This Eko Ile guy is beginning to amaze me beyond comprehension. How can a reasonable human being support this unpopular policy where there is a federal body already saddle with this responsibility. Someone once said that the Eko Ile guy is a LASTMA official who started seeing food on his table courtesy of Fashola's obnoxious and inhuman policies. Common sense is beginning to make this assertion correct.

So Boko Haram has finally gotten to American soil? I have been watching this bombing footage in CNN and it probably looks like an IED explosion the type used by Boko Haram. I beg America to investigate the embarrassment thoroughly by sending drones to Northern Nigeria

Saying that Charly Boy is eccentric and weird is now an understatement. I have been enjoying his maverick lifestyle despite people's criticism. Meeting him one on one showed me the better humane part of him. But I must confess that this one is totally out of it

Goddex: I enjoin every lover of this country to watch this video.
Incidentally, I drove on this road two weeks ago from Enugu and could not believe my eyes.
Serious work is still going on between Enugu and Abakaliki though but the Abakaliki to Cameroon axis is wonderful.
The construction company did a wonderful job (CCECC or so.)

Shame on our local media - Punch, Nation, Sahara Reporters & Premiumtimes.
Foreign media will keep disgracing them this way.
Aligning with the opposition parties to run down the government
is all they know how to do best. For almost three weeks now all we've been fed by our
local media is Alamiesegha, Alamiesegha and Alamiesegha.

The local press is heavily politicise and will hardly report very many positive
developments across the country - interstate highways, powerplants, Federal Universities projects,
airports remodelling, teaching hospitals etc

the Nation newspaper is owned by Tinubu so you don't expect him to say something good about GEJ government.

sometimes I wonder the level of intelligence and exposure of some people in this forum like a pig and slowpoke like you. I need to remind you that during the ugly economic recession in 2008 in American, The Holywood was one of the driving force of the American economy. It was as solid as a rock despite the economic odds. Don't you think that there is need for Nigeria to record serious breakthrough in the movie industry just as they have done in the music industry. The movie industry is a billion dollar industry waiting for the right investment to make it viable.
Stop condemning slavishly and try to reason for once with your brain

Lol Perfectly on point. I know J Martin as one who recycle one bit. If one can go back and play "Good or Bad", "Iva" and so on, one can notice that they all have the same rhyme, concept and a common ancestor. As long as the music is danceable then let's go there. Finish
Politics / Re: Osun Acquires Helicopter For Aerial Surveillance, Emergencies by ConcernMan: 12:53pm On Feb 15, 2013
I hope this will get to the end users(the citizenry) and not a ploy to acquire a helicopter for private use of the bourgeois within the government circle. I'm sorry for sounding so cynical( I don't trust any government in Nigeria), but I think this is an avenue by government to acquire a private chopper without reprimand from the people who will condemn them for embarking on such elephant project.Judging from what I read I expected the helicopter to have the traditional Nigerian Police colour or inscription indicating the objective embedded in this article

Phones / Re: Internet Plan You Are Currently Using On Your Phone? by ConcernMan: 9:16am On Feb 09, 2013
tolsaac: I beg how can one watch you tube withoout extra chargesany1 with usefull information

There is an alternative way one can watch youtube contents without paying a penny. Instead of buffering the video you can just download it. Simply copy the name of the content you saw in youtube. I didn't say you should copy the address, copy just the name. Then go to duoberry.com, paste and search the name. The video you saw in youtube will automatically appear. Click "download" and get the content. The quality of video in this website is impeccable. Very sharp
Please note: when you click download you have to exercise a lot of patience because it takes a while before you will see the save option. Please just wait. Good luck.

Justiyke4u]Donoghue vs Stevenson

You are on point. In this case Lord Atkin in 1932 establish a principle in negligent by holding that a legal duty is imposed on manufacturers to ensure that their product is safe for human consumption and will be held legally liable if their is a breach of this duty. The fact of that case is also similar to this present case. In that case, a lady while drinking a bottle of ginger beer bought for her by her boyfriend saw a decayed snail inside the drink, legal action was instituted and damages paid.
This principle was also applied in a number of cases in nigeria they include: Osemobor v Niger biscuit (1973); Nigeria Bottling Co. v. Constant Ngonadi. In Osemobor's case while he was eating a biscuit made by Niger Biscuit he saw a decayed human tooth. His claim 4 damages also succeeded.
There is no impediment whatsoever stopping this lady from taking action against Coca cola Nigeria what he needs here is a good lab scientist who can prove that the substance was "follow come" (factory made) and not planted by the lady. If she can convince the judge on this then she will definitely smile to the bank with millions of naira as damages.
So who are those that read bio chemistry, micro biology and co kindly assist her lawyer so that Coca Cola don't get away with this. But be ready to face the best of experts the company will hire both from home and abroad.

The Call to Bar ceremony is around the corner. On Tuesday 20th November 2012 more than 2000 successful new wigs will take the most scared oath of protecting the constitution and upholding the rule of law, ensuring that Justice is done even if Heaven falls. I sincerely congratulate these lawyers who distinguished themselves by making First Class Honours: Kema Chinedu (IMSU, Owerri), Seye(Uni Ilorin), Oge(Unizik Akwa) and the remaining 6 others. I wish you all the very best in your endeavours.

I am in the industry. Believe you me, what MTN is doing is equipment Swap and not Network Modernization. They are Swapping Ericsson Equipment for Huawei and ZTE [both Chinese coys]and I can authoritatively tell you that these equipment are not in any way IP TX equipment. As a matter of fact, after the swap [modernization, so called] is Asaba, Delta state, a Huawei region, the Network KPI got worse than before, so also was it in PH region. The simple truth is that for the interest of some people Ericsson is swapped out for Huawei. Believe you me, money exchanged hands for this to take place. If you expecting the MTN network to get better after now, I am sorry to tell you, you will be disappointed.

This your submission is very mischievous and deceiving. Asaba has been my second home, it is a place I visit most often. To my greatest surprise I travelled to the town last week only to discover that the internet service has improved tremendously. I now have a full 3G service on my bb as against the EDGE that was obtainable in the past. Nairalanders that stay in Asaba please confirm whether this true or false. I think this guy is a staff of Etisalat who is out there to commit mischief.

Foreign Affairs / Nigerian Gay To Be Deported From UK by ConcernMan: 7:10am On Oct 11, 2012
The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community have expressed fear that Olalekan Ayelokun, a Nigeria national, may be killed once he is deported to the country of his birth on Wednesday.

British authorities confirmed that Ayelokun, who is gay, will be deported to Nigeria after a judge ruled against his application for asylum on grounds that he did not believe the man was gay.

The ruling came down despite friends and lovers’ testimony asserting that the Nigerian was openly gay. However, in the absence of specific guidelines on how to handle such claims, the judge had the discretion to reject that claim.

But LGBT activists said that they fear he could be killed upon returning.

“We are very afraid for his well-being and urge the UK government to rethink their decision, which could threaten his life and that would be against European Union regulations,” one LGBT said on Tuesday.

It would be recalled that David Cameron said, in 2010, condemned the deportation of gay people back to countries where police would imprison, torture, or kill them saying; “If you have a legitimate fear of persecution, that it seems to me that is a perfectly legitimate reason to stay.”

But it appears that efforts to get the deportation stayed are not to be successful.

Music/Radio / Please Who Can Tell Me The Best Song Of Julio Iglesia. by ConcernMan: 11:06pm On Sep 24, 2012
I was at Ikoyi Club, at the swimming pool side last weekend and I heard this song that made me nearly went craze. I made an inquiry about the song and i was told that it was sang by Julio Iglesia. The song was sang in Spanish. Please guys I really need to find this track and download it but the problem is that I have limited information about it. I just checked for the guy's album on net and I was shocked that the guy has nothing less than 9 albums I don't know among the album I will find that. Somebody at the club there told me that he thought the name of the track is "Music is My Life". I checked that out but there is no track like that by Jlio Iglesia. He also said that I should check Vol 2 album and i have also done that but saw many albums that has vol 2 titled somewhere on them I don't know how to go about this. Does anyone has a clue on the best song sang by Julio Iglesia. I really need help.
