Thank you. Oga that pic 1 is disconnected oh. The wire that's supposed to be connected to it is hanging & dangling nearby.

So the only use of that wire is to deploy the airbags in the event of a collision?

I am about changing the front bumper of a 2004 accord and I saw this below the front driver side fender (just before the tire groove). It's a wire not connected to a switch.

I asked my kazeem what it's for and he said it's the "carburetor sensor" I immediately became confused and asked him why the car should have such a switch when it's an injector engine but he could only smile sheepishly at me.


Please tell me what it is and if I should leave it or reconnect it. I've been using the car like this since I got it and it's the first time I'm seeing this because the bumpers have never been taken off before until now.

it was a minor fault incidentally my whack mechanic serviced the gear and used the regular.. ATF ABRO... 4litres ..dexron iii... we

that caused the issues .. the gear oil is supposed to be TIV... A simple gear oil change solved the problem...but had to change the filter and drop the gear to drain the converter..

mehnnn .. to think i had also serviced my highlander with thesame dexron111 .. had to quickly change the oil too.to a TIV.

from what i discovered all toyotas from 2000 upwards use TIV

one thing i learnt .. with gear boxes .. knowledge is golden...

DO see how you almost killed the transmission of that Ride? but you self, you too like television...

Hi oga fogman.

I'm having issues with the EOD navigation system. It works perfectly until I put it in navigation map mode and it does not show the present location of the vehicle anymore. It only shows one particular location where it last worked. Also the clock always resets to 12:00 anytime I restart the car.

How can I fix the clock not remembering the time and also the faulty navigation system? I've tried resetting the system but that doesn't work.
