Don't get it wrong. I said for a beginner who wants to start Java s/he must have that knowledge of running code from the command line. Even if it is just a day or two. Everybody uses IDE these days.

OP look at the first 3 comments. That's what I started with. 1. NetBeans 2. Eclipse 3.IntelliJ IDEA but as a beginner you should not start with IDE, rather I would tell you to start with notepad or note++ and run your code in the command line. That way you will understand how JVM work and how you can debug your code without IDE.

MVVM is used with mostly data binding. Jetpacks components generally are new to many android dev.
You are used to MVC architecture, right? So do many dev.
Just take your time to learn it. It is simple if you get good resources for it (book or video) I recommend book though.

Think of it wars have been fought blood had been spilled for vain reasons, are perpetrators of such acts defiled death? Or did they make nigeria better? Answer yourself sincerely and lets think of how to table reasonable solutions to our national problems, support our government, wishing them bad or cursing them isn't a solution I assure you of that, Nigeria can be greater beyond our imaginations just if we can build trust and true unity.
