PoliticsRe: Underground Cables For Electricity Distribution by collynzo2(m): 7:03pm On Nov 28, 2013
Prepaid meters is another concept that they will have to make more widespread. People have to learn to conserve electricity.
PoliticsRe: Underground Cables For Electricity Distribution by collynzo2(m): 7:01pm On Nov 28, 2013
I am sure they are already considering it. They will probably start introducing it with connections in newly developing layouts, then gradually replace the already existing pole distribution system with underground cables where possible.
Little by little we will get there.
PoliticsRe: Will The Igbo Ever Rule Nigeria? by collynzo2(m): 6:55pm On Nov 28, 2013
How will an Igbo Presidency affect an average Igbo man? How has Jonathan's presidency affected an average Ijaw man on the streets other than militants like Asari? The Northern part of the country has had the largest share of the Presidency, but they still have the poorest and most illiterate region in the country.
All we need is a good President.

CultureRe: Why Do Igbo People Detest Marrying Other Tribes? by collynzo2(m): 4:03pm On Nov 28, 2013
The Osu shît has been abolished in Igbo land decades ago, if it is still practiced in your village then you are in the overwhelming minority. Name your village where it is being practised let the whole world know, stop disgracing Igbos as a whole. Nonsense.
SportsRe: Nigeria Currently Ranked 36th In The World And Still 4th In Africa by collynzo2(m): 12:23pm On Nov 28, 2013
The annoying thing is that we actually dropped points, not just places.
I wonder how the match we lost against Jordan was enough to make us lose so many despite having a win and a draw against Ethiopia and Italy respectively. If we had won that match they would have said it wasn't a Grade A friendly and all that, how many points did the 4-1 win against Burkina faso by the same home-based team give us? How may points did the 4-1 CHAN qualification win agains Cote D'Ivoire give us? There is something very fishy about this FIFA ranking.
PoliticsRe: Time For APC To Prove Their Progressiveness And Make Amaechi Thier Flag Bearer by collynzo2(op): 1:25pm On Nov 27, 2013
nuclearboy: I would actually love the idea of Amaechi as APC flag-bearer!

1. The SS will have 8 years
2. Amaechi will so deal with the militants and these that have despoiled Nigeria (they are his current enemies)
3. The north (and SW) trust him and he will likely agree to serve one term
4. He will keep to agreement
5. He will disarm the SS and nothing will happen because Ijaw will then realise itsekiris, ikwerres etc won't support them
6. He is a performer who is also presidential in manner and eloquent
7. His romances prove he is detribalised and will be a bridge builder
8. He will definitely kick out GEJ and wow, prison is on the horizon for PEJ (not GEJ)
9 and 10 (double whammy). His investments into education in Rivers show he has a thinking head - there is NO bettter way to help the future than with education and he has proved he knows!

Whist Buhari is "the man", Nigeria is too complicated and ethno-religious for him right now with the hatred being currently stirred up! He's sat in the seat before and would really be best in like a PTF (advisory or supportive) position to someone like Amaechi!

Amaechi vs Jonathan would be a chess move that will put APC into the hall of grandmasters
I couldn't have said it any better.

Azedplus: @ the op, dat's in ur mind, there are other factors and variables that will still play out before the time so don't come here to be the all-knowing
Other factors like religion and ethnicity?

A.jeez:
Hahaha...why are all "these people so scared of BUHARI's candidacy?? Smh
Buhari is an epitome of backwardness. If GEJ is called clueless, Buhari will be cluelessness itself.

Check out the posts of some so called ''progressives''. Prove yourself and present your best candidates, forget ethnic and religious bias. Show your progressiveness.

Aigbofa: Fashola too ethnocentric? You can stick with with your GEJ without having to run other people down, you know.
You concoct lies, you repeat it ad infinitum and hope it becomes the truth.
I believe you should just stick with GEJ and not "back stab" him in your quest for an ibo President. Remember he is relying on your votes.
If a better candidate than GEJ comes up, why not? I thought you guys said GEJ was an Igbo president already? One thing is for sure, If Buhari is the only alternative come 2015, GEJ will surely get my vote.
PoliticsTime For APC To Prove Their Progressiveness And Make Amaechi Thier Flag Bearer by collynzo2(op): 7:21am On Nov 27, 2013
APC members always pride themselves as progressives even though most of their actions have fallen short of being progressive in nature. With the 2015 elections coming up, they can decide to be progressive, shun the archaic zoning formula and field their best candidate for the Presidential elections or they can go down the non-progressive path of fielding Buhari, who I feel has lost touch with the present world.
The two most qualified candidates for the Presidential seat in APC are Amaechi and Fashola, both have done well as governors of their respective states, both are what one can describe as modern politicians. However I feel someone like Fashola is too ethnocentric to rule a diverse nation like Nigeria. Amaechi on the other hand has the rich experience of governing a diverse and multi-ethnic state like Rivers without any ethnic bias whatsoever.
Amaechi has done well as governor of Rivers state, most of those against him will only cite his rift with Jonathan as their reason for opposing him.
Come 2015, if APC makes him their presidential candidate, they will get my vote (and that of most Nigerians I presume) however if they field a past it politician like Buhari, they should get used to seeing GEJ till 2019!
