Same here, I have been unable to know the gender o but am just praying for a girl. I went for scanning last week Friday, and to the Glory of God, everything is fine. Still on progesterone injection, the stuff don taya mi. I treated malaria last week as well. Jehovah God will make it easy for us.

BS , So I went for my Thursday antenatal appointment and the crowd was alarming ( thanks to the previous public holiday on Thursday in Lagos). I waited sha till my turn and doctor said since I was 39 weeks 4 days, she will schedule me for induction cos of high bp....previously, my bp has been increasing per week. I had the same issue too with my first. so I was admitted with about 17 patients for the day...9 for cs ,6 for induction, 2 for bed rest....the doctors were already tired by the end of the day and they were on call 8am to 8 am the following day with the hope that they will attend to all of us on Friday.
My catheter for induction couldn't be fixed on Thursday night and no doctor had my time till Friday night....the doctor was harsh to me at first(his nature) and I simply told him to calm down and smile if he is going to attend to me....by Saturday morning, the catheter removed and I was 4 cm....meanwhile, the doctors were not through with the scheduled cs patients (2 to go) so you can imagine the hunger on them.
my water was bursted and contractions started. at about 7cm, naso 2 young midwives entered my labour room .I had this contraction and my hand hit one of them and she hit me back strongly. when the contraction finished, I sent her out and told her I don't want to see her again in that room.
at 10 cm,baby refused to come out after several pushes for over an hour. my pelvic was swollen, the doctors couldn't read my baby's heartbeat and the doctors advised I go for a cs.I was already scared cos I thought I would loss my baby.
the contractions were so much that I couldn't hold back the pushes again. during the section a matron had to push the baby back from my vagiinall and baby came out screaming so much.
naso I suffer hunger strike from Friday afternoon still monday.

I can't but laff @ this ur BS especially @ d bolded.
Nurses and pregnant women drama.

Pls is it safe to soak garri, I really don't mind that with plenty milk and groundnuts but I'm scared of lassa fever oo, they say eat only Eba because of the hot water used to prepare it but I really crave ice cold soaked garri sha, pls can i go ahead.....

If u dey fear to soak gaari, the solution I have for u is to re-fry it with fry pan, and make it hot, lower the fire very well and keep steering till it becomes very hot, park and spread on a tray and allow it to get cold before keeping it in a bucket or tight container. Just dey fire your gaari anytime u want it. lobatan.

Hello sis, i personally prefer general hospital cos all the specialist will be on ground to attend to one should there be any emergency.

Going by Ur weeks, you are team October.

That's just one thing about govt hospitals, you will have a specialist to attend to you in case of emergency. But some of these our private hospitals, its nurses that will be on ground. Auxilliary nurse for that matter, I can never forget what I went through last year July when I had miscarriage. I am only alive today just by God's Grace.

Though my current antenatal is with a private hospital, but I am giving birth @ teaching hospital, God help me.

Hearing how much they sell pad now am not bothered but DH be thinking something is wrong with me and keep asking questions sef, I told him it might not even come till a year postpartum as he's looking me like "this woman are you okay laidis" E joor Abi something is wrong me ni will be 7 month postpartum by Wednesday

How can one tell, if she has hormonal imbalance. A friend has a year old baby and she said she has been trying to conceive since her baby was 9months nd no show, my question after giving birth is there anything a mum should do to prepare herself for another journey, nd what could possibly go wrong?

She might find it difficult to conceive if she is still breastfeeding, same thing happened to me. I tried to conceive when my baby (1yr 2 months) was still breastfeeding, but immediately I stopped breastfeeding then, I was able to take in. Her case might be the same.

You will be surprised to see her with full hair as she grows. I only have the centre hair when I was a kid (courtesy of pictures), I grew up to have full and strong hair.

But its still a funny thing to me to see boys with full hair and girls with scanty hair. Thank God for hairbands, If I have a baby girl with scanty hair, I no go stress myself cos na work.
