initiate: What is the value of that whole pyramid in the international market today? Can the whole output pay the salary of civil servants even in one local govt?
Let's move forward pls. The world is in post industrial stage and u are still clutching agric as economy mainstay Ask them o, is it groundnut money we will use in building roads and bridges this 2015? What we need is a strong manufacturing sector that will make use of agricultural products and other raw materials to produce finished products. Exporting raw agricultural products won't do us any good, their prices are falling even faster than oil. |

Take away the Nigeria's thirst from N.delta Oil, And we'll excel in Agric It is no longer useful, except you want to set up manufacturing industries that use groudnut as raw material. Else selling groundnut isn't profitable at this time. |

Just learnt APC office in Rivers has been bombed. E dey really show how Modu Sheriff's boys is in cahoots with PDP to destabilize Nigeria - the bomb masters now don't want elections in Rivers seeing as even the center isn't holding no more I detest lies and ignorant diatribes. Why not address the post and the questions raised. APC Rivers office being bombed can only be the same thing as the staged Buhari's entourage bomb attack in Kaduna for the purpose of gaining sympathy. |

Talking about dealing with boko haram from the beginning, who was crying genocide when the were being dealt with at the beginning? Who were the people threatening to drag Jonathan and his COAS to International Criminal Court for Killing Boko haram members? Who was insisting that Boko haram members be pampered like ND militants instead of killed? How dare you now turn around to accuse others of preventing Jonathan from dealing with Boko haram? bushdoc9919: That is the problem I have with many PDP supporters here.
Many of them refer to Northern Muslims by uncomplimentary names....and yet...they cannot win this election without getting votes from them in substantial numbers.
Obama was not liked by conservative white christians....and he too did not like them. Yet...when running for president in 2008....he stilll reached out to them....because he knew that he had to get votes from them.
Likewise, Mitt Romney campaigned among blacks in 2012...even though he knew they would not vote for him...but he still tried.
In this democracy....we have to get rid of tribal and religious bigotry. That goes for all of us. Comparing the actions of Obama and Romney with the actions of Jonathan's supporters eh? How convenient. What has Jonathan not done to reach out to northerners? While you are at it feel free to tell us the war of words and name callings that was going on between Obama's supporters and his opponents' on social media during his campaign. I hate when people like you distort facts just to misinform and deceive the gullible. SMH |

Buhari supporters indeed. I did not see any APC or Buhari supporters in the video. I only saw youths who have problem seeing PDP bus. The youths were angry to see bus of a party who has brought misery on them for 16 years. A party who has failed to provide them security against Boko Haram.
Below was what happened to Buhari and APC supporters in Port Harcourt on Monday. They were chanting ''Buhari Oyoyo'' or something like that. |

Politics › Re: Why Did Buhari Arrest Ojukwu? by Collynzo9: 11:49am On Jan 10, 2015 |
Adminisher: The problem with Nairalamd is there are too many half educated and unexposed young people, semi illiterates actually who have lost the power to research anything or think due to an inadequate educational system. A lot of them start ignorance exposing threads and spew trash unnecessarily.
First of all, Ojukwu was not of concern to the Buhari Idiagbon regime at all. The biggest enemy they had was Umaru Dikko, the NPN strong man who had stolen money and was threatening to start a gov't in exile, there was later an even bigger enemy within the administration itself which we now know was Babangida.. Ojukwu himself had been out of the country in exile for years and was only invited back by the NPN gov't to boost their chances in the East against Zik. At the time Ojukwu came back to Nigeria, he was practically friends with everybody except funny enough, the Lagos State government that was sitting on his dad's numerous properties in Lagos. Ojukwu was a spectacle to behold and he attended Miss Nigeria contest as guest, fell in love with the winner, CC Onoh's daughter who became his wife. That was the Ojukwu we knew, a glamorous celebrity.
When Buhari came in all politicians had messed up big big time and were very unpopular. The jailing of all politicians included Ekwueme Ojukwu, Pa Ajasin and Okadigbo who used to insult Zik in public. Akinloye and Akinjide ran to the UK. Most active senior politicians were in prison except Zik, Awo and Shagari who was put on house arrest. The Buhari regime came in as heroes to rescue the country and most newspaper articles were favourable. Umaru Dikko who was later put in a crate was like the Shekau now, a public enemy No.1 Please cure your delusion. The Buhari regime was not about Ojukwu and Ojukwu was not the main issue of the day. It was just an Hausa-Fulani civilian government being overthrown by Hausa-Fulani military officers. Pure and simple. It is funny how people like you insult others call them illiterates only to go on and spew the most illiterate jargon ever. How does this your long trash answer the question? Ojukwu wasn't occupying ANY public office before Buhari came in, he had no access to public funds at all, so what was Buhari's reason for arresting him? If this was an exam, you would have used 5 sheets to answer just one question only to get a big F at the end. Shame on you. |

You know that your Delta state is 100% PDP and Buhari's chance of winning any state in the South east, even though low, is a thousand times bigger than his chances of winning in Delta? We have APGA we can always vote for at Gubernatorial level..why not channel your energy towards getting your Delta brothers to abandon PDP first before harassing Igbos everywhere for the same reason?
