The Lizard people have taken over Nigeria's economy.

Russian economy in early 90s come to mind. Unless local refining capacity starts this month, the economy of Nigeria will be even more difficult next year, than we have seen in decades.

Can't the eggheads in present government consult Obasanjo on the template he used in 1999 - 2003 to stabilise the economy?
@last paragraph, politics won't let that ever happen. We are in money printing era. Things can lack in supply just give the world money. The love of money indeed is root of al kinds of evils.

nairalanda1:
Whatever you do , don't support a side in this war.

Both Israel and the Palestinians have right grievances. Israel was formed because for decades they were subject to racist persecution in all the countries they were dispersed in. Even then, most of them were not Zionists, or thinking of heading back to Palestine, until the events of 1933-45 finally convinced them

In the process, they chased out a lot of Palestinians from their land, and most of those people ended up in refugee camps. And they are still there, and they suffer a lot.

And don't use the argument that Israel used to live in that land. If we used that argument, by extension a lot of people living in many parts of the world would have to vacate their current land because they are not the original settlers. Not just Israel, African, European American , etc...would all have to go back home...since it isn't their land.

I've gone from backing Israel to being neutral. Both sides are evil, and both sides are wrong and both are also right. And yes, I am angry with Hamas, but Israel has bombed the Gaza strip for years, and thousands have died. Hamas, Hezbollah and co too have done their worset...which is why there are fences, and high security, and suffering in the Palestinian lands.

But at the end of the day, both Israel and Palestine have to come to an understanding. Both have to make compromises. Because all i see is the usual killing and killing and killing....and at the end nothing happens.

Maybe the world should just leave both sides to deal with each other, until they both recieve sense.
as usual. Trying to be relevant.

Is the earth round or flat? A god who says the earth is flat has no right to issue C of O.

The rate at which some of you Nigerian Christians are quick to identify with anything Israel is so unbelievable. Do you know your history at all? Can you handle the truth that the Jews hate everything you stand for? What about knowing that there are more Muslims in Israel than Christians? Very stupid and ignorant set of people !/
You are still operating at a tribal / ethnic level.
How can a god who says the earth is flat be the creator? The creator of earth has given "His people", israelites, the C of O of geographical isreal.

Let's give him at least 8 years to turn Nigeria to an utopia.
nonsense. He doesn't need eight years he needs to come clean that all his opinion articles idea has failed woefully.

Economics is governed by behavioural patterns of actors and Tinubu has demonstrated he has next to zero ideas or solution to offer. Can you imagine Joseph printing money after the revelation about famine came? Can you imagine the Egyptian youth becoming agberos and bandits then taxing few old men doing farm work around and Joseph is watching?
Can you imagine Joseph taxing the poor and using to import food from other nations?

Witchcraft economics is what Tinubu is trying to practice. He blamed emwfiele but performed worse than emefiele in 4 months.
Politics › Re: The Naira Problem - Joshua Best Premie by CodeTemplar:
I get OP's message. I have tried relaying it in bits over time hear too.

Money is just a numbering system backed by papers with those numbers. It was created to ease product and service exchange. As a rice farmer who want to travel to, let's say, Ghana, I cannot carry bags of rices and hit the park then start paying people with rice. That's cumbersome and prone to error. I just trade my rice for paper(money) and use that money to buy Gala/LaCasaera, give beggars, pay drivers, bike men etc.

Creation of money doesn't solve problem of lack of things. That's why Joseph stocked up when he got info about famine ahead. He didn't print more money or give tax cut as our textbook economist now do. He increased production to a level it can more than cover need. Now because of modernization and larger population, supply and demand is decentralized and it is harder for individuals to tell what is lacking in storehouses. Lack in storehouses is now reflected as increase in price.

So women are chattels to be owned? And are indeed war booty

That arguments transcends the bible though and applies to all societies

So if I want a woman all I need do is destroy her current "owner"?

Makes sense
you miss the bigger picture. The rift was triggered by God allocating his people certain land. Think about it, a god who says the earth is flat didn't create it and so doesn't know the design or details and cannot allocate that land to anyone. Just a local god of the land masquerading as creator of heaven and earth.

Can you imagine Honda laying claim onto Toyota product and printing a manual/blueprint that says the side mirrors are flat and not curvy or bulging out? That's what the Islamic god is. A trespasser.

So the issue of God giving land to the main seed of Abraham and being contested by the other seed is no big deal.

When you go to war to kidnap women for the purpose of making them wives

What is that?
after destroying the owner(s) of something in a contest over that thing, who owns it? Maybe war booty should be left for strangers then.

10 So the assembly sent twelve thousand fighting men with instructions to go to Jabesh Gilead and put to the sword those living there, including the women and children. 11 “This is what you are to do,” they said. “Kill every male and every woman who is not a virgin.” 12 They found among the people living in Jabesh Gilead four hundred young women who had never slept with a man, and they took them to the camp at Shiloh in Canaan.

13 Then the whole assembly sent an offer of peace to the Benjamites at the rock of Rimmon. 14 So the Benjamites returned at that time and were given the women of Jabesh Gilead who had been spared. But there were not enough for all of them.

15 The people grieved for Benjamin, because the Lord had made a gap in the tribes of Israel. 16 And the elders of the assembly said, “With the women of Benjamin destroyed, how shall we provide wives for the men who are left? 17 The Benjamite survivors must have heirs,” they said, “so that a tribe of Israel will not be wiped out. 18 We can’t give them our daughters as wives, since we Israelites have taken this oath: ‘Cursed be anyone who gives a wife to a Benjamite.’ 19 But look, there is the annual festival of the Lord in Shiloh, which lies north of Bethel, east of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem, and south of Lebonah.”

20 So they instructed the Benjamites, saying, “Go and hide in the vineyards 21 and watch. When the young women of Shiloh come out to join in the dancing, rush from the vineyards and each of you seize one of them to be your wife. Then return to the land of Benjamin. 22 When their fathers or brothers complain to us, we will say to them, ‘Do us the favor of helping them, because we did not get wives for them during the war. You will not be guilty of breaking your oath because you did not give your daughters to them.’”
you need comprehension, understanding, and wisdom not facts or knowledge.
