simplebukky:No need to trim, you wan turn baby to ibile (village girl)? You can start using those small fancy rubber ring for babies, not plaiting, seems they call it puffpuff style. Always fine with full curly hair. cc: onegai AlphaHandMaiden helovesme rofemiguwa . Pls answer our sis o. |
sugarcanebaby:Don't mind them, so those babies that lost their mother during child birth should not eat or they will bury them with their mother for EBF. I tire for people's opinion over someone else baby as if they love him/her more than the mother. |
feddy27:Gbam!!!!! |
Zheemub:My sister, whenever I try biting him back, he will just be laughing and will even trying putting his hand in my mouth to bite. I have started beating him o. I kent shout. |
[quote author=feddy27 post=51220065]Good morning mamas! Just thought to share this and emphasise on the importance of immunizations. I went to a shop 2days ago and the owner told me hw she lost her infant to tuberculosis. After birth, he had not received the BCG yet and they went home. Someone with tuberculosis came visiting and carried the child. She didn't know the person had tuberculosis. That was where trouble started for her baby. He eventually died. Hubby's friend and wife came visiting and she was narrating how they have been in and out of hospital treating their infant of pneumonia. I simply asked if he was given the pneumococcal vaccine, she said no. My neighbour's toddler had chicken pox. 2wks now and they are still battling with it. The child is extremely sick now. I asked if she received the 2 doses of chicken pox vaccine, they said no. My son also had chicken pox early this year but then he had taken 1st dose of vaccine but was not old enough for 2nd dose. The effect was very mild with no single scars left on his body. Thanks for sharing! |
OP, please sorry for this question o. Is your husband smallish in stature? Cos that is how some of them behave, commanding respect with all manner of actions. |
dangotesmummy:Iya dangote! your opinion is just the best to me. Go your way make I go my way, we go meet for house. And if he shouts at me when we get back, I will retaliate. Sometimes, too much submission turn women to mumu. No thanks to our society. As for me sha, I don't take public insult, as you are talking I don reach far kilometers, shouting at me in public makes u an object of ridicule cos people will think you have high fever. |
thewife306:Better fr you o, also respect him but don't be too soft on him, whenever he raise any issue, stand on your ground. Both parties deserve respect In their union. |
Ayolight, how is our champion? Regards to her! |
mummymikey:Feel free to mingle sis. A beg mamas, my Boy wants to finish me with his teeth o, biting me everytime. The most annoying part is when am peeling yam, he will be putting his head between my legs and hold my cloth, before you know it, he will bite me and I won't be able to hold him because of the yam am peeling in order to avoid giving him body itching. And he doesn't do that to his father. I know we have treated that here, but can't remember the page again. cc: Soonest, fortuis, coldfeet and others mamas o. |

Jennykoko3009:Pele, the last time I had Apollo was 1993, my younger sis distributed it to the whole family including our newborn baby then. Meeeehn, that thing can be painful, will be as if they pour one bucket of sand in your eyes and it will be scratching. After morning devotion, we will all line up for injection from my uncle. I later heard that urine is an antidote but I don't know if its true. |
rofemiguwa:U get 3/10. |
Tojued:My dear, u pass for that your list o. My boy drank it o and you know how those guys sweat, use their hand to wipe and continue pushing their truck. Though, thanks to them o if not we for they suffer water well well. But you try for that mai ruwa definition o. |
Onegai:My sister! Your point was the main reason I agreed that day o, but God is the giver of wisdom, he will help me. I even told hubby on phone that I left him for them, he was very angry, so if I now tell him they gave him water maybe na my papa village I go dey now. |
mamas, pls let's be careful of where we keep hazardous things like kerosene and stuff o. One 13months old baby was on admission because she drank snipper. |
greatp80:True o! |
Onegai:He is fine now, Dr said he should take his antibiotics for ten days for his system to be properly cleared of infection. Thanks ma. |
Kidco, u need to pay commission to onegai o, she brought the idea of these books and the mama that mentioned you. If they are not ready to collect, I will do so on their behalf. |
I forgot to add, the grandmother even told me to be bringing him anytime I want to go to the market, that she is always available. I told no problems, knowing within me that: that day will be the first and the last. I kent shout! |
[quote author=babythug post=51138103]You shouldn't have allowed it stay for so long before speaking out! You're lucky my cane is far you for receive some lashes this morning! If its ringworm, I think Whitfield ointment will be nice to apply. But this doesn't look like ringworm. |
Tojued:Fine boy, he resemble Hansel o (mitchyy baby) |
Wonderful mamas, thanks for all the prayers, I really appreciate you all. Olamide is now hale and hearty. The result of the test shows he has infection and antibiotics was prescribed for him to be taken for ten days. My assumption of how he got infected, though I might be wrong but I will share it. Jejely o On Saturday, I was about climbing a bike to go get some foodstuffs. I carried my baby with me since his father was not around. As I was climbing the bike o, one of our neighbor asked me to bring him so she can back him till I come back. They have been trying to carry him since I gave birth to him but I always avoid that cos they are extremely neat (make I no talk another thing) and all their kids had this cough that refuse to go for a long time. But that day, I was hell in a tight corner, couldn't say no (they are also our church member and she is our home cell minister). That's how he collected him and I headed straight to the market. I didn't stay long cos my mind was with him. When I came back, and i went there to carrry him, I met him at the of their grandmother sleeping. She said she would bring him when he wakes up, I said Ok thank you ma. Went back home, but just praying that they should not give him anything to eat or drink cos of their extreme neatness. Only for the woman to bring him after 20mins and told me to teach him how to be taking water from cup, that he gave him water from cup and he doesn't know how to drink it but she helped him. Oh my God, my hubby must not hear this cos he has warned me against it already. I just said thank you ma. And this is the family that when they drink water in d home cell, they will pass the cup of water round and give same cup to any child that cares to drink. And this is the boy that I don't just give him any water. If its not bottle water, I give him sachet water (boil it myself). Now the water they gave him was all these Meruwa water!! That's was how vomiting started on sunday night o, terrible one that the father almost cried. I just kept it to myself, took him to the hospital that night. Never will I try it again whether its d cause or not. Not that he can't even drink from cup o, but I have seen him in two occasions that my friend wanted to give him the same drink his baby was drinking, but he refused. Sorry for my long ranting, I just have to let it out cos its really bother my mind. |
rofemiguwa:HWA dear, may God continue to preserve your home. Togetherness forever!!!! |
The devil is a liar big time!!!!! Thanks to God for the prayer offered on this altar! Like play o, my boy started running temperature around 1 am today and before we knew it, he started vomiting. We couldn't stand it and we rushed him to the hospital around 1:30am. This is the boy that has just been treated of malaria 2weeks ago. They ran malaria test for him but it was negative. We were referred to the hospital lab for test. That we have done this morning and result will be ready tomorrow. My boy cried to the extent that I was shedding tears unknowingly when they were taking his blood. They couldn't locate the vein on time cos he is very chubby. Thank God my hubby came back from his journey yesterday, I don't know how I would have coped. He is presently on medication and he is responding fine now. In another news, he was giving polio vaccine in the hospital, I asked d nurse why and she said there is outbreak of polio. None of us will bury our children on this platform and they will not be a source of concern to us. Sorry for my long post, just to let u guys know the situation of things. Thank you. |
fearless07:Thanks dear, how far about d rashes? |
rezzy:Thanks dear, how is our baby? |
helovesme:Better late than never, God bless you ma. |
RoadsAndGreen:Haba oga! how can you qualify someone's husband like this, its uncalled for. Seeking advice here does not mean we should disrespect the husband. This is very rude of you. |
