Hmmm |
Sad. Buhari wasted 6 whole months wrangling with Tinubu over ministerial list. When he eventually did they just turned out to be same old, same old. But people heaved a sigh of relief hoping some work would get done. Few months down the line...nothing. Only a few weeks back the budget was signed into law after several back and forth with Nass and Buhari's apologists broke into a wild and ecstatic jubilation. Finally, we'll start seeing results. Nothing yet so far only excuses about how the entire budget will not be implemented this year. But we're still waiting. I wonder how long it's going to take to at least see some glimmer of hope. For goodness sakes this is one whole year wasted. Or are we still going to hear choruses like 'it's too premature to criticise the government. Give Buhari more time'. After a year of directionless, directionlessness and planless, planlessness. Oma se! |
Sigh..now all they do is wax philosophical. |
I wouldn't put it past Asari to say those things. But that source is not credible. |
Sigh, it would have been funny if it wasn't so pathetic. But watch out for the cavalry. How they'll storm this thread guns blazing. Shooting down any dissenting voice and blaming everyone else for their egregious error of judgement. |
Lol |
zik4ever:Like seriously. Retired in 2012, brought out of retirement in 2016. The mind boggles! |
The plot thickens |
Tough luck for Nigeria. This is what you get when the inequality in the system becomes overwheming. I sincerely hope these issues are addressed asap before things really get out of hand |
Hmm..the Nigerian economy is hemorrhaging badly and might just suffer a total collapse. The presidency had better get their act together and engage these militants in a peaceful and tactful manner. Rather than indulging in all these sabre rattling and meaningless posturing. |
TimothyNkenu:Lmao ![]() |
Oh |
Story is too sketchy. We need a detailed report of what transpired. |
Yawn! Poorly written script from a nondescript blog |
This is what the north with so much arable land should be looking to invest in. Agro allied products with the right infrastructure for transport, storage and preservation. Rather than chasing after petrodollars which in any event, has suffered a major slump. |
Good move |
Only in Nigeria will such an act ever make sense. You have an auto manufacturing outfit in the country but a state governor, not a private individual goes to foriegn lands to make his auto purchases for state use with tax payers money. Where else in this world is that possible without the accompanying public outcry? |
hucienda:Aswerigad they still can't figure. Hence they keep prodding him by making all sorts of snide remarks and overly aggressive statements just to push to at least say something they can hold him to. Alas,he maintains a dignified silence and this is not going down well with the APC hierarchy. I sincerely hope he maintains this posture going forward and watch this directionless administration squirm in their foolery |
freeze001:Now all has been heard/written. Here is the conclusion of the matter. Insist on equitable distribution of the nation's commonwealth and stay true to your demands. For this is the whole duty of Niger Deltans. |
Talking tough, acting tough. This should be coming from the president. Alas, it's a state governor that has taken the most decisive step yet. The irony. |
It's pretty tough living in denial these days |
The situation has gone way beyond talking points. The inequality in the system needs to be addressed. Even if they get through to the militants and urge them to sheath their swords, we'll only be kicking the can down the road. Because as long as the inequality persists, the grievances expressed therein are bound to rear up again in the not too distant future. |
Dayum..Fayose is firing on all cylinders! Way to go! |
Until the philosophy which holds one ethnic region superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned, everywhere is war! War in the east, war in the west, war up north, war down south. War and rumours of war. And until that day, dream of lasting peace, an egalitarian society governed by the rule of law will remain but a fleeting iĺlusion to be pursued but never attained. |
I love the finer things in life but i gotta admit, this is a tad bit much for me |
Hmm |
Lwkm the guy no get chill |
I hope this one can at least justify the fact that she was about to sit for a WAEC paper before she was abducted. The whole scenario is becoming ludicrous. In any event, i'm happy for her. |
Interesting |
Lol@ 'i'm not with them'. Shìt just hit the fan |
