Recipe pls

Scent leaf
Locust Beans (Iru)
Melon (egusi)
Palmoil
Smoked fish/ Fresh fish (especially titus), Meat/Chicken, (whatever)
maggi
salt
Pepper (Fresh atarodo)

pluck the leaf from the stick and cut like vegetable for easy blending,
wash your iru, pepper and slice your onions.
Put them in a blender, add water and blend to smooth (not too smooth though). It shouldn't be too watery or too thick.
after blending, pour it into your pot and add palm oil. @ this stage, u can add ur stock water if you use fresh fish or chicken or meat. if there is no such, add little water then put ur smoked fish or whatever u have available. cover it and allow to steam very well, don't leave it long on fire.

Scent leaf soup is ready.

To treat Pile (jedi jedi): don't add melon to it.
you can as well wash and squeeze it with little water (add just a pinch of salt). After squeezing, add another little water, sieve it and give to whoever wants to take it. (I give this to my son every 2 weeks to wash his system cos of all these ribena and co.). If the child doesn't want to take it, use syringe and give by the side of the mouth.

I don poo this morning sha...and my pregnancy is gonna be a healthy one in Jesus name Amen!

I don't see it as an issue self, it happened to me during my first pregnancy, and I had a very healthy pregnancy. The only issue is when u don't release gas within those poo free days, u might feel heavy and not comfortable. Also, body differs too, like myself I hardly go to the toilet everyday and some supplement that contains iron use to harden my stool. As long as u dey release fresh air everyday and not that u don't poo at all, u don't have issue. Just continue to be taking ur veggies and fruit and be drinking enough water. Happy waddling and safe delivery.

My dear, please obey the doctor's order for bed rest. It's better to be safe than sorry after all you are almost there. Yes, cervical incompetence is 2nd trimester wahala but you can't just ignore it. Get another ultrasound scan done at another clinic for the benefit of doubt.
I learnt about cervical incompetence with the loss of my son @ 18 weeks 17/04. It's a bitter experience.
I hereby withdraw from race until further notice cc @ September teamies. Can't go back to previous posts for my teamies monikers but to you that is always checking on me, I am most grateful. Wishing you all a healthy pregnancy and safest delivery at the right time.

No be small thing 0, funny enough he has a book for it (bought from kidco). I saw the book and started singing it to him, since then, no rest from singing. It was hell on sunday, I sang the song so tey, i taya. He will just pick the book and say mummy sing, Daddy sing. The father will say go and meet mummy.

Chai, this kids won't kill us with funny attitude, you have to behave like them to make them happy.

May we live to see them excel in life In Jesus Name.

The best soup for pounded yam for me , I use to mix with little egusi (melon), plenty iru (locust beans). My son started taking it when he was 6 months old and thats what I give to him whenever he is running stool. Working well for us.

your LO is fine, but please for more strength, u need to eat well and and also make sure the little u r eating is well balanced for baby to get enough nutrients. You are almost through and God will make it easy for u.

The pregnancy that birth my precious Prince started as a surprise. I was on FP injection and still calculated my safe period religiously but God has a better plan for me,to bless me with a special angel. Lols .So the journey started through ms,constipation etc. Fast forward to 24weeks,I started having pains which was confirmed to be pre-term labour,my cervix had shortened and was starting to open. I was placed on bed rest and pelvic rest and given drugs to stop contractions.I managed myself till 34 weeks wen the bed rest was lifted,then I started getting pains and feeling very uncomfortable.
I was treated for malaria,fesolate tablets increased and was monitored weekly.
At 37 weeks,d pain had increased with strong fruitless contractions (was on 2cm all d while).I became restless, my mother instinct kept telling me that dere is something wrong but I couldn't figure it out.
I kept going to d hospital every other day but dose doctors will just say madam go and wait,it's not yet time.
One day,I couldn't sleep,painfull contractions and baby was restless,I cried throughout d nite and very early in d morning,I was in d hospital
Dis time around,I insisted on seeing d senior doctor dat took d delivery of my girls. I waited for hours and some devils in human form where telling me to just keep wasting my time wen i can see another doctor but i refused.
Immediately he came,he checked me and told me to come back dat same day to be induced the next morning.
D next morning,after checking my baby's heartbeat for several times,d induction started. I was doing fine and contracting well till I got to 9cm and got stuck. D enemy is in trouble ooo. I was in pains,weak,my baby could not descend into d birth canal and suddenly his heartbeat started going down and within minutes, my bp was also going down.I was placed on oxygen immediately.
I started shivering and weeping and telling dem to please save my baby even if I had to go. My mother came in and prayed for me,she told me all will be well dat I can't go before her.
My doctor came in at dat point and I was rushed into d theatre. I signed the consent form in d theatre myself,told dem it's my life and can't wait till wen my husby will be back. I just wanted my baby alive and I had given up on myself.
Few minutes into d session,I heard my baby's cry den I started strugling to be awake.My doctor den said look at your baby,it's a boy,you need to be alive for dis boy,just struggle,let's do dis together,u can't leave dis boy alone and dey placed him close to me,den d strength came and we fought through together.my baby came in at 6:38pm on april 10 weighing 3.8kg,welcome to our beautiful world,my Prince Charming.

Thank God you are a living testimony, some have same experience but couldn't make it through. The devil really failed. You will never regret the day u gave birth to ur son, he will forever be a source of joy to u.

I remember when my niece use to have it then, her father will burst it and clean with spirit after 30 mins, then apply GV. But I prefer penicilin ointment, it cures anything that has pulse on my baby's skin. seems its baby's that are fair and have soft scalp that do have it.

Why asking all time? Its my husband'd duty to know what they brought not his mum, na pokenosing. Also asking what me and his son discussed whenever we have private discussion. The way she go ask self, u go know say na gbeborun, I go just dey laff and walkaway.

I just make a reference to my post above just to relate with the OP how some MILs interfere in their son's/daughter's home.

In-laws and their wahala. I remember when my MIL came for omugwo, whenever someone came to visit with gift, she will ask what is inside. I answered her like 2 occassions, and she didn't stop to know everything brought for the baby, na so I stopped answering her anytime she asked. That was the end to those questions.
