Abu-Maryam:

Dump backside religious bigots, who said the bombs were not belongs to churches, its the xristian in their devilish ants that detonated the bombs to simplify the killing of our brothers and God providence act they harvest what they sow. Islam is a religion of peace, and anyone try poo on us we gonna retaliate in thesame measure openly, we are not cowards if we did it we must comfess. I'm surprise some arrogans are here pointing the finger on muslims. This is act of cowardness. And i'm still remaining u these bombs blast in Jos were detonated by xristian. You are waiting for media to tell you, wat a waste of time?? despite all the mediums local and abroad are xristian propagation center. God will punish you.
You muslims feel the more you say 'Islam is a religion of peace' ,you will all some day begin to believe it  undecided

The evidence is there all over the world (UK,Sudan,Iraq,Afghanistan,US,Philipines,Nigeria),no use blaming anyone else. . . . .Islam is inherently evil & violent.

Thats why Israel won't take s**t from you people  wink

Muslims really need to rethink the foundation of their beliefs.

They go on as if they are on the right path ,but all we hear about them is death & destruction. . .Allah Akbar !

Islam for Muslims / Re: Why Muslims Pray In Arabic? by congoshine(m): 2:55pm On Dec 24, 2010
LagosShia:

I started this thread after readin the post #35 of sister "uplawal" here:

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-486790.32.html

i believe for the muslims who are not arab or who dont speak arabic,language should not be a barrier.that can be true if we muslims put in the effort to understand our religion and arm ourselves with knowledge.we should stop the tradition of donkeys i.e. repetition with no understanding.we should not simply be told read this 10 times and do this and do that without knowing what we do and why we do.

in this line,many people actually wonder why we muslims pray in arabic and do most acts of worship in arabic.some who were "muslims" have even abandoned islam because they believe they are following the language of another people.that all stems from misunderstanding.ofcourse the enemies of islam and the christian missionaries with their perfected acts of brainwashing and deceptive preaching take advantage of the muslim state of ignorance.

please join me in reviewing the link below,and let us read why we muslim pray in arabic:

http://www.al-islam.org/why-pray-arabic/

I sort of agree with you. Allah likely wanted to have only one language in the world - Arabic ,but changed his mind much later cheesy

Big B1:

@poster:
Picture#1: IBB's son about to enter a private jet
Picture#2: IBB's daughter sitting on a private jet
Picture#3: IBB and family at a private dinner while on family vacation
Picture#4: A picture of an interior section of a private jet
Picture#5: IBB's wife (late) taking a walk while on family vacation
Picture#6: Again, IBB's wife (late) taking a walk while on family vacation

Backsta, I do not know where you come from or your back ground, but there is absolutely no big deal in any of these pictures. For God sake IBB was a president for 8 years, what exactly do you expect? Do you expect him and his family to be on the line trying to get into Arik air along with other passengers like you and I? Sorry, it doesn't work this way.
Let us use our common sense, a former president deserves an exclusive private life regardless of where on this planet he resides.

I'm an ordinary Nigerian who works day and night to make ends meet and I can tell you that I have been on a private jet that is much better than what is on these pictures and I also enjoy taking private vacations with my family from time to time all around the world. So, what exactly is the big deal?

Do not let us embrace bushboy mentality, these things are not big deals, especially when you happen to be a former president of one of the wealthiest and lovely African countries like Nigeria. Please let us get a life and get with it.

Even a king of a small town in Nigeria flies on a private jet.

If anything, we should all be giving bravo to IBB for being a great father, and magnificent husband that admires his family more than anything else. He is a Muslim, but still very committed to his one and only wife, and 4 children.
The last time I checked, OBJ's youngest baby is a few months old; even Ribadu has up to 3 wives.
In my book, IBB still represents a great example for all ages and an incredible leader.

Mr. Blacksta, delete these pictures and try to start a sensible topic, because this one (topic) is making you look like a useless/hopeless f00l.

@Big B1 -I think you're being rather disingenuous.

What do you mean by 'what is the big deal' ? undecided

Where does accountability come in ?

In a country where over 75 million human beings live on less than $1 a day, an ex-government worker is living in such largesse & you're saying its no big deal ? shocked

If we were talking about Dangote's picture or Adenuga nobody would have raised an eye brow . . .but the 'evil genius' only job in life has been in government,so where did this money come from?

IBB being faithful to his wife etc is not anyone's business. . . .his loot however is in the public interest. tongue
