Hope Uzodinma, there is no way you won the election that brought you into office. Emeka Ihedioha won that election clean and fair. How you got into office is still 13th wonder of the world. No wonder your reign has thrown Imo State into crisis since you came in |
From my experience, oil majors usually insist on a minimum of 2.1 for entry/graduate positions. However, they do take other lower grades that have acquired strong cognate and industry experience over the years at other levels. |
I personally know this lady. She is an extremely hard working person. When I say, extreme, I mean it in the strictest sense of it. She will definitely own a big food supply chain business in years to come. Sorry Ogechi. |
Those China phones basically don't work in the West generally. My colleagues in the office have had the same issue while visiting US and UK respectively with their Techno phones |
Local Government Chairman is too far now. How many people know their Deputy Governors |
Trust me, there is no real difference between them. I think it is a matter of semantics. Having been put in the task of reviewing over 900 application/cover letters and CVs of prospecting employees for an oil and gas company, it was unthinkable for us to process any candidate for an interview without seeing a copy of his/her application/cover letter supporting his/her CV |
I bet you, don't be surprised that this guy is a director in one federal ministry. A pure product of quota system. May God save this country from mediocrity |
Please never give in to the temptation of insulting your boss while leaving his employment because sooner or later you may be asked to provide a reference letter from your last employer or previous employers and at that time, you will see more than what you bargained for. |
Pierocash:What peculiar advantage will Don Jazzy gain telling you he is 32 while in real sense he is 46? If he had been a footballer then such motive would have been manifestly evident. Just know that some people enjoy rapid physical maturity over others. When I first met my girlfriend, I assumed she was around 27-28 years but I was shocked to realise she was 22 on sighting her birth certificate. Mind you, Dbang had said in countless interviews especially those interviews that he granted after his separation with Don Jazzy that he is way older than Don Jazzy but that notwithstanding, he still called him the boss. Trust me, Dbang would have been the first to blow the whistle if Don Jazzy is truly lying about his age. |
The day I bought Techno F7 with my money (23/04/2014) was the day I made the worst mistake of my life and I pray never to make such a mistake again. I just downloaded like 4 apps on this phone and till today the phone has been prompting me to uninstall apps which I have done like a million times without success. I have attached a screenshot for the world to see as I am composing this text. Based on the online research I conducted, I noticed that the most effective means of resolving this problem is to format the phone and start afresh. But this is temporary. To get a permanent solution, I was directed to Techno office at Opebi, Ikeja. They advised me to bring about 22,000 and swap it for a higher grade. This was happening December last year. A phone I bought for 35,000 (35000+22000=57000 for a Techno phones. I mumu sha). My guy has taunted me for my stupidity because we both set out the same day to buy phones. He got one of the Samsung Galaxy Duos for like 49k or thereabout. He is rocking the phone without problems till today while I have been full of regret. In a nutshell, Techno phones come with ridiculously low memory. If you really want to buy a cheap android phones there are lots of Samsung phones in the market now that are within your reach (e.g Primes) and they wouldn't give you problem like Techno.

This writer (I have genuine reason to believe he is D'bang hiding under that moniker) must be high on opium when he was putting this shit down. If one of the most powerful financial institution in the world like JP Morgan (mind you Nigerian oil sales in dollar denominated currency enter this bank everyday) could go bankruptcy and had to be bailed out by US govt, who then is D'bang? Billionaires go broke then talk more of D'bang. Dangote sometime around 6th Nov 2014 was worth about 25 billion USD but less than 24 hours his net worth dropped to 21 billion USD. Mind you these celebrities generally spend money without brain and therefore have every reason to go broke. Wizkid bashed his Porsche Panamera sometime in 2013 and within a short while he bought another one (about 15 million naira gone for life). Tomorrow you tell me he can't go broke because he is Wizkid. Michael Jackson (the king of Pop) during his last days had serious financial crisis and nearly or even sold his multi million ranch. So while can't D'bang be broke if he is financially reckless? |
The Lagos Tenancy Law came in 2011 and sky rocketed the rent of houses in Lagos. I see doom in the transport sector in Lagos State if this law is ever enforce. Lagosians get ready to trek from Island to mainland. It is now operation get your own car. |

More than 500 prospective Nigerian law students who are expected to commence the 2013/2014 law school programme by the end of October may boycott the programme. Their reason for the likely boycott is hinged on posting of students to campuses under the state of emergency, against their choices by the authorities of the school. The affected students accused the school authorities of insensitivity to security of life saying the campuses under state of emergency ought to have been suspended given the terrible situation of insecurity in those states. According to some of the students who spoke to our reporter on condition of anonymity, the law school authorities posted them to Yola and Kano campuses without minding the security implications involved. They expressed serious fear over the rampant insecurity in the affected states and called on the Ministries of Education and Justice as well as the Presidency to prevail on the law school authorities to repost them to secure areas before it becomes too late. Most of the prospective law students affected by the posting had chosen four law school campuses according to their preferences as provided in the admission form they filled to indicate their intention for participating in the 2013/2014 programme. When the admission list was published last Sunday however, it became clear that the Law school authorities did not consider the voluntary choices of the prospective students before posting them to those dangerous areas. Traditionally, prospective Law students are entitled to four campuses of their choice in order of preference and these are often filled in the application form long before postings are done. Strangely, however, most of those posted to the state of emergency areas this year did not choose any of those areas and none of their preferred areas was considered in the posting exercise. Unless an urgent action is taken by the government to rectify the posting situation most of the affected students may not go to law school this year a situation that is capable of aggravating the already tensed education condition in the country. Meanwhile, the enrolment for law school this year is lower than those of the previous years due to the ongoing industrial strike embarked upon by the Association of University Unions (ASUU) which prevented most final year law students from graduating and meeting the schedule of law school this year. Following its establishment by the federal government in 1962, the Nigerian Law School (NLS) was situated in the former federal capital of Lagos until 1996 when the late General Sani Abacha regime moved it to the new federal capital of Abuja. Subsequently, NLS was decentralized thereby paving way for six campuses with one located in each of the six geopolitical zones of the country. The campuses are located in Kano, Northwest; Yola, Northeast; Abuja, North-Central and Lagos, Southwest. Others are Enugu, Southeast and Yenogua, South-south. Two of the geopolitical zones (Northwest and Northeast) are now affected by the insecurity engendered Boko Haram insurgents who claim to be fighting for the obliteration of western education in Nigeria. The current Director-General of NLS, Dr. Tahir Maman, who is said to have hailed from Yola, Adamawa State assumed office in 2005 http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/10/law-school-students-plan-boycott/ |

Maxymilliano: In your attempt to indict the President at all cost, did you guys bother to find out if there were truly pending court cases that militated against a possible reinstatement of Justice Salami as stated by the Attorney General and Minister of justice ?May God bless your father, you and your unborn children. Tell these illiterates who have chosen to publicly show their ignorance of the law. It is trite law that once a case has been referred to the court, then all parties involved must await the outcome of such suit. How on earth does one expect the President to preempt the court by reinstating Salami when Salami himself who has taken the matter to court has neglected, failed or refused to withdraw the suit. When the President acts contrary to the law by reinstating Salami tomorrow, it is this same people that will condemn him for failing to uphold the law which he has sworn to protect. Please Nigerian try as much as possible to avoid double standard. Salami shot himself on the foot SIMPLE. He can not approbate and reprobate at the same time. I wish him a fruitful retirement. It is not easy to retire as the President of Court of Appeal. The retirement package for a President of Court of Appeal is far more bigger than that of a Justice of the Supreme Court except the Chief Justice of the Federation. He should go and enjoy it. |

Lifebender: Do you blame themMind you it is not the duty of the Justices|Judges to type their judgments. They just write the judgment and then pass it to their personal typist to type under strict confidentiality. It is very obvious from this write up that one of such staff compromised the judgement may be for monetary gain from our politicians. Trust our politicians, they can be very desperate to do anything. |
THE Federal Judicial Service Commission (FJSC) has dismissed five workers of the Supreme Court and a staffer of the Court of Appeal, Abuja division, for their involvement in the leakage of an undelivered judgment in the case of SC 179/2012 involving Senator Alphonsus Uba Igbeke and Lady Margery Okadigbo and three others. The affected workers were Russell Ndenu, Nathaniel Abraham, Olayinka Abiodun, Bada Kayode, Festus Ilurimi and Stephen Izonebi. According to a statement issued by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Sunday Olorudahunsi, on Thursday, the six judiciary workers were found through investigation to have conspired among themselves and allegedly with two outsiders, Senator Igbeke and one Collins Okechukwu to leak out the judgement before it was delivered on May 31, 2013. “Senator Igbeke put a paid advert on page 42 of the Daily Sun of May 30, 2013, alleging that the said judgment had leaked, which forced his counsel in the matter, Chief Wole Olanipekun, to write to the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court to dissociate himself from the publication, as well as withdrawing his service to Senator Igbeke on the matter. “The FJSC considered their act as serious misconduct that runs contrary to Regulation 48(1)(xi) of the FJSC Regulations, Regulation 49 and Regulation 60(1) (i),” the statement read. Meanwhile, the commission has requested the Minister of Justice and the Attorney-General of the Federation to further investigate the motive behind the leakage and possibly take legal action against Senator Igbeke and Okechukwu, for allegedly masterminding the leaked undelivered judgment of the Supreme Court. http://tribune.com.ng/news2013/en/news/item/15993-5-s-court-workers-sacked-over-leaked-judgment.html |
