players were senior players of the team and probably due to the Nigerian coaches advise he kept the older players on... Randy did not play most of the players regularly and I'm sure and hope that after this tournament he won't call them up.. the only older player he would call up might be Oshoala due to her goal-scoring abilities and the fact that without the 3rd goal she scored against Australia the S.F won't have made it to the round of 16. I hope Randy does an Arteta on the team and completely axes all the older players except Asisat Oshoala. In 4 years time for another World Cup, all the players would the 4 years older and some of them would tire easily.. I expect Kanu, Gift Monday, Onumonu or other younger strikers whether foreign born to start replacing Oshoala as soon as possible. |

mostob: It is like you have a little screw in your head that got loose recently. I don tell you not to quote me with your senseless rubbish you call opinions.
We asked you to name the youngsters you want in the team and who they should replace, you ran off with your tail between your legs. You think I was joking when I said you argue like a kid? Did you ever consider what these youngsters would offer the team? You no go let us rest ontop Ajakaiye who is not as good as Bello or Mercy. We must sha play them because Colombia played Linda and Italy played that 16-year old kid. Guy, dey look moniker well before quoting next time. I named the players and you're the one that ran away with your tail between your legs saying the players were too young and inexperience and I said if the coaches and NFF don't force experience on them by calling them up they will never ever get experience. I mentioned Sebastian, Ajakaye, Onyenezidane, Mercy Idoko and said they should replace Oparanozie, Ordega and Ebi.. I am 100% sure if it was a Nigerian coach that took the S.F to the World Cup the likes of Rita Chikwelu and other old midfielders and players would have been called up and we won't have gotten out of the group stage and would have conceded at least 3 goals each in all the group matches. It is people with your mentality against youth and younger players that need to be far from anything Nigerian sports. the younger players won't get experience by been ignored due to coaches with your mentality.. Football is a sport with intense physical activity. the older you get the less physical stress the body can take and the less distance. in sports, the older you get the more injuries the player would have gone through and this affects performance and distance players can cover and that is why older players retire from sports because their body can no longer perform anymore. |

BascoVanVeli: Let us get the penalty first. We're playing against Whyte supremacists.. Super Falcons should not be looking for penalty or favorable decisions from the referee. They should upgrade their chance creation tactics and score normal goals. Despite En:gland getting a red card and playing with 10 players that was when Super Falcons started playing as if Super Falcons had 9 players on the field. With the right tactics and right substitutes Super Falcons would have won that match easily. |

daveP: Omo. You pack receipt o👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😃 It was too much o I wanted to call them out when Ordega and Oparanozie came in during the match and I didn't see or notice the impact of their presence on the field but I just decided to keep quiet and was just shaking my head anytime Ordega was spoiling our possession. I didn't even notice Oparanozie was on the field. At a point it was as if Super Falcons were playing with 9 players. |

daveP: Despite the red, those English defenders were using 1-2-3 passes to beat our marking. Annoyed me gaan. We started ours on the right but nothing came from them. Ajibade will be on wind and nobody within view to pass to except that useless cross that we can never ever utilize to threaten a dove.
If we get deputies to the 3 players that Randy loves, he won't need to make subs that aren't helpful in the long run. Besides, an attacker supposed to have an instinct that a tackle can win a pk. We had 3 such time when that should have been the next line of action but they all didn't think so.
Super Falcons better find one camp to train for setpieces prior to olympics You're right. Our players were too static. SF players will pass the ball and stand in the same position instead of running to a new position while the En:glish players will pass and run forward to another position with their other players also running forward and creating new passing channels for them to pass to. |

daveP: The logic i was using alll the while, yet many thought i was capping.
If Imuran becomes a zinchenko tomorrow, everyone will know that going to such grand stage has helped her thinking and mentality. Demehin is also inexperienced and despite a good outing, it was glaring. I'll prefer that kind upfront in worst case scenario. 16-20yos wre starting for their countries and they're not that talented. Time waits for no woman. You're correct. When I said Ajakaye, Sebastian, onyiniZidane should be invited NLusers like mostob deltamani kibbs rained abuses on me. Anyway I hope they have seen what their Ordega, Oparanozie, Glory Ogbonna all played. See what some said below. isan: Rubbish mostob: I'm sorry to say, you analyse football like a toddler at times. I'm here LMAO Kibbs: It is my pleasure to tell you that everything you typed from top to bottom absolutely makes so sense and reeks of sentiments without any sensible logic whatsoever. You’ll be fine. Danielnino00: Don't belittle Nnadozie like that...Those of us that watched her at the u-20 world cup in 2018 prior to the women world cup the following year can attest to how good she was .. she and Ajibade were exceptional out of that poorly coached team lead by Danjuma... She rightly earned her spot in the world cup squad... Flourish and Ajakiaye are talented, but we have enough players in their position currently so they will have to wait their time, plus, let's be honest, they are still raw... There's plenty of time on their side... Deltamani: So where does Onumonu and Oparanozie play?? mostob: I should be ashamed? SMH I just finished reading your gaffe at the other thread only to come here and meet another one.
The question I asked is who are these U20s replacing? Do you even know the meaning and importance of exposure? We're talking coaching here, you are promoting U20 agenda. A coach that can not properly manage professional and experienced players, how will he manage the upcoming ones? The fact that it works for Colombia doesn't mean it will work for us oga. Try dey think before you write (type). Man said I should be ashamed mostob: Who should they replace please? Because Colombia fielded their U20 players, we should do same too? Name the U20 players that should make the team and those that should make way for them in the current squad. |

daveP: Sadly, it all still ricochet back to Glass House. If they have a style, they'll employ coaches based on that as well. Just like how Sarina changed a lot of things with England, for example. I don't have a problem with Demehin that noticeable. The question is all those balls she gave, how were there utilized by Rash/Oshoala/etc.
Another crux is Nnadozie needs to learn goalkicks. See the reach of Earps and precise.
Its the end, I don't want it to look like we focusing on the -ve really. We've had some +ves. But style of play and with personnel that can be moulded to fit possession is welcome.
Personally if Onyenezide was in this lineup, she'll be the most fouled. Time for her to get her chance so that by next WWC, we have a better approach to attack. Her or anyone else found to be worth it. You're right.. the only reason I have a problem with Demehin playing long balls is because the midfielders and strikers don't know how to pass the ball among themselves and anytime Demehin played the long ball forward to Oshoala or Ajibade could not keep possession, sometimes they will run ahead of ball and the defender will clear or they will head the ball and the midfielders won't be able to control it or they will head the ball forward and try to outrun the defender to get the ball. it would have been better if Demehin passed to Plumptre then Plumptre passes the ball to the winger or midfielder using 1 - 2 passes or runs forward with the ball like she was doing in the 1st half first 20 minutes. this is where Onumonu is better than Oshoala and the reason why Onumonu should play as a CAM when Oshoala comes because Onumonu knows how to keep ball and link the midfield with the attack. |

BascoVanVeli: That was definitely a penalty in the first half of extra time. I just put it on my website, it was clear as day. Once again we were robbed by FIFA.
https://naijabiasfootball.com/ Would they have scored the penalty? What Super Falcons needs is learning how to pass the ball effectively and effortlessly and play ultra possession football. they also need another goal scoring forward apart from Asisat and better FullBacks and midfielders so that the wingers or a midfielder can be in box when the fullbacks have the ball and play as wide forwards. not having players in the box and outside the box made us lose chances. |

do4luv14: Now I See why Amaju went for Randy after Dennebyer left He wants to change our style of play, and gives direction, which Randy had effortlessly been doing,
For the first time in a very loooonnng time, SF let in just 2 goals in a World Cup proper, asin just 2goals
Nff renew his contract asap, while looking for a spon9to take care of his wages NFF would use the money to fund the Super Eagles, fly private jets, pay for presidential suites for NFF offficials than use it to improve the Super Falcons players and coaches welfare, style of play and training facilities. |

JohnBullMySon: Generally the teams tend to have poor social media handling.
However that doesn't mean that training is not going on. With what I have seen from the Super Eagles and Super Falcons training does not go on... especially with what they share on social media.. Both teams have been playing the same style of play for the last 25 years and no improvement.. |

Curtisaxel10: Meanwhile, I wonder what on earth Waldrum sees in Ordega. If I didn't know better, I would have suspected that Franny's nice derriere may have secretly gracing the gaffer's sheets after dark🙂.
And Oshoala was clearly off form. Probably because of her injury. Onumonu was doing absolutely fantastic in terms of pressing and link up play and there was no valid reason to take her off so early.
Oshoala's entry really blunted our attack as she could neither press well, chase loose balls, nor carry out effective link-up play. Yes, she had some bright flashes but that was all. Flashes.
Overall, the team did well. Big ups to them! Onumonu was tired. Ordega, Oparanozie, Ebi and Oshoala are there due to seniority and experience... Oshoala can only thrive in a possession based team or a team that passes the ball well from defense to offense.. she cannot dribble or drop shoulders, she can only kick the ball past her opponent and try to get the ball using pace which means she would thrive if a player like Ozil or De Bruyne or Onyinizidane or Sebastian or Ajakaye or Gift Monday was in the midfield... |

hatakekakashi: This demon came back to haunt us. We've been getting away with chaotic football since the beginning of the tournament.
The falcons should go and bring up their ball-playing to the level of at least SA. you're right. I was thinking the NFF should get SA's coach and her entire coaching staff if she resigns from SA... or they should start training on ball possession and players distance from each other.. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by codemaniacs: 11:57am On Aug 07, 2023 |
daveP: Watch as Nff prioritize other stuff and style of play will not even be on the table.
This is why i prefer ex footballers by far. Any ex footballer that's at the top and watch this our style will want a coach that changes and perfect it. Sad. SA would have scored after that red card. Their defenders were tired. The switch for Alozie should have come after the red card also. But that Alozie miss vos of left foot pain me. Sarina knows she's lucky.
I also saw a bottle with Earps. Seems they did their homework on our guys. We didn't look like we did any. Its the same style of play that affected the Super Eagles both at the Nations Cup and against Ghana.. That's why I advocate for players like Nwakali in the midfield. Demehin was the major culprit and the players distance from each other was another factor. the player Demehin was supposed to pass to kept running forward anytime Demehin got the ball and instead of Demehin to pass the ball to the other Center Back she kept playing long balls.. Both S.E and S.F need younger ball playing players like Sebastian, Ajakaye, Nathan Tella et.c.. |
