A cursory look at the EPL table just showed that Nottingham forest will be dragged into relegation zone if Luton wins today. That is scary for Aina and Awo
For the uptenth time. Finidi George is the new coach of Nigeria. We have to understand that each of us has a reason to either say that he is either the right man for the job or not. Many here say that he ain't corrupt and not on his tactical ability. Many here who criticised him after the friendlies are at the moment rooting for him to get it right. While some that didn't critic him then are not rooting for him based on what they have analysed afterwards. Bye and large. It doesn't matter if you are for Paul or if you are for Appolos. SE is our team. Taunting and insulting someone because he feels Amuneke is better equipped for the job makes no sense in anyway one looks at it. It's his opinion and it will not remove finidi from the post. I'm happy that NFF has given him the privilege to get his assistants. So it's left for Mr George to prove the doubters like my humble self wrong. Not being corrupt can only help him to pick players who are in good form but it has no bearing in picking the correct player for the job, because the correct man might be in Zanzibar. It will not help him in applying the right tactics and during game time substitutions to alter the play. In essence, if he is not sound, and doesn't have balls of steel, we all will see it. The buck stops at his table. We can banter, but not insults. Tankio
Where is HellAnus when u need him. Your minister said some Ghosts doesn't want power to work on. Nameless people oh. When I thought that I have heard it all.
Kog45: Even Finidi was rated poor winning one losing one.
Na here Finidi vs Amunike Dey hot o,fans don accept na to support Finidi.
Finidi is d coach. I keep wondering how the fans support will help him to succeed. The buck stops at his table. He selects d players, he decides the formation. He makes d sub. All na him by himself. He d better prove doubters like me wrong. Importantantly make him shave that beards wey him dey like wicked village uncles.
Please one key things that I have not seen here is the contact duration of the new coach. Or did he sign a coach for life contract Hmm. Things are not adding up. OK. I have seen it. It's 2yrs.
Gistmedia10: A young Nigerian boy has amazed observers with his remarkable mathematical abilities. In a viral video, the unidentified boy was approached by a bystander who presented him with challenging math problems.
The bystander used his phone calculator to solve some complex equations. After revealing the result, he turned to the boy and asked for his answer, anticipating hesitation or a different outcome.
To the astonishment of those present, the boy confidently provided the exact same answer as displayed on the digital calculator, without any hesitation. His precise and swift response left everyone speechless, as they struggled to comprehend his advanced mathematical skills at such a young age.
komekn: Once again having a PhD in software engineering doesn't make you an IT Guru. You can consider the small example of Microsoft boss and university drop out Bill gates.
UEFA badges are a competency test not a measurement of application excellence. I've said this several times before.
Max Verstappen made his Formula 1 debut on March 15, 2015, he had not passed his driving test and did not have a driver's license.
Amunike is the product of historical corruption, godfatherism, alliances & clicks, favouritism, under that table under handed deals, etc he was birthed by the NFF and part of the problem.
Finidi is the RIGHTEOUS CHANGE we have been waiting for literally decades.
Hope u will not shout corruption when the names start rolling out. And Musa name show. Anyways whatever be the case. Finidi need to win the confidence of his Captain. ASAP. His captain can help him in the dressing room when push comes to shove.
joelsteron: I wan to understand something in super eagles midfield.
I know Wilfred Ndidi is a defensive midfielder Frank Onyeka also is a defensive midfielder Raphael Onyedika a defensive midfielder Yusuf Alhassan a defensive midfielder Alexander Iwobi is attacking midfielder
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
If not, then we lacking and we need proper Central Midfielders and attacking midfielders in Super eagles.
We know that we have this problem. But try to mention one name as a stop gap. They will come for ur head immediately. Some will even finish a sheet with thesis Just to prove that the player is not good without providing an alternative.
okoroemeka: some people are super intelligent and can walk through that chemistry in less than 10 mins,I can't help but remember a guy called scientist in our days at St Charles special science school onitsha, this dude is super brilliant and got all waec subjects A1 including Igbo, when we are still in ss2 he took Gce and jamb and got admission to unzik studying computer science ,the funniest and wierd part is that you will never see him reading,it seems like all the textbooks are already imprinted and stored in his brain, incredible fellow
ChrisKels: LoL I don't want a local coach. I was thinking they would appoint that Dutch coach that Owngoal once speculated about.
NFF couldn't afford him. Finidi is the cheaper option. We pray they don't sabotage the nation to get what they want. Those people in the glass house sabi throw stones oh. Instances litter everywhere. 2006 wcq in Kano. Ngr vs Angola. 2pm kick off. Afcon qualifier. Ngr vs Guinea. Afcon qualifier. Ngr vs Egypt in Kano under hot afternoon sun. U20 ngr vs Sudan inside potato farm. After they have won Sudan away. Finidi should pray that his career will not be sacrificed.
komekn: The best thing to happen to Nigerian football ⚽ in a long time.
For once a man of unquestionable integrity, it's better to lose righteously than to win dubiously.
There is talk of he doesn't have a UEFA pro license. It's a baseline of competence but it's not competence in itself. It's like have a driving licence ( in most countries you have to pass a test ) however it doesn't make you a an excellent driver.
You can have a BSc in business management and be clueless about how to run a business.
My only concern, is sabotage and contentions. The NFF for generations have a deep seated culture of corruption, nepotism, favouritism, godfatherism, will the powers that be give FINIDI a free hand to manage and select his team.
I think he should choose his own backroom staff and not accept the ones the NFF will impose on him.
Great 👍🏿 news
Lool!!! NFF will definitely provide his assistants. Even APC will nominate someone also. I don't want to mention names. That's the norm with NFF when it comes to local coaches. Siasia during his time brought in Kalika himself. Maybe if Finidi has a close somebody that worked with him in Spain, he can bring him in. If not he will be given party loyalists as assistants.
elyte89: But come to think of it..even d d coach was appointed earlier dis month or now,d coach will have just 3 to 4days to train d invited players…Abi is dere any difference?
A new coach appointment on time is a plus. He will need time to study the players that will fit into his philosophy. Wait oh. Na coach elyte? Now I know why u love Kati Kati route 1 footie
lbrichman2: Bros be calming down na abeg The good thing is, we have players now who atleast are fighters, regardless of who the coach turns out to be We would still need a miracle to qualify, no doubt
My good brother. What is staring us in the face is sabotage. We can either agree or continue playing the ostrich as usual. History is about repeating itself. If NFF could afford a foreign coach, we for don get coach since. Sports ministry wants to have a say on who to be appointed since na dem go foot d bill. NFf no gree. That's the merry go round. Las las world cup will be sabotaged. Then at the end a foreign coach will be appointed.
lbrichman2: Yes o Egbon, Oganla reports on X that NFF executive committee just met for the first time yesterday to discuss our Coach issue.. hmm
He also reports that they have selected a local coach and will make an official statement this week..
This our Coach situation na.. " the more you look, the less you see.."
It would take a miracle for us to qualify for the world cup
Like I have said. History has shown that issues like this always occur whenever they want to appoint a local coach. Don't be surprised that the match will be pushed to Abuja or Kano and kick off time will be 2pm. The country no dey shock me again. A country where a president voted against his country. A country that took players that came in during winter to Hot Kano sun for a crucial WCQ. The same country did same for AFCON qualifier. Country that took it's U20 players to water logged and potopoto pitch to play a crucial qualifier match. A country that told it's coach that he needs outright win whereas a draw is enough. All because they want the man in the dug out to fail. Nothing dey shock me again. The in coming coach has been set up to fail. He needs nothing but a miracle.
komekn: It's not so simplistic the EPL is the best league in Europe and Seria A is third.
AC Milan historically has much more silverware and I think MAYBE better players.
It was an expired and irrelevant Giroud in the EPL that goes to AC Milan and becomes top dog in Seria A.
The best players in general get paid the most and in general the best clubs pay the most. But when you compare different leagues it's not so straightforward.
Actually Olise currently earns more than Chukwueze and is two years younger has had a far better season and is wanted by top clubs.
Olise 15 games 7 goals and 4 assists Chukwueze 22 games , 1 goal and 1 assist.
So Chukwueze is best because he plays at AC Milan according to you .
Abeg let me rephrase myself again. Best players play for big clubs. In here and now, AC Milan is bigger than Crystal palace. Nowhere in my writeup did I mention leagues. I only said club. Unless u can prove to me that Crystal Palace is bigger than AC Milan. If you can't , then all those ur grammar no hold any Water. It no go tey Fulham will be bigger than Napoli go comot for your mouth too. Remember once again that you are the originator of that quote. No dey carry goalposts anyhow.
kennysville: U mean we still don't have a coach named yet? Na sabotage loading currently. Whoever taking that job now should just bear in mind that he is being properly set up to fail. And will also take the fall for non qualification for the world cup should that be the case.
It's always the norm whenever they want to appoint a local coach. Next they will move the game to Kano. Match time 2pm. Witchcraft I don't envy whoever will mount the saddle. He has a mountain to climb through a very bad terrain. It's a pity
TheSuperNerd: This is exactly the mindset I want fans to have but nope... they become "Komeknish" and start talking down "valid" options we have outside the top 5 that fits the roles that needs upgrades or natural slot fillings.
Well done Kog.
Whatever it will take for us to win the MF battle is welcome. Our match against Mali just reminded me of Nig 99 u20 wyc Ngr vs Mali. Seydou Keita and his gang running rings in our MF.
Kog45: I don’t care where we get the midfielder from,we just need someone in that middle and if we failed to act fast we are not going to WC.
In order words, no more consistent top performance in top 5 league thing. I am an advocate of if I'm getting low current from phcn and I see I pass my neighbour gen set. I will manage it first till I get full current. But some of us will rather stick with the low current because of hatred for the small gen set. Like my papa always say when he was alive. Na only one day witchcraft take senior hatred.
TheSuperNerd: Time has also again proven TheGoodJoe right on Maresca's anticipated improvement of Ndidi.
And some that play God said that u don't teach an old dog a new trick. That Ndidi will never improve again. Na here we still dey for our eyes come dey see Ndidi dey bomb forward, give assists, score goals, come begin dey dribble join. Old dog finally learnt a new trick.
Kyng1: Good morning Nairalanders, I will try to make this as brief as possible.
It happened last two week's Friday, after sleeping with a prostitute, the sex laster about 49 mins and after ejaculation I saw thick red blood all over my dick, it happened that she was on her period, and hide it from me, which she denied that she thought it has completely dried off, I'm mad at myself because I didn't use a condom. "I haven't been using condom with her though, I last had sex with her about a month plus that was the evening of my marriage day, since then I haven't called or had sex with her, until I went back last two weeks Friday.
So after everything, I went home that evening and took 3 cipro tab, next day, my groin was extremely painful and the lymph nodes on my groin swelled. Two days later I developed a mild fever, accompanied by a light headache, bitter mouth and 4 day's later I had sore throat, and swollen lymph nodes on my both under jaws and front of my right ear. Until now my throat is still sore.
I have taken full pack of cipro tab and other drugs but it's not working, I did syphilis text on Saturday and it came back negative, yesterday I went for more text but the lab attendant isn't around, so I met the Dr on duty and explained everything that happened, he told me not to waste my money to conduct more tests that what I have is chicken pox and not an STD infection, I disagreed because I have previously had chicken pox about 11 years ago, although I had just one boil close to my nose back then when I contracted it.
So he gave me these drugs below, I swallowed it last night and applied the lotion, but instead of the boils to dry down, they became more fresher and ripe when I woke up this morning.
I went to another lab this morning and the Dr I met told me that it's chicken pox, he gave me drugs and injection. I'm highly hoping for it to be effective.
Please, Dr's in the house is this really chicken pox? They're all over my face, little on my head, arms, legs, stomach, beards and back.
charlesemeka85: Napoli are interested in Terem Moffi (25) from OGC Nice. The Nigerian striker has scored 10 goals in Ligue 1 this season and is valued at €30M. 🇳🇬
