Complete it: "But even if God does not save us, We will not bow down TO WORSHIP THIS GOLDEN IMAGE THAT YOU HAVE MADE." You can go to your Ooni's palace and bow down like this Boxer has done, and God won't even bat an eyelid because you aren't worshipping the Ooni. You are merely respecting him, which is a different case entirely from Nebuchadnezzer asking the boys to worship the image he made. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Daddy Freeze On Pastor Adeboye's Necklace: "This Is Pressing Of Virgin Breast" by Collins10(m): 10:06am On Sep 04, 2018 |
Olifiz: That’s idolatry at its peak. Have u guys seen this at all Deuteronomy 5:8-10. You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth. 9 You must not bow down to them nor be led to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing loyal love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.
So why should one have pics or structures of their pastors or even Christ himself hunged around ur neck or in places of worship to be looked at or prayed. Look at this example below, wen the Israelites used a golden calf image to worship they didn’t give the image another name but used it to worship God but God was angry with them n purnished those in the act. Read below
After liberating the Israelites from Egypt, Jehovah God gave them clear direction regarding how he wanted to be worshipped. The second of the so-called Ten Commandments says: “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion.” —Exodus 20:4, 5.
At the very time that God was giving these commandments to Moses, the Israelites were making a golden calf, likely in imitation of Egyptian animal worship. They did not call the image by the name of an Egyptian god. Instead, they associated it with the worship of Jehovah. (Exodus 32:5, 6) How did God react? His anger blazed against those who venerated the idol, and Moses destroyed it. —Exodus 32:9, 10, 19, 20.
So pls let us desist from such act and refute using images of anyone or anything in any way while serving our God. Using pics of our pastors or rosary is idolatory, we are to worship God in spirit and in truth once u believe n have faith which that is wat is required of us we don’t need images or statues etc to worship or reverence God. Let’s not be deceived the devil is strong n roaring like an angry lion seeking to devour someone, he sometimes disguised like an angel of light so as to mislead many into believing they are doing the right thing by adulterating true worship. If u practice these things pls desist because it’s idolatry n ur worship cannot be accepted by God. Do not be deceived even Jesus disciples didn’t use Jesus image to preach n pray they even warned Christians against using images to worship in any form
Read Acts 19: 25,26 Acts 17: 29-30 1Thesalonians 1:9 Isaiah 42:8
Cc www.jw.org I find it very funny and quite ridiculous that you picked only the versions of the bible that suit your point, and ignore those that contradict you. Did you forget where the Israelites were bitten by poisnous snakes and Moses made a copper image of a snake? Anyone who was bitten by the poisnous snakes looked up at the corper snake that Moses moulded and was instantly healed. Is snake not among those things we aren't supposed to make images of? So why did the Israelites have to look up at a moulded snake to be saved? Why didn't God just go ahead and save them without the idol snake? Keep cherrypicking and selecting only the parts of the bible that back your claims, you hear? Don't go and read ALL PARTS of your bible very well! Sickening! |

Around December/early January, De Bruyne was the hot favourite to win that award. There was almost no competitor! What happened to him? How come people suddenly remembered Salah from January? The answer is very simple.: From January till now, De Bruyne has flopped terribly. De Bruyne is generally known for assists, but Salah has even had more assists than him between January and May (talk more of goals). And you sit here and convincingly tell yourself that De Bruyne was more consistent throughout the season! . PLEASE GRAB A CHAIR! |

City is very good no doubt but they have been lucky in a number of games and I saw this coming and they will lose more. Uncle, stop lying! Just stop lying and keep quiet already if you don't know what you are saying. The Penalty against Crystal Palace was not the last kick of the game. Infact it was around 90+1 sef. Poems For Review › "The Mad Man And The Seven Demons" by Collins10(op): 10:37am On Jan 09, 2018 |
The mad man told me he has seven demons in him. He had a stunningly wonderful diction.
I stared at him.
He sat on the bench and put his arms around me. I froze. He was bare, with just a tattered pair of trousers on. He was smelling horribly. I wanted to leave my seat and my unfinished bottle of coke, but my butt was seemingly glued to the seat.
The mad man grabbed my bottle of coke and finished it in a gulp. Then he took the meat- pie from my right hand and pushed it into his mouth. Then he continued: "These seven demons need to be fed by two means. Either by food, or by anger. When I don't get enough food to satisfy them, they push me into anger. I do lots of terrible things and I can't stop until they are satisfied." He laughed hysterically.
I looked at his face. His eyes had bags under them. His thick bushy beards tangled with dirt. I looked away from his face. The woman who tended the kiosk made an attempt to ask him to leave, but a long dirty glare at her made her retreat.
Mad man turned to me: "Why aren't you saying anything to me,my friend? Why don't you want to talk to me? You think I am not worth your time? You think I am mad? You choke yourself with this thing you call tie every morning, even against your own wish, and you think I am mad?"
I glanced at my wristwatch in desperation. I didn't want to believe his demonic tales. He is a mad man afterall. That is how they behave. Time was going.
He continued: "Don't be in a hurry, my friend. I need more food. The last demon in me is the fiercest and it needs to be satisfied. If it doesn't, a lot of things go wrong. I attack people. I harm myself until the demons are all satisfied."
Just then, my Boss' call entered. I wrenched the mad man's hand off my shoulders, threw the money for the drink at the kiosk owner and hurried away without waiting for the change. My shirt was already in a mess. A week later, I saw his corpse lying on one side of the road.
The story was that he ran into the front of an oncoming vehicle and was crushed.
I took one long look at him and wondered if his story about demons and anger was true. |
