LegendHero: Yoruba have both. In all strata of legit earnings, the Yoruba spread the wealth out and you have them as top movers in their respective industry. This your alcoholic brand moniker always overshadow your post content. I dont know why. Legend + Hero. Two popular brands. @Topic, why is the east north or south not witnessing stampede at giveaways? |

The VAT comes from the industries that produce candies, beer, and more but not the unproductive civil workforce going for pittance every month. Govt cannot go on street and share money nor can they subsidize food lest people from Kwara, Osun and Ogun overwhelm them with patronage. |

Example: Lagos is 'collecting' all the VAT from MTN because the headquarters of MTN is Lagos. stop sounding smart. The exchange for telcos arw not spread out. |

They want to cement the injustice further by using that of crude oil money to build the foundation for sharing VAT. They already reap where they dont sow(crude oil), so want a formula thats roughly according to FAAC. Consumption tax is not a tax for the consumer but based on what is consumed in terms of value. Nobody in Kano or Kaduna is drinking FiveAlive or CocaCola to assist Lagos or Benin make money. They are satisfying their personal thirst. Same for all other Lagos produced products. |
