The circumstances that threw GEJ up raised expectations to a level that we be difficult to achieve even in the best of circumstances and the circumstances have not been the best. My prolem with him is that he has deepened the problem than he met it. To me those PVC yet to be claimed are for people whose expectations were dashed by GEJ. GEJ was suppose to be responsible to the ordinary Nigerians only because he came to power without a clear cut fatherism backing him. But due to selfishness he played into the hands of hawks and they rubbished him. The next time I will cast a vote on national matter, it must be on a referendum on whether or not we should practice true federalism. |
They said the same about Putin, Gaddafi and Saddam. No big deal, I don't care what the west says they only have their own interest in mind. Please show me one voter in the US or UK who decided to vote for a candidate based on the views of the Nigerian Vanguard or Punch or Thisday. Why do we always raise these people to some god like level, where their word is law and we must obey. We are beginning to respond to issues as our politicians do. Does it matter where the truth comes? What matters is the fact that it is the truth. Soludo wrote and people began to look at his political antecedent. It only a person that had gained prominence can speak and the world hears. Those of us at the background may not be heard when we speak. Let us not be comfortable with the state of this nation. We can do better. |
OMAR thanks for your concern. You reminded me of my late father who use to advise we the young ones in my area never to pray for war in Nigeria or any other country because war does not favour anybody in all it's ramifications. My Dad witnessed and fought Nigeria civil war. Having said that, our country needs revolution to chase out all that are in one time or another occupied political position in this country. They are set of callous people. They go to other countries for leisure as if the development there happened by default. |
macklef:Thanks dear. That tells you my state of mind. |
Am just dumpfunded |
May God save us from those bent on perpetuating dark age in Nigeria. I weep for a country where mediocrity is preferred to meritocracy. |
My pain is that they never realized they were been deceived with whatever they were promised that awaits them at the other end. Wish they could reach their living members and inform them how huge the lies were to save their lives. |
Op you must be deceitful . How come all the tweets wording is same as contained in prof Chukwuma Soludo's article? |
God forbids that statement. God will never ordain killing of his people. Guilt filled condolence. |
Luchitec:Do not comment when you do not fully understand. Foreign reserve is mostly from excess crude account e.g in june2014, crude oil price was $110 while our budget was on the bench mark of $76. The difference is saved for the rainy the like now and the reserve is no where to be found. The issue in Anambra state is quite different cause the state gains nothing from keeping idle cash which earns little or no interest while there are works to do. And I believe the savings are not in hard currency, so it value falls. |
May your pure soul rest in the bosom of the lord amen |
0rex:It is incumbent on the executive to ensure that court orders and pronouncements are obeyed. So their Job ends were another begins. That is the constitutional provision. |
When an economy of any country is growing amidst poverty, it points to only one thing- CORRUPTION. It means our wealth is in the hands of a few. |
Hmmm our main political gladiators are giving us better reasons to sit back home come 14 february 2015. Am fade up with GEJ because of corruption that thrive under his watch, and now my only hope(GMB) has taken to forgery and deception. This country is becoming more frightening every day and is high time I began to walk away to God knows where. |
This is what we call party manifesto in action because it tell us "HOW". Once it was sincerely drafted, it is okay by me and/or us. |
It still a puzzle to me that someone we read a glaring facts like this and first of all verify the tribe, religion, party, sex, complexion, social/political affiliation of the writer before accepting or rejecting the obvious. You can not cover the moon with you palms. You cannot cover protruded pregnancy. Know your right and exercise it. Is high time we stopped these callous men from playing on our intelligence. Then all these cheap propaganda will disappear. |
People can not cease making caricature of themselves in public by this kind of allegation. First, Rev father Ejike Mbaka's ministry is called Adoration ministry Enugu nigeria(AMEN) located in Emene- Enugu state. There is another ministry called Adoration ministry in Anambra state by a priest nicknamed "Ebube MMO NSO". It was in the later's ministry that 28 people died in, in 2013. To address the issue of 850million inducement, may be it was given to the one in Anambra otherwise no such thing happened at least not Mbaka I know of. |
This human inhumanity to man in the north east of Nigeria is unbearable. I must say this- Nigeria government is yet to put up a convincing fight against Boko Haram. Each time you hear BH over ran Nigeria military bla bla bla. The next, they politic with it. Dish out lies and path themselves at the back for doing nothing. The situation on ground is such that does not call for politicking at all. GEJ should do this country a fovour and throw in the towel and let another come and context against GMB. Who knows; the person might be a better altanative to GMB. Otherwise GMB should come and try and let's see how much he can destroy us. We are no longer scared of death as much as we will not allow the status quo to remain. Hopefully one day we shall get it right. |
Hmm was your husband equally a virgin? If yes, it means he is over excited even at mere sight of your nudity. That aside, he should engage himself in regular exercise and avoid pre-intimacy at all and ask him to relax his mind as if sex is nothing. Meeting an expert is a good option as suggested above. Wish u well. |
Most of us also lack the knowledge of some verbs that are regular in form: E.g (1) CASTED- this word is regular no matter the time of usage ie whether Present or past tense. So the correct use is CAST CAST CAST and not CASTED. Others are BURST not BURSTED, PUT not PUTED etc. OP u r gud but no be our fault o cause a British cannot speak my mother tongue. Lol |
ebuetor:Pls am curios especially the part that has to do with the fate of our country. Thanks in anticipation. |
[quote author=JoeCutie post=29533413]The title of this thread reads, "Catholic Church disagrees with Father Mbaka". I patiently read through the lines of this post & I began to wonder; Who is/are the Catholic Church? A mere "Mr. Ebue" & "Two knights"? ![]() • I was hoping to see where the Holy Father, the Pope, spoke from Rome to condemn Fr. Mbaka • Or where our own Francis Cardinal Arinze spoke on behalf of the church • Or where the Apostolic Nuncio to Nigeria, Rt. Rev. Dr. Augustine Kasujja spoke, representing the church • Or where the President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference condemned the cleric • Or where any of the Nigerian (Arch)Bishops did the disagreeing • Or where even any Monsignor or a fellow Catholic Priest condemned Fr. Mbaka's declarations. But what did I see? Mr. Ebue & two Knights. ![]() Who are they and what do they know about the Church & her doctrines? They should be talking to the press concerning their various works, families & general dealings with the society. ![]() Op, be careful! ![]() The title should better read, "Two Catholic Knights & a certain jobless Mr. Ebue disagree with Fr. Mbaka", and NOT "The Catholic Church disagrees.....". The Catholic Church has nothing to do with what those men said. They were speaking for themselves, and not for the church. Nobody delegated them to speak on behalf of the church. ![]() Get your points straight!
The OP wasn't wrong in the title because besides the two men mentioned, is th conference of catholic Bishops of Nigeria (CCBN). Where the the Bishop of Abuja criticized Mbaka. Btw am a catholic and fully in support of Mbaka. |
ritux:My people perish for lack of knowledge; thus says the lord. Let me enlighten you- senator Ekweremmadu came for prayer on an Adoration day and was given invitation card for the ministry's annual thanks given and he demanded to be given more card as he promised to bring either the president or his wife. That's how she came. Research for the rest of what transpired there. So stop saying he tried to reach the first lady. And note Mbaka and the spirit of god do not agree on most issues but the spirit must supersede. Do not dable into spiritual matters. |
This is not a time to sit on the fence. Our clergy men should cease to make statements that are politically correct and at the same time fail to address the issue raised. Hadn't people died enough that GEJ should let Nigeria be? Apart from insecurity, In his quest to give people joba, a lot of people lost their lives at various states in this country. The refineries on the basis of which subsidy was removed is a mirage. Corruption no go area etc. And Mbaka sees more blood if GEJ returns to power and you want him to make a political statement that people should vote according to their conscience were they confuse the innocent electorates with cheap propaganda after which they will be at the receiving end. Fr the lord will protect you and fight your battles in Jesus name amen . |
The prophecy that should be upper most in our mind and get us worried is that of too much blood shed that will follow 2015 election. This same blood shed was what Rev EJike Mbaka saw that made him ask us to vote out GEJ. Because it is the only way to avert it. U could hear him ask- do you have to wait until your own blood is shared? Pls less do the needful. Don't get it twisted am igbo man and a christian but have out grown parochial sentiment. |
I collinsVp humbly tender my sincere gratitude to the OP for coming up with this life transforming thread. Something tells me you never knew is going to be this massive. It is the lords doing and is marvelous in our eyes. It took me approximately 2days to go through this thread and I experience goose pimple arousing revelation which in no small measure has helped consolidate my faith. I equally appreciate all those who took time to share their experiences. You may not know how much lives you have touched and souls won back to God. My prayer is for all to get to a spiritual state where we will delight in pleasing God. At that state we shall have been dead to sin. @OP am looking forward to seeing the interpretation of you NEW REVELATION. GOD BLESS US ALL |
Have you ever done or said anything aginst your own will? Mbaka just did. I not only go to Adoration weekly prayer but also his sunday services. The spirit in him had a different stance from himself(Mbaka) as to jonathan's fate. Remember PEJ visited last november. The message was like a burning scroll on his tongue. The day PEJ came he released three doves to fight for GEJ and One refused to fly. My people do not attack this message because even the speaker is not happy he did. Just like Jonah was not happy when God sent him to Niniveh. |
WHY REV EJIKE MBAKA TITLED NEW YEAR CROSS OVER MESSAGE " Good luck to Bad luck" 1. As a former deputy governor, his boss Alemesygha in bayelsa state had a problem and he became the governor. 2. As a former vice president to late Umuru musa Y'dua, Umuru took ill and died in office. 3. Security: having attained the highest office, the country has become a slaughter house. B. Haram raving mayhem on all of us. 4. In his quest to give employment, scores of graduates were stamped to death. 5. Our naira value has been plummeting. 6. Oil price has falling and we even offer China discount to buy our oil. 7. Palestine needed our vote to gain statehood and Nigeria refrained. 8. PDP is almost being thrown off balance by Apc under GEJ. 9. The office of the president has lost it fear factor under GEJ. 10. Corruption is on the increase which had led to the renaissance of the word IMPUNITY in all political discuss. 11. Our house of assembly has been ridiculed under GEJ. 12. Man! There is hunger in the land. Unemployment is alarming. 13. He removed oil subsidy to build refinery and create jobs and your guess is as good as mine. Hence he said his administration is bad luck to Nigeria and we need change to avert further danger GEJ's administration portend for nigeria. |
luvinhubby:My dear go and asks questions. Chimaroke didn't win 2003 Enugu state gubernatorial election. It was pure manipulation. Look Rev father Ejike Mbaka has no personal interest for what he said. I was there. The basis of all he said was that GEJ portend danger to everything he associates himself with. He may not be a bad person of which Mbaka affirmed but negative events happen to those around him in most things he does. |
Collynzo9:I like the way you ended it 'Where there is a will, there is a way'. If he has little or no skeleton in his cupboard, he can stamp out corruption. All that is required of him is to strengthen our judicial institution and anti graft agencies to work without fear or favour. Those corrupt ones then we have to sit up. |
Horlawoomey:You are my person. I was scrolling down to remind them of the missing $20bllion when I saw your post. That money when found shall be more than enough to finance revenue short fall. |
