You can start using those small fancy rubber ring for babies, not plaiting, seems they call it puffpuff style. Always fine with full curly hair.

Don't mind them, so those babies that lost their mother during child birth should not eat or they will bury them with their mother for EBF.

I tire for people's opinion over someone else baby as if they love him/her more than the mother.

Sweetie, don't beat urself or feel less of a mother cos of EBF. I'm also doin mixed feeding and dat has been my decision for both babies. There is no medal for EBF! For combination, I feed formula at least 3xs a day. In the morning, after bathtime I give formula so she can sleep for long. Inbetween it's breastfeeding. Around 2-3, I give formula again, inbetween breastfeeding. Around 8-9pm b4 bedtime, I give formula. All tru the night, I do breastfeeding. The important thing is that baby is well fed.

Comtem2011, yes it has been discussed but don't know the page. It think the talk was to bite back to drive home the message. He will understand that if he bites you will bite back.
It had been working for me. I tell my son if he bites or beats me, I will do same too. I also follow with my threat if he does goes ahead to do it.
It might be crude but it works for me.

lol.the house help isn't the issue here or the problem .the house help is a minor matter. Even the yorubas say charity begins from home.the way you treat your wife is the way outsiders will treat her.if you see a man that is always ridiculing his wife in public e.g yelling in public or slapping in public, one day the brother inlaw who didn't have the nerves for such will do it because the husband has created a fertile ground for disrespect in the house.

A beg mamas, my Boy wants to finish me with his teeth o, biting me everytime. The most annoying part is when am peeling yam, he will be putting his head between my legs and hold my cloth, before you know it, he will bite me and I won't be able to hold him because of the yam am peeling in order to avoid giving him body itching. And he doesn't do that to his father.

I bought sports master chef flask on Thursday and I tested it when I got home, it kept water for 24hrs and am okay with that, got one last year and it serves me well to but not for 3 days o, though warm on d third day.

When you buy, always wash with warm water according to my customer.

The result of the test shows he has infection and antibiotics was prescribed for him to be taken for ten days.

My assumption of how he got infected, though I might be wrong but I will share it.

Jejely o On Saturday, I was about climbing a bike to go get some foodstuffs. I carried my baby with me since his father was not around. As I was climbing the bike o, one of our neighbor asked me to bring him so she can back him till I come back. They have been trying to carry him since I gave birth to him but I always avoid that cos they are extremely neat (make I no talk another thing) and all their kids had this cough that refuse to go for a long time. But that day, I was hell in a tight corner, couldn't say no (they are also our church member and she is our home cell minister).

That's how he collected him and I headed straight to the market. I didn't stay long cos my mind was with him. When I came back, and i went there to carrry him, I met him at the of their grandmother sleeping. She said she would bring him when he wakes up, I said Ok thank you ma. Went back home, but just praying that they should not give him anything to eat or drink cos of their extreme neatness.

Only for the woman to bring him after 20mins and told me to teach him how to be taking water from cup, that he gave him water from cup and he doesn't know how to drink it but she helped him. Oh my God, my hubby must not hear this cos he has warned me against it already. I just said thank you ma. And this is the family that when they drink water in d home cell, they will pass the cup of water round and give same cup to any child that cares to drink.

And this is the boy that I don't just give him any water. If its not bottle water, I give him sachet water (boil it myself). Now the water they gave him was all these Meruwa water!!

That's was how vomiting started on sunday night o, terrible one that the father almost cried. I just kept it to myself, took him to the hospital that night.

Never will I try it again whether its d cause or not.
Not that he can't even drink from cup o, but I have seen him in two occasions that my friend wanted to give him the same drink his baby was drinking, but he refused.

Sorry for my long ranting, I just have to let it out cos its really bother my mind.

Like play o, my boy started running temperature around 1 am today and before we knew it, he started vomiting. We couldn't stand it and we rushed him to the hospital around 1:30am. This is the boy that has just been treated of malaria 2weeks ago.

They ran malaria test for him but it was negative. We were referred to the hospital lab for test. That we have done this morning and result will be ready tomorrow.

My boy cried to the extent that I was shedding tears unknowingly when they were taking his blood. They couldn't locate the vein on time cos he is very chubby. Thank God my hubby came back from his journey yesterday, I don't know how I would have coped.

He is presently on medication and he is responding fine now.

In another news, he was giving polio vaccine in the hospital, I asked d nurse why and she said there is outbreak of polio.

None of us will bury our children on this platform and they will not be a source of concern to us.


Sorry for my long post, just to let u guys know the situation of things.
