I had catarrh yesterday...but I woke up this morning feeling so restless, my left breast is painful and I'm feeling a lumpy kind of thing in it, my baby refused to latch on it, so I ended up expressing but the lumpy thing is still there and painful too. I've been shivering,have headache,catarrh,body ache etc. I can't even get up to cook(dh not home),I managed to prepare pap this evening. Pls any mama with these experience before? I plan to go to the clinic if no improvement by morning.

As per d lump, it will go down if you can keep breastfeeding or you can massage/compress with hot water, I won't say cold water because of the flu u already have. Please go to the hospital tomorrow morning for proper treatment. But u can still take paracetamol as first aid.

all are good products, also, choose according to your pocket. Yes, baby can take pap alongside d one you buy, but don't allow d cereal to stay too long after opening. Don't give Golden morn yet not recommended for 6 months.

No vex, I had to do a lot of scrolling and I missed it a couple of times.
It's good their necks are getting strong. Honestly, I would wait till 4 months or even 4 and a half months, there's no rush. Try and lie them down propped on a pillow first. I didn't check any guideline so i wouldn't keep panicking that "baby isn't sitting, isn't walking, has no teeth, didn't get elected for School President, doesn't have a boyfriend, hasn't finished learning how to colour neatly so may not get admission into an Ivy league university". So, start sitting them propped up with pillows behind them in 2 weeks' time?

My God, people can be so annoying with all those listed above. Has he started sitting, crawling, my baby walked at 4 months o, no teeth, can he call daddy, my baby called mummy from d womb o.

I dey always vex hennn as if two people are the same. my answer is always "what is your name? then, when they answer, I will gladly tell them my baby's name. That makes them two different people.

Is what your baby will wear after grand entrance and clean up. that sleep suit is okay, cap, mitten, then go with ur shawl/thick or light flannel.

tanx so much I no efinrin very well my neighbor has it in her garden, in wot ways can I take ( squeezing out d juice, boiling or making it as soup d way u explained)

any how you dim fit, squeezing, boiling, souping , all goes. but if you are to squeeze, pls wash very well.

preparing as soup:
Blend with pepper, crayfish, locust beans (if u take it), u can add 1/4 cup of melon.
After blending, turn into the pot and add palm oil and other necessary condiment, cover it. just cook/boil for like ten minutes, soup is ready.

It is called efinrin in Yoruba, when u get to this Igbo market women that sell ugwu, water leaf and co, just tell them u want to buy scent leaf.

You can even make it inform of soup and add orisirisi inside, eat with whatever you are pleased with.

I blend my own with enough locust beans.

Good evening mothers. Mil is fond of opening windows throughout. I've pleaded but said she can't sleep in heat. We always visit one weekend every month. Dh said I should be covering Ds up and so I did but mosquitoes still managed to bite his face all over. Showed mil but said he was reacting to something and I left her place without saying anything.
I've decided to be taking mosquito net with me as I can't do without her.
Now ds is having temperature. Went to pharmacy and bought maxiquine syrup. I used it this morning and now. Pls is 2.5ml okay for 6months baby? I forgot to ask the pharmacist and no prescription dosage for baby on the leaflet.

Ma, I will advice you go back to the pharmacy to ask for prescription. or if there is any Dr you can call to ask.

You can do a smaller cake for him to take pictures, not necessary you do an elaborate parry.

My SIL order for a cake for my boy, that was what we used for his pictures, only for him to get 2 extra cakes as gift, we took it to the church for him to snap with his age mates and from there I shared cakes with the children and parents, they were happy.

@sugah, I Never experience any skin rashes on my baby, so I have no idea about the name. But there is this red leaf flower they use in treating eela in babies, if you can go local, I will advise u go to those Yoruba women that sell agbo stuff in the market, they will have what you can boil to bathe baby. They call them elewe omo.
