My baby's was 9 days old when we did, home service by a nurse from FMC. After the whole thing, she told us to apply only penicillin and the ring fell off exactly 4 days.

Note: I apply the penicillin religiously, during every nappy change.

since I've given birth it was only the grace of God that we've been living
I started working back when my baby was three weeks as an assistant teacher. It has not been easy for me but I don't have choice
I always use style to push my child to our neighbor so that she can give her food
As I'm typing now I've not eaten anything since yesterday Apart from water. I was even afraid my breastmilk will go dry due to not eating well. But God has been wonderful in that part. It was my neighbor that gave me the garri that I've been eating. I don't have any means my mum that has been assisting us was robbed twice
so she too is managing

DANZAK, don't stress yourself, just feed him as at when due. Don't wait till he becomes hungry or cry before you feed him, as long as he is healthy, his weight will increase.

As per the breathing, if u ve been using powder on him pls stop asap. Then, don't expose him to dusty area, don't sweep while baby is there. With time, he will outgrow it. Also, make sure u wear chest covered cloth for him not necessarily long sleeve but the chest area should be covered.

Pls, don't load his system with drugs.

Always apply mentholatum on his feet, chest, palms and ribs especially in the morning.

Vegetables should be his main menu for now, especially ugwu. Also daily intake of folic is helpful but his diet should not be substituted for medicine. Let him take his balance diet very well, include liver, pumpkin leaf, milk, ewedu, and the likes.

He should also take his medication as prescribed, am sure blood tonic will be included.

Daddy should also take it easy with fasting o, u don't inherit kingdom of God with fasting, rather its through our handiwork. He should understand that fasting is not for everybody, he should also think of his age.

Exclusive babies don't poo everyday, some go for 3,4,5 days. Reason according to Google is that everything they consume via breast milk is important. Don't let baby be used to stimulation before doing the doo o.

2. I will say two times, morning and evening.
But not necessary you use soap in the evening, just a shower so that baby can sleep well.

3. Some use like 4,5,6 diapers in a day. As a new born, u must not wait till diaper is fully soaked before changing it. don't allow urine to stay longer than normal as it can cause diaper rash.

That's how my MIL used to complain anytime I wipe my baby's bum with wipes just for changing his diaper. Me no answer sha as per na my baby.

Cyprigold is cyproheptadine and i'm uncomfortable about its misuse for infants. It makes the child so drowsy, lethargic and even restless. Doctors prescribe it only when there obvious poor growth and it's on short term basis. I rather prefer mild stimulants like Vit Bco or multivite.

I am an African woman o, and rice is my bestie.

I developed a method by reducing my food intake and sometimes I forget I haven't taken breakfast, back to my pre-pregnancy body and I can now wear the clothes I got before my wedding. The exercise my boy is giving me is enough o, couple with domestic chore and going for normal business activities.

Onegai pls spare me o, I love that model body but can't work for me. Rice, I love u joor, don't mind our class captain.

Thanks to everyone who gave me tips on what to do, I am 90% better now, just cough and catarrh. I did the compress and took pcm on Saturday,the pain reduced. I went to the hospital yesterday, ran tests and I have malaria and I guess the mastitis. Was placed on 3days injection and given antibiotics,cough syrup etc.

I noticed the infected breast isn't producing much like some mama said, pls how do I make it produce o, cos it's my factory before, the other one doesn't produce much.

Cereal is not a generic name. It is a class of food that are purely grains. Am a food processor, we classified food of plant origin as cereals and legumes, root and tubers, fruits and vegetables, oilseed, e.t.c while that of animal origin we have milk, meat, fish, egg and poultry.

I think you guys are still saying the same thing by defining cereal, just the choice of words are different.

I remembered when I gave birth to my son, the nurse that took his delivery told me to wear my bra immediately that engorgement pain is as bad as having fever. The lady that was beside my bed experienced almost the same thing u r going thru just because she didn't wear her bra on time, her excuse was that she has not started lactating. The pain she experienced no be here o, she was shivering seriously and her body was so hurt.I told her to wear her bra and take pcm before she was relieved. So pls don't joke with your bra.

This goes to all the new mum in the house.
