GAZZUZZ:Oga thanks a lot. I will watch out for it. The change would be done today or tomorrow. I will come here with testimony even as kazeem is at work on my case |
Flashh:That last NCC fine against MTN was how many billion abi trillion again? And truly I don't know where the money NCC received is used for but I know it goes to our government |
GAZZUZZ:Thank you boss. This torque converter, is it the same atf that is usually contained within it or something else which needs to be refilled after emptying? |
as nobody gree answer me before... Conner44:I've now gotten a good tokumbo gearbox. Please advise me as to the material needed to successfully do a change. I know the right oil to use but I need to know How many litres of oil is recommended that I buy? Remember it's recession time and that oil's price is not a small number. Can I just refill and test drive and keep on driving without draining again (once the gearbox is confirmed working perfectly) I Have always used dextron III in this current gearbox. Can I do a test run of the new gearbox first with dextron III and then flush and refill with ATF-DW1( although I see ATF-Z1 in the car manual) |
This is a nice example of brain usage. With good business sense anyone will make it big anywhere |
THERMOSTAT Yes, I've been driving without it ever since I purchased the car from someone 2 years ago. I have been seeing discussions about it up and down since but I didn't really get bothered. I plan to do some regular maintenance on the engine soon and I am considering buying a new thermostat and fixing in. I have never used coolant on the radiator before as well. The car has also never overheated before, except one day one of the fans disconnected and I was using a/c while driving. It nearly happened that day but I parked sharply on noticing the steam. The hood paint job suffered a bit sha. Our neighborhood kazeem helps me pamper the engine from time to time. I might as well forgo installing the thermostat as I haven't really been giving thought to the fuel consumption of the car. But I acknowledge that we are in the buhari era and I need to seek if the grass is indeed greener on the other side concerning fuel consumption and installing the thermostat. I've been using the car for 2 years like this, no issues no complaints. Should I try a thermostat now or just face my front? 2003 honda accord i4 Please advise |

Talk to fogman He's our 'in-house' auto multimedia specialist |
nurey:You are wrong attacking him. You stated that you saw just 2 of those suvs and then based your opinion on them, not only did you keep it to yourself you are giving advice based on it. That guy pointed out your mistake and you flared up... Why? Do you know that I was also led astray by your erroneous initial post? This forum is public and you know it. Look at the views this thread has and imagine how many people have and will still read through it to add to their knowledge. It seems that the volvo has a hidden/on-demand navigation system hence your reason for thinking it didn't. I myself was able to deduce that from the picture the other poster put up. But why attack him for stating the obvious (which you didn't)? Let's try to be more mature in our dealings on this forum bro |
Abcruz:I intend to create a thread specifically towards affordable and cheap home mining solutions for us here in Nigeria to make some money out of crypto currency. When I've started it I will mention you so don't worry. |
rexhafiz:You may be correct in regards to his posts being geared towards cloud mining but I doubt it will have anything to do with bitcoin mining. To rent a bitcoin cloud mining plan won't cost anything less than 1BTC per THZ and that will be expensive to a lot of folks here in Nigeria. He mentioned that the stipulated fee to join his "wonder" method would cost €150 or ₦50,000 so I guess he must me talking of another altcoin like ether or so. I don't subscribe to cloud mining because of the fees and the roi period isn't guaranteed (in the case of bitcoin anyway) so I mine at home as a hobby. I just save my earnings and hope the price of the currency increases as the days go by. If you have a rig set up we can definitely rub minds as I will also like to delve into altcoins as well. I prefer mining by myself on my hardware as against cloud mining (guess I'm a hardware guy myself) What altcoin do you feel will gather enough momentum to go against the bitcoin in months to come? My next project will be geared towards getting hardware to mine either litecoin or etherum but I am open to suggestions |
The owner of this thread isn't helping anybody by hiding the details of this 'wonder currency' he is advertising. All of see is him speaking about bitcoin here and there meanwhile it isn't bitcoin he is trying to sensitize people about. He is here for the referrals he might generate. There is nothing like "mods ban/delete my posts". If they won't ban you for typing BITCOIN then they won't touch you for mentioning the crypto currency you keep trumpeting about. If you doubt me call his number and be wowed at how easily you wasted your credit. I will still ask the op one more time for posterity sake. . . OP, ARE YOU HERE TO HELP OTHERS OR TO HELP YOURSELF? |
Chei! Imagine someone going in to study law in a lawless country like Nigeria A country where it's teeming lawyers can't even prosecute the useless common wealth thieves and looters to produce a conviction A country where the only place and cases where a lawyer can ever shine is chasing after petty criminals and other personal lawyer stuff like wills and others Until the day I see a lawyer in Nigeria put a put a political big wig behind bars I will never have any respect for that profession. It'd like a wasted vocation in this lawless country called Nigeria. Please upcoming lawyers in the house kindly let us know who your role model/mentor is? Why so keen to study law when you're going to be held back by the "powers that be" whenever you decide to take on the big and controversial cases? No member of my immediate family will ever study or practice law in this country unless I switch on my television one day to see someone like Dasuki live in kirikiri |
Who says mining bitcoin in Nigeria is not possible? It's not as profitable as mining in other climes but it works all the same. I've been mining for months now. I know power is epileptic but at least I generate ₦500 worth of bitcoin after mining for 4 hours at a stretch with NEPA at the current exchange rate. I will allow the op continue to enlighten you all.

mycece:LOL. My guy my guy So you're telling us that the owner used this 2004 model for a month and upgraded to the 2016 model? As in directly upgraded to the same model of car but the 2016 version? Wow! And if this one costs ₦2.5M I wonder how much the 2016 version will cost ₦2.5M for this tiny thing that can't contain a pregnant woman and her husband? Lol And it's 9ja Registered oh Chai! Innoson must hear this |
hopefulLandlord:Nice question But is it "why are you here on this thread in NL" or "why are you here, alive in this world?" The second question should be the main reason for your brain to be in overdrive. |
hmm. Na wao How old is the Sanusi self? Meanwhile iya Sherifatu is warning me to stay away from her daughter who I love so dearly. Sherifatu is 20 yrs old while her step mom is 25 yrs. Papa Sherifatu is nearing his 80's with 5 wives to his name. It's like I should stop famzing iya Sherifatu and instead draw body close to Papa Sherifatu... That man would be very understanding as to my plans for one of his numerous daughters |
AlphaCentauri:I am viewing all the pages of this thread because of you I gbadun the way dem dey bash you. The laughter is good for my health I no dey hate oh. I go follow you self. I like to laugh like this once in a while. Keep it up |
okay. so you are saying that i could get a regular wifi modem and make the router connect to it via wifi for internet. then i can still share the internet connection from the router via ethernet cables to my printer and pc? |
bigtt76:Thanks. Please does that router which you're recommending to me also have at least 2 ethernet ports as well as port forwarding abilities? |
spikesC:Thanks. So what you're suggesting is that I plug in my USB modem then with a cable or wifi 'share' Internet connectivity from my pc to the router which can then broadcast it's own connection via ethernet or wifi? |
GlorifiedTunde:yes i am aware it is just only a modem. What i was asking is that i would like to know how the ROUTER would get the internet connectivity which it would be sharing via WIFI and ETHERNET to my other devices. I was searching on AMAZON but all the modems i saw there were cable modems and i do not think those will work for me here. I already have this usb modem which i use on my PC but i was wondering if i could purchase only the ROUTER and then connect the modem to the router via usb and then connect both my PC and other devices directly to the router to get internet connectivity. Is this possible? can the router accept a dial-up usb modem as its internet source? |
GlorifiedTunde:Thanks. I wanted to confirm if i could connect this my modem (a GLO NETPRO USB MODEM) which i cracked to work with any sim card to the ROUTER via USB? i want to be sure my current modem would work than purchasing another one when there is no LTE/4G connectivity in my area. |
hello members and especially networking gurus. I am about to purchase some networking devices to help keep all my computers connected in my home. I have been on Amazon looking for the items but due to the number of devices to choose from i am left confused ( i am a novice in these things) but i beieve that if i can purchase the right equipments i need then i can set them up with the aid of google no problem. I plan to buy 1. a good stable ROUTER (with port forwarding capabilities) that has at least 3 ETHERNET ports to allow internet connection to other devices via WIFI and ETHERNET ports 2. a good MODEM ( dial-up with LTE capability) so that i can subscribe for an internet plan with any of our ISP's and then connect this same modem to the router either via USB or WIFI. 3. i plan to connect my PRINTER and COMPUTER to the ROUTER via ETHERNET cable and also my mobile phones to the router via WIFI. Please i need someone to recommend a good ROUTER and DIAL-UP MODEM that can work with Nigerian ISP's (like MTN, AIRTEL e.t.c) that i can purchase. I am in Ebonyi state and there is no good service provider here except the usual GSM operators we have in Nigeria. a rough sketch of what i need is below. Thanks for your contributions.

marvolio2000:Gbam! I still can't understand how someone will 'genuinely' want to sell a car without putting up pictures of its interior design. Plus it's obvious that 4matic logo was pasted on very hurriedly, maybe the car was once repainted or it isn't really a 4matic Op, I'm not bashing your sales. It's just simple logic talking here |
nunogomez:So tomorrow if someone does something like that to somebody you know. . . Someone close to you. . . You will turn a blind eye and cry in your house because 'accidents happen?' You won't bother to find out WHAT CAUSED THE ACCIDENT? if a landlord uses substandard goods to build and it later collapses killing many, you will say "NOBODY BUILDS HIS HOUSE SO IT WILL COLLAPSE TOMORROW" therefore it's an accident and the landlord shouldn't be blamed? Why you dey talk like dis naa? |
nunogomez See, you are still not looking at the matter objectively. The judge won't be interested in anything apart from using the evidence put in front of him to judge the case. His own is that, someone died, the killer was caught and needs to be judged accordingly. Now the police on the other hand are the ones to try and ascertain exactly "what led to the individual being killed" and present their findings to the judge. You have ruled out the object of familiarity in the killing and also say it was an accident. . Okay we agree but that doesn't mean someone won't be punished for the 'accident' Accidents are a common phenomenon in our environment but there is something similar in all accident cases and that is 'something or somebody' must have caused it either due to negligence or otherwise. You should know that negligence is not an excuse in any court of law. Since she didn't know the victim then she shouldn't have any reason to want him dead. . . Yes we agree. Then the question remains "why is he dead?" I spoke about her having a faulty vehicle, or not knowing how to manipulate the controls of the vehicle (because it could be a new car) or she couldn't drive properly. One of the above could serve as a reason for the accident but you then asked me 'if she didn't have a valid drivers license?' a question which amazes me especially how getting a driver's license is gone about in this zoo called Nigeria. In other saner countries all the reasons above would be attributed to the carelessness of the driver or the car maker themselves (that's why you hear of recalls on some car models) Let me ask you a question, let us assume that you drive a Toyota camry, or honda Accord and somebody then gives you the keys to a bugatti to drive him around town. So because you have a valid drivers license you would collect the keys, enter the motor and zoom off? Just like that? Then if you run over someone you will stand up and be waving your 'VALID' drivers license in the air claiming you can drive so it's a mystery how you managed to get somebody killed? Hmm. . . My brother, this life get as e be oh. I hate jungle justice but a zoo has no justice system. |
