Welcome to nairaland. I'm always facinated by the level 'oyinbos' take research to.

I really doubt the long term benefits of this rather unusual research on Nigeria,my take is -the solution to Nigeria's corruption problem is really very simple-lobby your government to discourage politicians or government oficials from buying property/sending money abroad.

Street hawkers are just a fraction of our economic woes. . . . .

I was telling some mates here that there was actually another side to the Ken Saro-Wiwa story. He was actually convicted in a courtof law,the only problem was that Abacha was in a hurry to execute him. . .

Quite sad sha. I hope peace comes to that part of the country soon. . . . .

Once you have judgement at the supreme court on a panel of 9 judges, that is the end of all appeals, that is why it is called the supreme court.

The decision is valid & you are right on all counts. It all smacks of OBJ 'do-or-die' politics. I remember a similar case involving an Anambre 'senator' where he appealed to the ECOWAS COURT !!!! shocked
