alignacademy: Assuming these are for graduates, is there any problem with that?
Isn't honest labour better than sitting at home posting all day on Twitter and Nairaland?
Being a graduate doesn't immune one from working for a living, as long as its honest work.
It's a problem when graduates somehow feel ENTITLED to cosy office jobs even when such jobs are in limited supply.
Cheers Really? So graduates should them push wheelbarrows? You mean you really see nothing wrong with this epic show of shamelessness? Even if you want to empower them so that they wont be wasting time on facebook and twitter according to you, cant they be empowered to learn skills or create a few more employments? Wheelbarrow kor! Is it wheelbarrow that you push for a living |
Celebrities › Re: 9ice: "My Woman Has To Kneel Down To Serve Me Food" by Collins10(m): 7:31am On May 18, 2017 |
datola: So it is slavery if the wife submits to the husband in whatever acceptable forms. And the husband is ready to lay down his life for his wife?
The other day Nigeria's richest woman, Mrs Alakija said she's washing her husband clothes. She is a slave too right?
We just copy oyinbo blindly and relegate our own culture and biblical injunctions.
One of the major challenges of Africans is that we do not have a voice of our own. The whites ( we are also becoming whites by the day by the use of chemical creams in order to appear attractive and intelligent) dictate everything bad to us including same sex marriage and we accept them in order to appear 'civilized'
Chinese, Japanese, Indians have their own distinct cultures and values which they are proud of and these have helped them in no way to develop their home grown technologies that have become the wonders of the new world order.
Marriages don't last in western world. They must not last here too now because we don't want to be slaves to our husbands or protective of our wives.
It is only we, especially Nigerians that will squeeze their noses to sound like the British or the Americans whereas these people still value some of these things that we think are no longer fashionable. See,some of these things are vert clear but we dont want to accept it. Washing your husband's clothes is not slavery at all. But kneeling down to serve your husband's meals? Who does that? Not bowing ooo. Kneeling! Even housemaids dont do that these days. It may have been prevalent in those days but it wasnt even neccessary. It does not improve the taste of the food. |

see useles lie why did the shopkeeper refuse did she tell him that she was going to use it to kill herself ni? Calm down. You didnt get what the person meant. The lady who committed suicide asked for nylon after buying it,but the seller declined (probably because the sniper was not big enough to warrant a nylon, or she had no nylon again or she was managing the one she had.). The seller probably said she should return it if she is not buying it without the nylon. If you read further, you will see that the buyer eventually put the sniper under her clothes and left. Its a common event among sellers and buyers in this country na. |

Add that to the fact that he is very handsome, and you will see that Moses dont stand a chance. Lol. |

The guy has shown you EPL team of the year na. If he didnt show you now, you would have told us that Moses won it. What kind of comparism is that Walker that has been playing fullback all his life, compared to Moses that was only just converted to a wingback? Have you seen Walker when he is speeding? Rose, God knows were he his and Walker in recent games has been benched for Kevin Trippier. Moses better than Walker? Are you kidding me? Oh Laawwwd of mercy! Walker has been injured for a while. safarigirl: you are just like the average Nigerian.
You will reject your own no matter what. This is the same trash your ilk spewed in 2013 and more, so we know you people very well.
Victor Moses was every bit as instrumental as anyone else, just because he wasn't injured half the season and away on AFCOM does not reduce his input. Dortmund dis not win Bundesliga upon all the Auba's goals, so? And I did not see Auba's awesomeness at the AFCON, Mane was MIA against SA as well.
All three were influential, the difference is, ONE won a trophy and did it playing an unnatural position at that. Yet, you want to sing Mane's praises, someone you would trash if he were Nigerian.
Let Nigeria qualify for World Cup first, then we'll see the Mane you are going on about. That will be the ultimate.
I'd yoi want to talk of contender, bring up Salah's name and I will take you seriously, the rest just makes you look like the anti-naija robots Lol. Sister, there is no need for insults about spewing trash. We are all entitled to our opinions. Shebi they will give the awards next year? I will note your username and I will remind you of the 'trash I spewed last year'... Peace... |

safarigirl: if you want to talk of bias, then you can mention Yaya Toure winning that award in 2013 as biased.
You Nigerians just hate yourselves so much that you cannot stand the thought of one of your own actually winning something he merited. Even with Moses' stellar performance this season, conquering a role he was largely unfamiliar with, you still say his individual performance was below par? Because he didn't score 20 goals and above? Did we not watch Chelsea crumble in his absence? Was he not vital to their EPL win?
Thank God that corrupt rat, Hayatou is out, his work was to give CAF APOTY to Francophone players every year. He just brainwashed some of you into thinking anything was fair.
The way you people always bring down your players even when they deserve accolades is pathetic. Moses that scored a brave against Algeria and was a total beast for you and you belittle his achievement, for what? Lol. Oh please, when did Liverpool's title challenge crumble? Was it not when Mane went fot nations cup? He returned and Liverpool were on course to easily secure a champions league place. He got injured again and they are now struggling to achieve that. As we talk now, Auba has scored a goal. Chelsea collapsing because Moses was not there is not special. The simple reason why Liverpool could not fight Chelsea for the PL is Mane! Imagine Dortmund without Auba's goals. And you say I dont like my fellow Nigerians? Simply because I dont buy into your ridiculous philosophy? As if Mane paid me to campaign for him! Lol. |

Now what did sadio and aubameyang achieve? Lol. Has Omeruo not won the league with Chelsea once? Why was he not given the award when Yaya won it? Omeruo too small sef. Why was Mikel not given the award when Yaya won it, despite Mikel winning a double and Yaya winning nothing? Una never see anything. You will see Mane and Aubameyang and still pick Moses When they had better seasons than Moses individually? Una biased nature shaa. |

eyinjuege: She has obviously denied him... They're not the first family to be seperated , and some even have more bitter separations. However, the children still love and acknowledge their father.
Even though she's young, she's old enough to sieve and process what's going on around her. Only God knows how many birthdays she waited as a child to receive a call from her father wishing her a happy birthday, but non ever came. How many times she was sent out of school or called out in front of the assembly because of unpaid or partially paid school fees, till her mother was finally able to raise the money, Children notice all these things. She obviously has zero respect for him as a father. Why not call her and pray for her on her birthday? He probably doesnt even have her phone no, and he's forming to the world as a caring father. Its the hypocrisy that made her rant. School fees no suppose too hard Anne to pay na. She is even more of a celebrity these days than Shegs.... At least she is on Tinsels and Hotel Majestic.
