Over the palmoil matter.
As a Yoruba o, there is nothing palmoil cannot be used for....and there is no one that cannot use it.

The palmoil and sugar helps to ease chesty cough and is an age-long remedy. Palmoil is used when stooling gets out of hand, when kids convulse too, palmoil is used to calm them down. It is rubbed on insect bites to reduce swolleness and itchiness.
Even on the day of the naming in a typical Yoruba setting, a drop of oil is placed on baby's lips. It is called "ero" meaning "antidote ".

I am not so much bothered about what remedy you should use but how a 6 week old child got cough. I understand if there is an older sibling. Those ones can pack germs like nansense. Or you live in a dusty area.
Usually once cold sets in, get ready for cough so do all you can to let the catarrh flow so it doesn't graduate to cough.
If not please mind those that kiss baby all in the name of love. Even you. Don't even let them put baby's fingers in their mouth.


Please see your Dr. but if all prescribed drugs( they won't give you cough syrup o) don't work in 3 days, use the palmoil and sugar. Just a tip of your finger is ok.

Does he poo everyday? if he doesn't pls allow him to fart. U can use hot water to mass sage the tummy. Pls don't give him any kanfura o abeg, its a phase that he will surely pass, just massage with hot water i. e put piece of cloth in hot water, squeeze the cloth and gently placed, remove and place again.

My brother has a Toyota corolla, very very clean cos he hardly use it, its a leather seat with brand new tyres, no body work, sound engine. He bought it around 2014 but just parked in the garage. The only issue now is that it's 2003 model, can uber accept it. Very very clean!

my dear No MIL will come to ur house n won't monitor how u live with ur husbby. According to the Bible, A man shall leave his family n be with his wife and the two will bcome 1. Am not against the MIL coming to visit but am so against her coming to stay permanently when she is not sick. What happened to her husband's house?, did her own MIL stay permanently with her in her matrimonial home?. The DIL in question did not stop her son from taking care of her. She should go take care of her hubby's house xcept she is a single mother dat never got married. My mum cannot spend 2weeks outside her late husbby's house.she will tell u to come n do whatever u want to do for her in her house cos she understands what d bible says abt marriage.

My dear, God bless you. Living permanently with your son/daughter's matrimonial home is out of it. If the wife is eventually not in support of one unpleasant attitude of the MIL, and you gently tell mama, she will turn it to another issue. You end up stressing yourself doing what you are not suppose to do. In my house, I wake up anytime I like on weekends, cook anytime I feel like but with third party, you are no more urself.

Visiting is normal but living permanently with me is a capital NO.

Sorry for late response, we have four for 13months too. I bought brush made for his age and this MacLean for milk teeth 0-7 years.

U can start brushing for him cos am sure he has started taking other meals aside BM/FORMULA.

His other driver is planning to unpaid him too, saying be will soon drop his car. These are guys that just started with him less than a week o. But they are experienced drivers with Uber.

Some people really are naturally rude, that coupled with the dynamics of the partner-driver relationship where the partner is your boss, can really cause some partners to become overly abusive. However, some drivers too have a persistently terrible attitude, which can lead to the partner getting frustrated and lashing out. I prefer to think of the relationship between partner and driver as a partnership in progress, taking into regard the fact that he/she is your boss. Like I said, it's a partnership, if everybody plays their role, especially the driver, it shouldn't be so difficult to co-exist professionally. After all there is a level of respect that must be accorded to every single individual, even a 1 month old baby!
About making 1 million in one month(lol), that is the work of the agreement you signed, it should have been understood what both partner and driver's expectations are before-hand. If driver signs an agreement that he can deliver 15 trips or will work 16 hours a day, and doesnt, then there would be a disagreement, which can lead to partner being seemingly 'rude'. If driver signs same agreement and excedes expectations, both parties would be in agreement. As it stands, there is more of driver supply than demand for drivers, which means it is a partner''s market, he/she can afford to do "yanga". I understand that a drivers' job is already difficult, but in these tough economic times, it is also not easy shelling out millions to buy a car. Try and find middle ground with your partner and also, be watchful of your own attitude as well.

Thanks, but the car is even faulty, engine brings out smoke, bad rear light, always calling the driver even on a trip, asking where are you when offline for just a minute, there is no agreement pertaining to target, the car consume fuel and be has not even for one day fill the tank. All he is shouting is money. The driver tried his best by respecting him and working hard but the partner is too possessive.

He has called him to come pick his car that he is no longer interested working with him.

Seems my early introduction of potty helped me o, I started since he was 6 months old,, now he is so used to it. I can't remember when last he poo in his diaper, he will always give sign by looking at your eyes continuously. The first thing we do in the morning after devotion is to sit on the potty and he will always do the doo.

Thanks dear... We saw his pediatrician last Friday and she said it was a fungal infection and she prescribed mycoten (1% clotrimazole). Used it for 2 days and the stuff cleared up but returned when MIL applied baby oil to his hair again.
Im thinking of using pure coconut oil instead for his hair and hoping he wouldn't react to that.

Try to reduce the oil so it will not touch his skin, seems he has a very sensitive skin, u ve to be careful of what touch his skin then. Try the coconut oil and see how it goes.

EBF babies get big cos my baby weighed 7.7kg @ 4 months, 11.2kg @ 9 months. To carry him was a serious job for me, it even affected by lefthand wrist. Thank God, he is independent now.
