according to Doctrine, Tithe is 10% of whatever money (that is unattached to executing a specific purpose) enters your hand, NOT just whatever MONEY enters your hand.

So if you're given 10,000 to pay school fees you don't need to tithe from it,

Or if you're given 5,000 to buy a specific handout it is foolish tithing from it cos then you won't be able to purchase it anymore.

But if you're given 10,000 as pocket money and you feel the need to tithe by all means do so as the money is yours to spend anyhow you like.

Irony is Jesus never tithed; not He or the Apostles,

Abraham tithed because he was inspired to do so, and tithed ONLY of the spoils of war (and not his personal possessions) and never tithed again till he died.

Isaac never tithed, Jacob vowed to tithe but never did, Joseph never tithed.

At the end of the day, we are compelled to support the Ministry of the Church and Evangelism, but according to the New Testament you are to give to God freely and cheerfully, else whatever percentage you give grudgingly (or because the Man of God said so) is wasted and forfeit.

Phones / Re: That Awkward Moment Your Phone Is Faster Than Your Laptop! by coldHeat: 7:36am On Dec 12, 2017
This is the same phone where you'll most likely
Open whatsapp,
Open Firefox to view nairaland,
Then open gmail,
Reply a chat on whatsapp,

Then on switching back to Firefox it loads all your pages all over again, eating more MB.

Welcome to android OS, even if you have 10GB ram, android is written with the java language, and unlike windows or apple which is written with C# (if I can remember correctly), cannot efficiently manage RAM.

What your 6GB ram is doing a windows phone with a more superior OS (windows 10) will tank quietly with 1GB MB ram or less. I didn't believe it until I saw it.

I doubt very strongly that a windows 10 laptop with 2GB ram cannot match your 6GB ram phone.

It is not about how much memory you have, but how your OS shares and manages resources.

Perhaps with future updates lagging will perish in android, but I doubt that era is upon us.

Family / Re: My Wife Donated All Our Life Savings (10million) As Tithe In Church by coldHeat: 12:59pm On Dec 07, 2017
If she did so without his consent then he has every right to get his money back from the church. Except he is led otherwise.

When will people learn?

Read Genesis 12, then Genesis 15,
God first of all called Abraham out of his father's house, then He blessed Abraham (Genesis 15:1) before He ever asked Abraham to offer a sacrifice. This is to let us know that the blessing always comes to empower us with grace and dunamis for whatever work He has cut out for us.

You don't sow to be blessed,
You don't tithe to be blessed,

Why?
Because God has blessed you with every blessing that is available in Christ Jesus. He has already given us everything we would need for life and godliness, we only need to place ourselves in His Perfect Will. Giving to be blessed by God as a doctrine is so unscriptural it is heresy!

Ephesians 1:3 GNT
"Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world."

2 Peter 1:3 AMP
"For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue)."

I don't give to be blessed, I give to the church and to others because I am blessed. Giving cannot make me an blesseder than I am right now.

Proverbs 10:22 AMP
"The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it]."

But Giving to the church and to others in great need will help minister the Life, Light & Love of God to them.

Paul even said if you want to give an offering and you're not cheerful about it, don't give it.
It is not by force to give in church,

And it is our acts of love and purpose that invokes the Presence and the Power of Yahweh,
Not our sacrifices. Go and ask Saul the Primera King of Israel.

Many pastors are using the ignorance of people to collect money and enrich their ministries ego.

I wonder why didn't the pastor ask her if her husband was aware of it?

Even if we assume she was led by the Lord to do so, why would she not let her husband know of it?

The Lord help us that "we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith." 2 Thessalonians 3:2

Eventually we all will be mocked or celebrated for our innermost convictions, ideas and ideals.

If you are openly confronted concerning the matter then speak the truth about what happened.

If people are talking behind you then that's where they belong; behind you, not deserving your notice or attention.

After all, a lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of sheep.

As for the lady; women love men that can read their minds or gauge their emotions; well, news flash! Men are not Elyon, so they must speak their thoughts at all times and communicate their minds via actions.

Two things cannot be hidden for long; the sun and the truth.

You can either choose to reveal the truth now or choose to ignore what the gossips are saying.

In time people will come to know the truth.

Kudos for keeping to your convictions.

And kudos to her for revealing her true nature to you; at least you know she isn't wife material.

Why will you continuously lie to a man you claim you love and want to spend the rest of your life with?
That was your first mistake.

Your second is your desire to be unfaithful to him in a relationship and further keep that unfaithfulness by taking the innocent lives of people you willfully and foolishly brought into being with your calculated acts of senseless lust.

Your third mistake will be believing you still deserve him and this marriage can still work;

No, not with your lies, confusion, immaturity and inability to control your libido.

If your marry him, eventually your marriage will flounder, because you will continue to use lies and adultery to sustain it.

I personally give it 2 years tops.

What should you do?

Either you call it off, telling him it won't work.

Or you tell him the truth about everything, (including the abortions and the fornications); its better he knows everything he is getting himself into; and anyone who advises you otherwise isn't your friend.

Your selfishness and immaturity has led you to this point in your life,
But you can still redeem yourself,

Tell the Truth, and the Truth shall set both of you free.

And by the way you don't love your fiance; if you did you won't insult his intelligence, play with his heart and raise his hopes this high on a well calculated venture.

It is people like you that give good girls a bad name.

Family / Re: I Am Confused I Need Urgent Answers! by coldHeat: 11:10am On Dec 06, 2017
First of,

It is not unusual for a generation to be be-riddled with immorality, low self-esteem, lack of self control and greed amongst a few others; this is very normal, as a man who gives into an inordinate desire will find himself engaging in all sorts of vice in a bid to feed his soul with a pleasure that on gratification will leave him empty and desirous of more evil intent.

This doesn't mean it is hard to find love (nothing is entirely hard or impossible of itself [and this is the mindset legends like Bill Gates & Alexander The Great had]; once you set your being and direct your essence to finding true love I can assure you you shall.

After all, the very fabric of eternity is built upon the premise that we attract anything we desire (either consciously, subconsciously or unconsciously), consciously by first mentally picturing it in our mind's eye, then verbally, consistently speaking our desires into manifestation.
I don't know your religious orientation but Yashua The Christ of Yahweh said we shall "have whatsoever we say," whether we speak positively or negatively.

So, first of all have the mindset that you will find true love.

The next thing is to prepare yourself to be the ideal man for your ideal spouse.
Now we don't often stumble into maturity or enlightenment; it is a careful, deliberate process as we improve on our overall self values and make the journey into ourselves; the journey into Truth.

The beautiful thing about maturity and enlightenment is when you've attained it, you will know deep within the intricate framework of your being. It will be a knowing that will come with humility, meekness and a desire to bring out the best in others and yourself. So don't be worried if your task to become a Man takes time, I didn't attain mine until my early 30's.

Once you become the Ideal Man, you'll be able to easily love, support and nurture your wife or girlfriend as the case may be.

But make sure your choice of a spouse is dependent on your ability to love her despite whatever she becomes or does, and your ability to bond with her and understand her deeply, thereby loving her in such a way that she can't but love you in return.

You see women don't find it difficult to love; once they find a man that understands them; in time they'll be ready to do anything for him.

I'm happy that you are deeply passionate about morals, keep up the good work and marry someone that does so too.

In a world that is darkness, many will eventually be attracted to the light that you are. It is only a matter of time, and opportunity.

Finally, yes happy relationships often prelude to happy marriages, but remember that happiness is a choice, the secret to which is acceptance of the things you can't change, the desire to change the things you can and the wisdom to know the difference; this must be well versed in a heart of compassion for others and contentment in the material things of life.

Look within yourself McEphiks and I can assure you you'll find deeper truths about the answers you seek.

After all a man once sang, "if you seek the truth you don't need to look far; it's gonna find you,"

Hopefully I shall keep drawing breath when you post your wedding pictures on nL.

Shalom!

Family / Re: Is It Right For A Married Man To Address A Married Woman As Babes by coldHeat: 12:30am On Jul 22, 2017
The problem with suspicion in marriage is that it can eat you up from the inside, at times when there's nothing to bother about.

To suspect his wife of cheating would be most foolish,

And I would recommend he doesn't go through her phone again to avoid issues of mistrust.

I would also recommend you leave them alone to sort their mess; your advice may do more damage than harm.

But if you must advise him tell him not to suspect his wife until she starts keeping late nights or exhibits otherwise funny behavior.

You could just save some kids the stress of coming from a broken home, destroyed by too much monitoring spirit.
Family / Re: How Can I Stop My Husband's Phone Addiction? by coldHeat: 12:24am On Jul 22, 2017
To be able to render a good advice it is important we understand how we humans are wired.

We are spirit beings, have souls and live in organic constructs which we use to interact with our physical environment.
That said we need to differentiate the different parts of our being and how they are wired.

Our bodies, being organic as they are, depend on life-source which is gotten by feeding on the life-source of other beings dead or alive, thus with the transfer of life, our bodies are kept going;
This means that our bodies do not need pleasure to survive but basically food and rest.

Our spirits, once alive with the Zoe power that is YHVH, can only feed and receive spiritual information, vis-a-viz, dreams, visions, prayers are the activities our spirits can be involved in.

But our souls, that is the tricky one,
Our souls feed on pleasure, and such pleasure is gotten by emotional excitation fed to our souls via synapses to our brain.
This means that we use our bodies to bring pleasure to our souls (by interacting with our physical environment via our 5 senses), feel good and combat the vacuum down in our belly left there by YHVH to draw us closer to Him.

So a lot of the activity (some of which are detrimental to our bodies) we engage in is for the sole purpose of pleasing ourselves (souls).

So our soul feeds on pleasure, which can be gotten via activity, and how does this happen?

We feel pleased when we are acknowledged, when we are recognized and when we are rewarded.

Companies have used this theory to make millions via our own desire for vanity via social media, instant messaging and games in that order.

And we patronizers of their systems and apps find ourselves in this visious cycle of wanting to be heard and recognized to get high on our own self-made system of emotional gratification.

Many people are addicted to the Internet today for these reasons; they want to be seen (and rate people's acceptance of them on social media by likes and posts), they want to be entertained (via visually appealing images and videos), and they want to be rewarded (by playing games [created with a kind-of-forever and never ending reward scheme]).

Have you ever tried to stay away from your phone for some hours and notice that you start having symptoms of someone having a withdrawal syndrome?

If you have then you must know that that feeling is your soul trying to tell you that it wants to feed on something!

Now many of us are addicted to this cycle of wanting to be seen of men and trying hard to be,
And I want to believe your husband is addicted as well.

Now here's the thing;
Your husband is feeding his soul rampantly with excitation of his emotions, and the continuous double-back to his phone tells it is either a chat with someone or a game he's playing or he's checking for likes to feel good about a post.

It is not that he doesn't acknowledge you; but that he's trapped in a cycle that can only be broken deliberately.

So, you need to get to him!

How?

Since talking and complaining won't work,

Here is what I recommend,

Examine his day to day activities and find one thing about his day that he doesn't play with,

For example his food,

Then begin to lag in your commitment, either don't prepare the food on time or prepare it funny,
And make sure to make it consistent,

Eventually he will begin to complain, and apologize every time but continue to hit the rock with your hammer,

Eventually out of frustration he will erupt, and afterwards, do calmly apologize (don't argue) and continue your campaign.

The time will come when he will humbly sit you down and ask what he can do to make you focus more,

Then you would have gotten to him and two of you can now talk.

This method may sound harsh (and I'd recommend another if you feel it is too provocative), but at times to get someone to come to their senses you may have to do something instead of just talk.

If he's extrovertish this technique won't take so long to pull out; the attention of sanguines are most easy to have.

One more thing; as much as possible NEVER take yourself to that bridge of suspicion of infidelity except if you have concrete reasons to do so.
The emotional travail will weaken your pleasure-starved soul and cause you to age badly.

If my advise doesn't satisfy you can pm me so we can talk more elaborately.

cheers!

In Summary:
According to your write-up
Righteousness is a gift from God
Holiness is striving to be sinless.

Yes bro,

Although the Apostles Paul and John taught righteousness differently,

John described righteousness as an act,
1 John 3:7
King James Version
"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous."

While Paul described righteousness as an abstract state
2 Corinthians 5:21
New American Standard Bible
"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

Just let the Ghost of Holies guide you into all Truth, so you can deeply understand the Love of God, and consequently, be filled with all the Fullness of God.

Religion / Re: Sex Scandal: Apostle Johnson Suleman Is INNOCENT Based On Evidence In This Repot by coldHeat: 10:32pm On Mar 07, 2017
LIVEWireReport:
(I am completely an independent analyst concerned about truth)

1. Sahara Reporters: Let's start off with where this news seemed to have originated from. Do we really trust this source? I for one have never done that since they surfaced, publishing certain stories in livid anonymity and getting away with it. Plus I know they're out to make money. That's all I have to say for them.

2. Festus Kenyamo, Reputable Doesn't Mean "Truthful": Since I was a kid, I've always heard about him. He's famous, he's notorious but does his fame mean he's a "truthful" guy in this case?

3. Man in Photo Evidence, Not Suleiman: The man in the picture shots I saw sincerely compared with Apostle Suleiman in other pictures of him, doesn't look like Suleiman. I have on many occasions seen close resemblance between people as many have notified me of resembling someone else in their lives. This man is a lookalike, not Apostle Suleiman.
The photo in question looks doctored and manipulated. Look at it closely, especially the cheek and bald head areas - that's not Suleiman.
Besides, this was a chat call and a video recording was possible to be made. If Stephanie really is out for vengeance, why didn't she record a video of the chat which would have been possible with just one button pushed, instead of pictures? Very interesting.

4. El-Rufai is Dead: Months earlier, when Apostle Suleiman took a hot swipe at El-Rufai with the "You're dead" statement, I told myself that the Apostle had swung too far. Is it possible to assume this is the genesis of this scandal - which will conclude that this is a conspiracy?

5. Stephanie - Her Motive, Hypnotized?.. Timaya Mentioned: Watching Stephanie speak, she seemed to me as someone hypnotized into believing a story that did not happen. The way she keeps opening her mouth agape after pertinent points and the sly movement of her eyes will tell a decent body language expert that she believes the story, and not that it actually happened to her.
Let's look at her state of mind: is she hurt that he didn't marry her anymore? Or is she upset and vengeful that makes her eager to bring down the Apostle in the media? Why go to the media instead of the church? Besides she looks smart - would she honestly expect that the Apostle would leave his POWERFUL wife perfect in every way to marry herself Stephanie? Doesn't add up.
Plus she mentioned she was supposed to shoot a video with Timaya recently. Why hasn't Timaya said anything yet about that claim? Is the claim true? Or was Timaya paid up to act as her alibi? I'm sure his PR team would have notified him by now.

6. Stephanie, Kimora Doesn't Care About Music: I "dug" in to discover more about this Kimora musician, Stephanie that is. Here's something interesting; I discovered that the only song she's ever done, both audio and video is titled, "His Girlfriend". For someone serious about "blowing", she has never put that song anywhere else except YouTube. Look at this next.
One "Olosho Mozarti" account uploaded the video of the song on September 26, 2016. By this time, Stephanie had not even opened a YouTube account herself. Instead she opened it the next day, Sept 27, 2016. Funny.
Now again watch this: Stephanie went on to upload this same video to YouTube not immediately after opening the account on Sept 27 but uploaded the music video to her account on DECEMBER 26 2016. How does it make sense? She doesn't care about music.

7. LIVEWire's CONCLUSION: This looks like a beautiful tactic that was planned way ahead of time by the people the Apostle has hurt. And it seems religiously motivated. It was a planned story meant to carry the theme of "you never know someone fully well", but the logical evidence in this report has put me in the COMPLETE CONFIDENCE that APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEIMAN the man of God is very innocent of these accusations.

P.S: Don't look for what to believe. Ask WHY.

You joined Nairaland today,
With one post and one topic to your claim,
Seriously,
You joined Nairaland just to post this?

It would appear you came here for the sole purpose of defending the Apostle,

And if that be ur motive (of if you were sent here to do so) pls don't bother,

If the Apostle is innocent,
the Lord will vindicate Him,
If He isn't,
then we might as well just prepare for the scandal that will follow,

Besides, those photos aren't looking photoshopped bro,
And the lady's body language appears really convincing,

If he truly is innocent, in time the Lord will show that he is,

Either way he hasn't denied meeting her or speaking with her.

Isn't it funny that Pastors Kumuyi, Adeboye or Oyedeopo have never been caught with these kind of scandals?

With all this hullabaloo there is an iota of truth, and the base of that truth is that Apostle and Stephanie know each other,

Let us pray this issue is resolved soon so that further shame will not come to the church.

Righteousness is a State brought about by what Jesus did for you;
Holiness is an Act, brought about by what you do for yourself;

When you are born of the water and of the Spirit, you now have Eternal Life in You,
Becoming a Son of God, you now have full access into the Father's Presence; a feat desired by all Angels and Spirit Beings (who can only enter the Father's presence when they are summoned),

Hence when you are righteous, you can approach God and commune with Him,

Holiness on the other hand, is when you consecrate yourself to the Lord, by starving your soul of inordinate desires until you begin to hate sinful practices altogether,

Hence, holiness comes by a continuous lifestyle of feeding your spirit with the words of eternal life and starving your soul of sinful pleasures and purposeless desires, until, having being starved of purposeless desires for so long, you can now easily resist temptations and wordly lusts.

Hence, first righteousness is a state by which we are now one with God,
And holiness is when we live in such a way that we are now like God, full of Light, Love and eternal Life.

I hope this helps.

Its amazing how a year ago IPOB youths were threating fire and brimstone if Kanu wasn't released before January this year,
now it has become a "to your tents o Israel" issue;

sad thing is many died over this, and now, those who led others to their deaths have chickened out under the pressure of earthly desires.

Youths and teenagers many of whom their brains are still developing, cannot process more than one thought or decision at a time, and with a lack of listening to elders (many of who saw the civil war) went out to promote a cause they knew they'd never win without following due process.

I mourn with the bereaved;

But I am more amazed at the lack of fire to champion a cause that was ready to plunge us in to civil war and unrest barely 12 months ago...

Let us let the law and government handle this, and if they don't do so to our tastes, well there's 2019....

And just 4 years ago nairalanders were arguing on this same forum that android will never be able to outdo blackberry due to its cheap data rates, popularity and ease of use (not mentioning its lack of space, hang-ability, over heating battery and lack of customizable features not supported by its OS)

I watched the arguments and insults from a corner,

Now times have changed, and are still changing,

It is sad, but business empires must come and go,

Such is the way of life.

In another 3 years BBM will be no more; you don't need a prophet to tell you that; its only a matter of time, I guess their biggest mistake ever was in bringing out their selling point (the BBM itself) as an app.

But then again when you are desperate and refuse to adapt the times on time, you tend to make monumentally foolish decisions.

Sorry my analysis is long, and it may not be that well structured, but if you can learn one or two things then I'll know it wasn't in vain.

Dude you had a great idea in your head, but you were 3 or 4 thoughts away from making it a hit song.

Every song is like an idea you pitch to a group of people; packaging and presentation is key! I have heard of songs without instrumentation becoming hits and instrumentation without lyrics getting heavily popular as well, so therefore, Tobe know thyself, and know thy own method of winning the crowd.

A song shouldn't just be all beats and lyrics right into your face, it should be something you create to seduce or entice your audience to want to listen to you and what you have to say.

why don't you flirt with the mind and emotions of your listeners, you don't seem to be doing that.

Overall the beat is average, your producer is still not merging with you (like ID cabassa did with 9ce in "gongo aso" ), I suggest you change him or have him understand you and relate with you better.

INTRO
Let me advice you on how to do an intro to your song, next time,
1. add some overall reverb to your song, something mild, not to much to give the impression that you recorded the song in a large hall, but enough to add some "atmosphere" to your song (reference "Ego" by Djinee), also have your producer add some reverb effect to your voice as well (together with some mild "chorus" effect to your voice [you don't have a great voice for singing, so like T.Pain you'll have to complement your voice a little], even better have your producer take two takes of your intro / chorus, have one dry (no effects attached to it) then add "chorus" effect to your voice then place them aside each other.

2. After the first 8 bars for the intro, you should have frozen most of the instruments while you began singing, now imagine your voice rich with a chorus effect and a background reverb covering the whole song, with your "carry last" echoing "carry last" each time you sang it, like akon used to do to his lyrics back in the day (this would have had the same effect as tickling someone; they'd want to listen more to the song), Reference the intro of "Holla at your boi" by whizkid to understand what I'm talking about.

Now as you were singing, with the reverb just add a simple instrument that was previously alien to the song but will now be introduced (this instrument must disappear or be swallowed by the other instruments as rudely as it was introduced, leaving the audience thinking (where did that thing go?) and while they are distracted by it (distractions and attractions are what makes a song a hit {if you think "Dorobucci" was all about lyrics think again}), alongside a chord instrument like a jazz organ playing a chord in the background, the removal of the kick, hook (which sounds too harsh for the song to me) and by all means the percussion would have made a listener focus more on your voice, your lyrics and the chorus which you have chosen to start with.

3. After the first 4 beats (remember 8 beats make a bar), you introduce another instrument (panned to one side of the ear/head) and one of the percussions (not all); this would have meant more food being served to the listener's expectations (reference the intro of "Orente" by Adekunle Gold), then at the climax of the 8 beats...

4. You add a bassline (which to me is missing in the entire song), I would have advised you make it an epileptic one like the kind don jazzy used in "Dorobucci", a baseline that changes but still maintains its overall foundation of key notes (rememeber in "Dorobucci" the bassline only becomes prominent after exactly 1 minute, then it stops and starts playing almost a different style each time (it married the kick and percussions so well, small wonder we all listened to it to death back then...), that would play for another 8 beats, then you bring in the drums.

By this time, you have gradually ushered your instruments and appealed to the souls of people, opening the door for them into your song...

CHORUS:

The chorus has a good message, albeit a mediocre one to me (self-opinion), and the way you sang it didn't appeal to me. There is no passion in your voice, no attitude (how many takes did you take on the chorus before your producer decided to work with this? He should have you take that chorus at least 20 times then listen to all of them and then use the one that best projects your feelings). Perhaps it is your voice or the instrumentation but after a while the chorus becomes a drag and begins to bore me.

Also your voice may need to be adjusted on a parametric equalizer very well, it is not sounding alive in the song at all.
Also add more emphasis and project while making your takes, I am not feeling any attitude in your lyrics.

A chorus should be rich, catchy and should be brief such that when you get to the verse or the bridge, people would want to skip through them just to hear the chorus again.

For the chorus as well:
1. someone else should have sung it, perhaps a lady with a contra-alto or tenor kind of voice. singing your own chorus and the verses may not cut it out for you (especially with the kinda producer you are using that projects no "soul" or "atmosphere" in his instrumentation.
2. have someone else adlib for you in future, let your voice be too pure to be heard doing everything at the same time.
3. The lady you featured (damilola) was perhaps the only thing beautiful about the song, get your producer or someone else to find a way to make your voice more pleasant to listeners since you don't have a good voice (you sound more like an entertainer like dbanj and not a singer or musician), but this shouldn't stop you from trying to get God to pick your call by singing.

Also change your producer (if you can), he's doing a poor job mastering your song, I played you song against most of the songs on my system and the difference is clear (Playing your song then "Woju" made it very obvious your producer may just be the one killing you for now).

I must commend you for keeping the song under 4 minutes this time, very powerful hit songs are usually under 4 minutes (it isn't what you say that makes a hit song, it is the synergy of your ideas, the instrumentation and your voice in perfect harmony that makes a hit).

In all the song is on average, the fact that it is trending on twitter means you are getting there...

Goodluck...and may Truth find you as you earnestly search for purpose.

Romance / Re: What Do You Consider As Your Most Valuable Asset?? by coldHeat: 9:21am On May 25, 2016
My spiritual (supernatural) gifts & talents;

unlike my brain, my mind, my conscience, my memories, my lust for enlightenment (all of which I consider immensely valuable to myself {and somewhat consequently, to others as well}), my gifts cannot be lost, corrupted or taken away from me by loss of memory or corruption of body, mind and spirit.

So I consecrate myself to the will of Divinity so as to make what can never be taken away from me my most power resource to change the world and make it a better place.

And does it make me valuable, attractive and sought out by others?

A well polished product gift (talent), needs no hard sell...

Too much autotuning.. .do something more natural
Put more depth and meaning into ur song.

More grease to your elbow

I must commend your efforts, but...

...the song sounds like it hasn't been mastered yet (I'm hearing a lot of mud (usually between 400 to 600Hz) in the song).

Also I can't seem to get or easily identify the chorus of the song, and that is very unlike what people will get acquainted to easily. Ur supposed "girl tonight" chorus happens only twice (32 beats [in a bar]) in the entire 4 minutes 7 seconds song, that may be too short and inadequate for people to find the song any entertaining or uplifting.

Your arrangement of verse + one or two bridges before the chorus isn't really the best, a chorus which is the punchline of the song should be easily accessible and catchy.

The first 15 seconds of the instrumental was ok, but beyond that, I lost any interest in the rest of it; the beat is not outstanding, catchy or unique, same thing goes for your lyrics, it is somewhat appalling and I also agree with piagetskinner that the song won't last beyond this quarter even if it makes any impact (not with the likes of other competitors for the ears of nigerians all over the place)

Sing songs that will make people feel better about themselves by helping them find happiness, inner peace and fulfillment. A song about partying and sex won't make u stand out amongst the local variety of mediocre singers we have today.

And what kind of producer doesn't pan adlibs and the hook of the beat in a song but puts it in the middle of the song to compete with the lead-vocal, kick, snare and the percussions (even the percussions should have been panned {only the lead, bass guitar and kick should be in the "center" of the song)...

In summary, try re-branding your style of music, find a better producer, have other people asides yourself adlib (it adds more beauty to the song), and adopt a simple song plan and have the chorus appear in more places.

I commend you of using a noticeable hook in the beat, and keeping the song just over 4 minutes (that was nice).

If this is the path you have chosen, work more on yourself and don't give up.

I just wish people will write better songs than all junk we are being forced to hear nowadays, but then again, it seems that is all this indomie generation has to offer in terms of musical creativity.
