I studied Chemical Engineering. just finished my NYSC in a small oil and gas servicing company in a department called PROCESS DEPARTMENT.
Begged and begged my Boss to please retain me.  .

Now, the Management asked me if I'm willing to take the position of TECHNICAL ASSISTANT to our Engineering Manager.  . (Trainee oo).
I almost said NO because i do not know what that is. and i'm told that i have 2 options.
i then asked what are the options. they said Yes or No.  
I then said YES  .

No one has held the position before and i do not know that it is.
Please my Nairalanders,

1. what is the job of a technical assistant,
2  Can one start that as a career or call it a career?
3. Can a Technical assistant still be called an Engineer.

I'm a batch A 2011 pass-out:

2.your original call-up letter.
3. Photo copies of your certificates: birth,Degree,

4.White shorts and tops. (you will given in camp also)

simple take all ur credentials with u because y serving u be looking for jobs also.
I u know all that u need for job search, simply go with them

I want to buy a plot of land in lagos state. I asked the seller if the land has Government Gazette and Government consent.
They told me no but free from Government acquisition.
That the land was bought long ago by someone from the villagers and now he wants to sale then.
That the person has given then Power of attorney to sale the whole plots of lands (20 plots) and that they have the survey plan of the area.
Since the seller is a surveyor, I want to pay him to also survey the plot I want to buy,

Is there anything wrong in that?
I’m only told it has Global survey plan that contains 20 Plots of land and will be given Deed of assignment.
That I have to call a surveyor or pay then to survey and give me the plot I want in it.


Please can someone tell me:

1. The implication of buying land that is said to be government free from acquisition but has neither Government Gazette nor Government consent.
2. What others questions should I ask or do before paying for a plot?

Not you marrying at very old age ooo and marrying woman already old ooo.

the woman most still be young, say 18 years and the man like 35 above,
in so doing, by the time the woman has gotten to age of 30, she most hav got use to
you way and style of live.
and she feel that is the way live is.

in summary,
marry a girl that is very young,
train her the way u want her to be and when her follow,
she will not depart from it

and the marriage simply last.

it happened to me too but in AFRIBANK.

i hard only N500 in my account  and i'm charged N100 monthly by the bank. and i was xpecting only N19,800 deposit NYSC ,
but when i went to check my balance to find out if it has been deposited,
i was told my balance is N40,200.

i did not believe it, i asked den.
i asked then to tell me who deposited the N20,000 more.
on checking they found that it was a mistake by ATM.
depositor name,ATM.
they asked me not to with draw the N20k deposited my the ATM.

i den left the bank, went to zenith ATM machine to withdraw N20k.
It debited me, N20k but did not pay me,
Immediately i was called by the bank to come and deposit N500 back to my acct,
i went and complained about the non payment of the ZENITH ATM machine. they told me that i  should not worry that it willl be revered,
I waited and it did not reverce, beening in need of money,
i went and with draw N19,500 with another bank ATM.

SINCE den my atm card has not been working,
i do not know if my account has been blocked.

make u no wear suit oooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to den it will be like if u will not be serious with ur job when employed,
when engineering involves field or in machine work,

just simply dress co-operate by wearing long sleeve shirt, and plane trousers. no for any reason wear short sleeve shirt.

if na banking job,marketing job, accounting jobs ,
Na most to wear suit for the interview, and u have to look nice, like have good hair cut, in fact any other job apart from engineering job try wear suit,
i work in engineering company, any day u come to work wearing suit,
it u will look like u didn't come to work or u not feeling fine that day, and many people will be asking u y.

I live in Alpha beach Lekki Lagos State,
NEPA or what ever u call it, do give us light like 5 days in a month and it will be like 15 hours of each of the 5 days ooo,

But, since this month there has been big improvemet, to the extent that our transformer blow in the 1st week of steady light, repaired and till now 27/09/2011 we still hav light.

NEPA do take it like 30mins- 2 hours every day,
